Hi guys, I personally think that this account @stingers have changed hands, possibly sold to a new user.
And I am suspecting that the user who bought it is @JustineCollins09.

Now, here is my reason for this suspicion

- On the stingers account, last two posts before today, were on 7th of March 2019, and  17th of December, 2023 - notice the gab.

- Today, the stingers account changed email address, and also changed password - which suggest that the account was sold to another user (potentially)

- After the change of email address and password on the account, the user first applied for a position on stakes senior member rank signature campaign, which already ended, before he or she applied, and not to mention this account rank is legendary, not senior - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476992.msg63728078#msg63728078

- Next, he or she then proceed to JustineCollins09 service thread on the gambling board and posted this comment - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5484073.msg63728254#msg63728254 claimed he purchased a newsletter spot from JustineCollins09 and he's satisfied with the package he or she was offered, he is the first to post a testimony on that thread, and without proof, and this raises my suspicion that, it's JustineCollins09 himself operating that stingers account.

Guys, please look into this and tell what you think.

After checking both accounts carefully, I also have same thoughts as you. I guess this is pure case of account selling because if JustineCollins09 was new alt of stingers then he would have never changed the e-mail and password of the account.

I think JustineCollins09 is a pretty naive person because he bought an account with 5 red feedback which someone with even a little bit of sense would avoid doing. Maybe he bought it to get Legendary status on Altcoinstalk after teleportation but other than that I don't think that having such an account would help him in anyway.

Yeah, you are right,  let's assume that my speculation is true, then I would definitely say that I may understand why JustineCollins09 bought the stingers account regardless of the fact that the account have 4 negative tags, he may also have considered the 1 green tag the account has, and also coupled wit the fact that a clean legendary account could cost as high as $2000 to $2500 to purchase, so the fact that this one is with negative tags maybe have made it way more cheaper to purchase, and like you said, teleporting the account on altcoinstalks will likely give him a clean legendary account over there, considering that a user's trust score aren't transfered in the process of teleporting.

All the same., I purposely mentioned the both accounts here, let's see if they come here to defend themselves, and JustineCollins09 prove that stingers isn't an alt he just bought.

If he indeed bought the account, then he sent the money down the drain. Who in their right mind buy an account with 4 negative tags (5 including Lauda'a) some of which contain solid scam accusations and cases of account and trust farming.

I am also wondering, Why is he trying to take chances with the stake signature campaign? Do the stake guys actually hire even accounts with such negs?

That's what I'm also thinking it's a throwaway account it is useless to apply in any signature campaign even on an Altcoins bounty campaign if he's going for a teleportation option on Altcoinstalk this thread will stop his intention, the buyer is naive in buying an account, and on hiding it because he applied on Stake signature campaign which has restrictions on negative feedback.
Because of this thread, the bought account will have more bad feedback and so will the buyer of the account.

Maybe he got scammed trying to get the account, there is a high chance the seller may not review the account name before being sold in order to avoid reviewing it to those impersonating as buyers to burst them and so most of these sellers have become extremely cautious while some may use it as an excuse to scam buyers, after all hr got a legendary account

Thinking of him teleporting the account to altcointalk as somehow dumb since the Campaign managers there are from btt, only few of these will actually get past them since those Campaign managers are OGs here, they know already big names for sure that have their image tarnished here

This is a weird case. People who buy high rank bitcointalk accounts are not new to the forum, I believe they are members who want alts to participate in signature campaigns and bounties. It’s strange that the buyer would miss the negative tags on the @stingers account, there is zero chance that they can monetize the account as campaign managers would not want such an account advertising for their clients. If truly @JustineCollins09 bought the account to give himself credibility on his services, he definitely made a mistake. An account with a poor reputation has no credibility whatsoever to recommend another person.

