Fixedfloat has been hacked yesterday, the real sites is flxedfloat.com and it's currently temporary unavailable. However there's a phishing site comes up using fixedlfoat.com domains.



This has been confirmed by FixedFloat's representatives too, if you want to choose swap exchange you can use eXch.cx or you can use other sites using bestchange.com

We have only one domain, all other domains are scammers. Be careful, our service is still under maintenance and we are not providing services yet.

This hack will affect their services negatively and they might not be able to come back very soon. They might be able to return if the funds are recovered, without that $26 million is too much to lose and can easily lead to bankruptcy. This is another warning that keeping large funds in exchanges is risky.

Your screenshot again shows that Google have problems with their security to detect phishing sites and proactively block those bad sites to appear on top of Google search results.

Google can not blame on scammers because they as a host, must have powerful detective algorithm and tool to detect hazardous things to appear on top of result. If they can do that, it shows their true care about customers. In reality, they fail to do it for years and not only on web browser, but you will have issues with fakes applications in Google Play.

Thanks for sharing this piece of information, its for everyone to always remain conscious when they are trying to have access to any website and check very very well that the site that is loading was the intended one and not the cloned or hacked site, google has a lot to do more in dealing with all these kind of phishing attacks, we should also stay updated with the website original social media handles for their updates on any new development or warning signals.

Fixedfloat.com domain is still accessible however it's on maintenance mode so we can't trade or anything through it.

Most sponsored results from google searches are scams from my experience. Better get ublock origin on your devices so these ads are blocked, see: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock. and on mobile, we can install unblock origin on firefox app through "add-on"

I never click or use sponsored links on Google I disabled them or blocked them on my settings under Chrome's intrusive ads settings or you should have a discipline not to click any links sponsored on the Google search to avoid falling into phishing sites.

Never heard of this instant exchange before I just recently found this exchange posted by eXch.cc from this posted link below they received an email from fbi.gov which is indeed that this exchange was hacked eXch was involved according to the email because according to the email the hacker uses eXch exchange to exchange some of the stolen funds.

I dont think Fixedflaot was temporary unavailable at all.
Their website is working fine, but you can't swap anything or use their exchange service.
It's no surprise to see scammers are using this situation to try and trick people with phishing domains.

Google has a serious problem and we've been reporting these phishing and fake websites that are being shown through sponsored ads. I have no idea if they're taking that seriously and how loose their system and filter with these fake websites able to get a slot for advertising on their platform through search results. I won't wonder if there will be victims that will fall for that and as much as they should be blamed, we can't blame them if the platform itself where they're searching it don't take actions unless it has been reported massively.

Usually newly created domains do not appear in Google results or at least on the home page.  the closure of Fixedfloat will be exploited for phishing links if the domain does not return to work soon, as users will receive emails that Fixedfloat has returned and the link will be to a phishing link or any of the usual behaviors of these scammers. Google search will help them as they know how to make their links appear first.
