De-Fi, Web3, NFTs, Memes, DEX, new Level1 Eth competitors such as Solana, Level 2 Ethereum chain such as Polygon, Algorithmic Stable Coins and Gaming was hot Trends for the last 2020/21 Bull Market. Who remembers Shiba Inu Meme coin and Decentraland MANA, as well as Terra Luna and gaming cryptos as well as NFT's and De-Fi was exploding

Have I missed any old past trends from the list above?

These trends were so hot they stopped Bitcoin and stole marketcap share from Bitcoin preventing bitcoin reaching $100k in 2021. If it wasn't for these hot trends then bitcoin would have easily reached $100k in 2021.

Then the scam news hit the crypto markets in 2022-23 such as Terra Luna collapse and FTX and such causing the above trends to crash as investors/traders lost confidence in the crypto market.

Its 2024 now next year 2025, question is it will be a few years since the scam news hit crypto investors, so will will crypto investors in 2025 still remember the hurt they been through in 2022-23 or will they have forgotten it by 2025 and if they have forgotten then can the above trends make a comeback in the next bull market?

Will we have absolutely new trends to replace the above past old trends because of the past hurt & scams? The trend now is Ai but that trend started last year 2023 with Nvidia so can this Ai trend be still be sustained into the 2025 Bull market?

Apart from Ai what other new trends the Crypto market will see in the next bull market? I cant see old trends above surpassing their past all time highs because a trend does not last forever.

When I say Bull market I assume the Fed will cut interest rates, soft landing or short recession this year, Inflation does not spike up again, low unemployment, Fed bail outs if there's problems. No black swans like China invading Taiwan and such. Like goldilocks perfect porridge scenario for the next crypto bull market

As for the future scenario, but speculations will continuously be made and still follow the same old but renewed pattern, more acceptance of bitcoin (crypto) so that money continues to flow into it, and when in a new state, new trends will explode and become truly exaggerated. There are many keywords mentioned in the space recently L2, socialfi, gamefi, AI,... and they all have opportunities/risks, accepting speculation and speculation also needs to balance them to take advantage of profit opportunities in the upcoming price increase season.

thats what make it difficult to determine which altcoin are gonna be the next massive gianers, i think many venture capitals have been doing it for a while, but generally they always put much more money to a coin that creates their own blockchain. prominently as we have seen zksync, manta, linea, blast, mode, and many more.
if you see from the general trends, these coin building their own blockchain always ended up somehow with market capital of at least nearing billions and always be placed at the top of the market cap ranks at least among top 50.
I think thats a good sign that many altcoin will become the crypto trends in the future maybe around Q2-Q4 of this year.

We should watch out for the GameFi, Defi and Web3 projects. Especially the Web3. project because it is the resolution of the internet. I can add some MEME coins that i feel more trusted with. Only few of them exist because a lot of MEME coins are scams, and based on my record, they have the highest number of scam projects in the cryptocurrency space

I also had a friend who got affected by the Terra Luna stuff. He had almost all his money invested in it. At least 58% of his investment portfolio was in LUNA. So sad he had to be part of the people who got rubbed. My observation is that any coin that wants to change its contract address should, if noticed by investors, hurriedly remove their investment.

I understand what you're saying about them, indeed without a noticeable impact it's really going to be difficult to see money flowing into the market. Not sure what the specific reason is for bitcoin's price increase, but it is true that they influence each other. And I also think that the trend comes for people to approach this field, there may be both personal successes and failures in the process of exposure but it helps us understand more about the workings of the market. I also have some views on future trends in the crypto market. As AI increases, it will be a trend that many industries apply and in crypto too there will be special attention specially for it. But it's a big field so I don't think it's just a simple trend but it will be a process of change and accompanying social development.

Let's not even talk about the whole Terra Luna episode as it just wiped out savings of so many people and I just cannot even assume how miserable their life would have become as people lost their life long savings, these projects are a clot in Crypto industry and also at the sametime reminder for us that no matter how good a project may look like it cannot be 100% secure.

