Buying coins with 1000% profit is not easy, you may easily say this but you will find it difficult to do because we never know which coin goes from basic to high with 1000% ROI unless you choose a meme coin but behind it there is a big risk.
So the dream of buying coins with the idea you expect is difficult.

Naah it's more on BTC with the percentage that if you put all the money in BTC it will still be fine than altcoins which can drop dramatically at any time especially choosing on a project that has just launched on the market.

I am almost 90% BTC and the rest altcoins with some needs for airdrops.

   That means if 60% of your holdings are Bitcoin, you will surely have a profit waiting for you in the upcoming bull run this year, right? As for me, because I'm not the type of investor here who has a lot of capital to buy crypto assets that have potential,  the only thing I think is a priority that can give me a good profit is the top altcoins in the market.

   Let's say that I will be able to accumulate Bitcoin, but it is not sure that I will be able to give the big profit that I expect when the bull run actually comes. There is a bit of a reality that it will happen if I invest in top altcoins on a large scale, at least through DCA on them.

The idea is good, but how do you choose successful projects? If you invest even with a breakdown of capital, you will still receive a loss, since, for example, only a few out of 100 projects may be successful. And the rest will bring losses. Don't forget that hundreds of new coins appear every day.

$0.00001 is normally the memecoin price which is what you may want to buy except you wanna pick the most potential. i doubt all of them are going to hit $0.01, some of them may grow and some of them may just be owned by a team developer who wanted to sell the tokens for the rest of the bull run season for $0.00001 and or the rest of the bull season, its just it. no growth.

i would probably put more of my money on cheap smart contract platforms like Matic or Vechain which had also pumped to more than 25%.

This won't be the same for everyone as people have different targets and risk tolerances. But your current position puts you on the safe side and with the rest of the 40% you can try your luck on major alts. But i think as you have already secured 60% of your position with bitcoin so you can try to take a higher risk with a low cap altcoin. If the risk and luck play out, you will make a decent profit and even if it goes against you, your bitcoin holdings will help you recover your losses.

An unrealistic dream. I have made such investment several times when I bought several shitcoin hoping for a great or massive pushup or pump, to become a millionaire or billionaire with those coins, but all to no avail. I only spent a hole lot of time believing a dream as reality. Only for me to later know that there is a different between long and short term investment, bitcoin from altcoin and altcoin from shitcoin. People invest in shitcoin and expect the potentially of Bitcoin from it. Not knowing that bitcoin has more potential than the other altcoins. Thou it might might be a dream come true but I found because a coin with such value at 1 coin is =0.00001$ may never has a potential of even 0.01 because It need millions of push to reach that level. and also need investors who can make it more frequent, to push more investor to have more liquidity.

Actually btc is a place of most valuable investment. Altcoin is just a place to boost up your investment, which could likely be 50/50 or 70/30 or even 99/1 in term of investment. Because you never can tell the outcome of your investment, whether positive or negative.

What makes you think that coins priced very low tend to have better potential to grow very high in price in the future? As far as I know, if a project is priced at $0.0001, it most likely has a very high supply which is the reason why it's priced very low generally, projects don't launch their coins or tokens with such low prices if their project is good and their coin or token has the potential to attract investors.

Most users would have most of their capital invested in Bitcoin because it's the best option one can have, and most people trade altcoins mainly for short-term gains and they barely buy and hold them for long because they carry a lot of risks and history is proof for that.

I put my money on altcoins that I know will be a top tier one when the bull run take its effect. Its good to have a buy low and sell high mentality but it is not yet mean that we would never see a dissapointment at all. Its true that many of us have loss some funds during bear but that only when you sell already. Earning in ceypto is easier according to many as long as you knew whwre to park your money.

Its still important to look after those reputable and potential coin because you can't predicts what may comes of other shitcoin and there is every likelihood for you to lose your investment completely because most of those project or coin are not yet established. Meaning during investment you must look out for the established project and not just the profits and percentage to make at the later ends, most of the investors are just eager to look out of percentage of what they are going to make in such investment. So to me I mostly prefers holding bitcoin and any other established potential coin that has a good reputation instead of going for newly birth projects.

I am sticking to the top ones. I have those type of coins that you are buying based on the description but I don't hold a lot of them. There is just so many of them to choose from if that's the type of coins you're trying to get on that might change your life.
But the longer this market is existing, the fewer these projects are going to make someone profitable. So, if you're holding 60% of your assets in BTC then that's making you free to do whatever you want and wherever you want to go.

You could basically still buy quite a lot of these "low-priced" coins and still buy worthless and scam coins, mind you that it is almost impossibe to predict the potential of most new projects, more often than not they end up as pump and dump coins and only those who were lucky enough to by early would make ROI.

Sometimes, this is quite interesting and tempting to see the increase in these small coins which have changed drastically by thousands of percentages. But really, these types of coins are very risky, so be careful with various types of coins like this.

Exactly, Bitcoin is the best crypto for  investment with higher percentage than the altcoins, of course.
And after that, Instead of choosing various new coins which still have very low prices and we are still wondering about their potential in the future, I personally would prefer top coins whose prices are still quite small and have quite a large potential to rise in the future. One example is Matic, the price of which is still quite affordable.

I tend to align with you more than the Op. It is just like a general knowledge that low price coins gives better profits. But the puzzle of finding these good low priced altcoins is hard. As you rightly said, many of them are scam, some are pure shitcoins without road map and maybe will depend on social media hype for temporal pump and dump. It is fine we understand that whoever invests in such projects is just gambling and nothing more.

My main portfolio is bitcoin, I have some stable coin waiting for where to invest it but no courage or confidence to do so. I don't actually know why it is so

It's a terrible idea to look at only coins with a specific unit price based in fiat.  I can create a coin with a trillion coin supply or I can make one with a thousand coin supply.  If they both have the same market cap you are only going to look at the first one.  Total Supply shouldn't sway you in terms of what you look for in projects.  You will miss out on some profitable ones that way.

That's how people fall into a scam token since they easily believe that theirs huge possibilities for them to earn if they believe on other people suggestion to invest on it. People failed to realize that they are just been hyped so that there would be more people to join the project then these people will take what they want especially if they want their targets to get be hit. 1000% is hard to achieve and its so rare that a investor will get that type of profit percentage.

BTC is the most reliable one and we can't deny that for so many times it show some strong dominance but we can't expect a 1000% with this but profit we can get is decent if we believe with it for long term. I know some other like the idea about investing those new project and I'm not against with it. Better they should try that so they can experience the real time happening so people could learn something with their investments decisions made.

Well either its expensive or cheap price it doesnt really depend on the price itself of a coin oe token but on the parameters lile fdv and marketcap. Thats how the computation of potential gain can be achieved. More people thinks that if coins like with 0.0001 can become a dollar maybe yes and no but you should look how circulating supply works so you wont expect a higher price for that.
