That wasn't very wise of you but you were lucky. I would say one should always set their limits before they gamble and those limits shouldn't be crossed at any cost. Even if you had more money to be able to commute back to your residence, you shouldn't gamble with what you have not added to your budget initially if you have already lost your budget. OP it worked for you but I must say that it is not a good idea, I know that you will say that every thing is about risk, your risk risk level should not surpass your purpose, personally I have not win any bet with my last stake but I have heard many people mention it, however your risk favored you and I call it luck, some other person have tried this and fail at the end, luck plays a major role in gambling, though you have to know your selection and the teams involve before you can make your favorite choice, it is very important as a gambling not to make a wrong move because of the consequences, congratulations on your win but play with caution next time because look might not be on your side as usual.