I've seen members who have negative feedback that is part of stake.com signature campaign but I am not sure if stake.com looks at the severity or the validity of the negative trust. he probably thought that it wouldn't hurt trying to join the campaign since he saw that there are members with a negative trust who were able to join or are still in the campaign.

I remember "stingers": he was the first Merit source to trigger a Merit-rewind from theymos:
Is stingers still a merit source?
Not anymore. That's clear abuse, awarding merit for political reasons rather than any idea of quality. Only because he was a source, I effectively undid those merit sends. If he had not been a merit source, I still would've blacklisted anyone who got into DT1 through that type of shenanigans.

It could be the account got sold, but given the negative feedback he has already, I don't think a new owner matters much.

I believe Stake manager doesn’t consider feedback sold account or spamming if this feedback was given before they join the campaign. They consider only post quality(length of post) when choosing their participants.

This issue was already pointed out many times to their manager but she declined on kicking user that have negative feedback even if the account is clearly sold account that is just purchased to join in their campaign . I think this is what the user thinking when he applies in the campaign.

I wouldn't be so sure. Have you seen legends accounts whose post-histories are dramatically different? Buying high ranks is a common occurrence among beginners—those who think that they are more cunning and “smarter” than others, having “accidentally” found an account sales service. However, according to the history of posts, these people very easily come to light as incompetent for their rank, which subsequently prompts others to check them more carefully.
As for the buyer, he intended to buy an account of a higher rank.

I am also looking for one if it's allowed to sell.

Today we see that he does not write anything on his old account, but the newly purchased account (if it is his) is diligently trying to join all companies, even those with closed signatures.

Well, I can't deny the fact that there are some stake signature campaign participants with negative trust, but I do think that the manager, like any other managers have always considered the reason for the negative trust, before the consider whether to remove the participant or not, since stake campaign managers are more than one person, so, it's always a collective decision for them, if the majority see the negative trust as not important enough, they allow the participant to stay, but if the reason for the negative trust is really bad, they usually remove the participant.

I remember one time when one participant defaulted on a loan, a flag was raised against the user, which earned the user a lot of negative trust, the participant was removed from stake signature campaign as soon the manager(s) took notice of it.

But then, all this isn't what we are even talking about here, since there was no way the account in question was ever going to get accepted, because
1. It's a legendary rank applying in a campaign meant for senior members
2. The campaign already ended and he still went ahead to post an application, which shows the new owner of that account don't read.

If he can't do it, it means the account has changed hands and vice versa, I think that's one of the many pieces of evidence that could lead to the case of the account changing hands.

PM the user, if you don't respond, it means it's been sold/changed hands.

Do the stake guys actually hire even accounts with such negs?
Yeah, there are few big guys with negative feedbacks are participating in Stake campaign. Cool

Did you mean this post? yes the post gets deleted, either by himself or the moderators. Here's the post https://ninjastic.space/post/63728254

Some users started to archive every post in this forum, so you can find any deleted post easily since 2020 - now.

and posted this comment - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5484073.msg63728254#msg63728254 claimed he purchased a newsletter spot from JustineCollins09 and he's satisfied with the package he or she was offered, he is the first to post a testimony on that thread, and without proof, and this raises my suspicion that, it's JustineCollins09 himself operating that stingers account.

The user in question was never accepted in the stake campaign because he applied after that campaign had ended. Also, there is no need to blame any particular campaign if he applied there as the campaign never accepted him.

If you see his profile, he is applying and trying his luck in almost every campaign but ofcourse the campaign managers will only select the persons based on certain criteria.

PM the user, if you don't respond, it means it's been sold/changed hands.

From what you and Lovesmayfamilis is saying I can assumed that the account has been sold out and then again from the account login history, this user has been changing and resting password almost every single year.. I don't know how dumb or the kind of memory s/he has to be changing password twice in a year.

Although this doesn't show any proof but I believe @JustineCollins09 is either the 3rd operator. A well reasonable member who grows from newbies to Legendary can never carry out that operation.
