According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

It appears to me that Max Keiser is cautious in his mentions of Bitcoin.
He'll probably be supportive of it in the sense that he'll give it some decent commentary/air time if and when newsworthy items related to it come up.

Max Keiser was encouraging people to crash JP Morgan by buying physical silver (so that JP Morgan couldn't meet its futures contracts). Max didn't have enough influence over his audience to actually achieve his goal.

Having said that, if Max Keiser only gets ten thousand new (and active) bitcoin users by the end of next year, it will still have a big effect.

I think it is wrong to give max all credit and responsibility for the 1M Users campaign.
As I understood it at the Eurobit, bit-pay declared this as their and a "general" goal, Max and others picked it up.

He's the guy who was railing against JP Morgan(?) and tried to push the price of silver up enough to bankrupt them via their short position on that market.  It ultimately failed though.

Maybe I'm dense. Perhaps I have the wrong website. But I can't find anything, not even a link, regarding Bitcoin on his webpage.
I can't either but the guys from bitpay say they have been talking to him.  And the topic title is inaccurate, it isn't Max's campaign, it's Bit-pays and they are trying(have?) to get Max on board.

I have read that thread and it makes me wonder, why does this thread exist?
I think because the manipulator pours forum positive misinformation in order to "grow" policy to at least 3.5, and then cashed yet .....

Bitcoin owner: Buy bitcoins!

Potential customer: Why?  What will I get out of it?

Bitcoin owner: It will cause the price to go up

Potential customer: So who will benefit from this?

Bitcoin owner: I will.  It's gonna be great.

Potential customer: ...

Max has to be careful for his campaign not to come across as 'buy MY bitcoins'.  He can declare he's got no financial interest in it, but ultimately, as bitcoin is almost anonymous, no one can prove this.

The manipulator uses "herd instinct" of people and he writes on a forum under different accounts "the price will rise", "rally", and so on... Then, he buys in the small portions but is regular throughout the propagation... Also puts the orders on buy. The price for coins grows... There are "beginners" which expose large orders on buy hardly below market price... When the sum necessary to it will be typed, he sells in these towers... Don't kick me for my English...
