I do not understand your point clearly, if you are talking about "LONG" in terms of years one have engaged in gambling I believe they do not really care about recovery of losses again rather just gamble and generally every gambler have this feeling of arousal while gambling because of the rush of Dopamine in the system. Yes I will definitely feel excited while gambling because it is one thing I like this is for those people that love gambling a lot and sometimes they see it as a fun meanwhile they are also making money through it and they feel so much excited yes this really happened to several kind of people the people always feel excited I have seen a lot of people on this situation but to me sometimes I am happy gambling sometimes and I'm not happy but one thing I realize whenever I'm not happy gambling I make sure I don't proceed on that day prediction or gambling because I need not think straight and I will definitely do something that will make me lose money so I wouldn't so I will just try to come myself down and when I am ready I proceed on gambling back

Yeah that's nice composure mate, to always keep your cool whenever yah winning or losing .