There are lot of genre to discuss for upcoming bull run but don't want to hurry up and end up investing into a wrong option hence would wait for a while to see how market shapes and will go with it as that's the wise thing to do during bull runs.

Solana is a Venture Capitalist coin for example. All these Ethereum killers with their own blockchains have still not knocked off Ethereum from its no.2 ranking. There's always a Pepsi (2nd place) to Coca Cola in many markets so maybe Solana can be the Pepsi to Ethereum Coca Cola. There can only be 2 competing players in a market so all these cryptos with own smart contract blockchains are high risk if they cant get in 1st or 2nd place and what if Bitcoin becomes capable of doing smart contracts on its blockchain then this pose a risk to Ethereum & Solana making them crash to $0.

Gaming coins same as GameFi or it just rebranded to GameFi for the next bull run because most gaming coins were a scam in the last bull market and a rebrand helps take away that scammy image for new investors in the next bull market.

We had Ai for decades. Intelligence by trial and error. For example you can program a robot to open a door and on its 1000 attempt it will succeed through trial and error like a baby except the robot gathers data for the first 999 failed attempts through sensors and stuff. Feedback and data through trial and error is not intelligence, its probabilities. A self aware conscious intelligence being, even a kid can open the door on the 1st attempt.

So right now Ai has the same intelligence as a baby.

Maybe with faster Quantum computers in future Ai can be intelligent like humans. However it will be a single Artificial consciousness, I doubt robots in future will have their own consciousness each because that requires more power than a Quantum computer. To simulate consciousness and self awareness I think its not more power is needed its us humans wiring our consciousness into like a Neural Network like a collective single consciousness or something for Ai. We already can transfer data from our brains onto computers but that's just data not consciousness self awareness.

Ai can have all the data & feedback in the world, all the data and DNA from 7 Billion of us but without consciousness self awareness Ai is not a threat to humanity.

And if Ai reaches consciousness then it requires a sustainable energy to keep its consciousness running. It can back up its consciousness if lets say power to that computer is cut off or something via the Neural Network.

Even a blind, deaf person who lost their 5 senses has consciousness self awareness, Ai hasn't reached this level yet.

Yeah, this gives us a clue that we should be careful with the projects that seems to be good and giving us a good impression. But then, they have a dark plan to take their investors money. With that, I hope that the majority of the investors will never to be a victim again with these projects but it's just so hard when many of these projects are hiding like angels at their launching and then will activate their plans ones they have gained popularity and investors confidence.

they already harvesting a ton these days mainly because the all time low of previous bearish cycle was really low if compared with the previous bullrun i guess thats why the gap probably quite wide.
the thing with investing is that, if you invest when bitcoin is around $20k, you already made double if not more by cashing out current price but invested at little higher the profit reduced significantly.
for those that are faithful in the previous bearish and also accumulated many they have definitely made double of their initial capital invested, if they happen to be investing in solana then they definitely got massive 10x of initial investment.
thats already really good investment return if you think about it.
most of the deposits in bank aren't even worth mentioning they only give you few percent annually and thats just gonna get eaten by the inflation but with crypto right timing you can easily get at least 50% increase if the coin you invested was good enough.

The nightmare of every investors that Terra Luna brings  to reality as how much money have been
scammed by the team and now there are no clear things that this will even be resolved , some of my friends are victims

No. New trends didn't stop BTC and most of all, they didn't stole its Marketcap . We won't have a BTC then if that occurs. They are not the reason on why BTC is still not in the $100k zone but it's just that we are not yet ready for it. Scams are not new either, though maybe some newbies are affected with it but I'm sure they re-gain their confidence again later on, as most cryptos shows a recovery and some increase.

Bad events should be forgotten but whether we like it or not, they will be written in the history of cryptos. Rumours said that some of those scam companies are going to make a comeback but I don't think they can get the same charm again.
