Generally, I don't think anyone should be wasting their time looking for merit abuse alone. If the merit abuse also exposes a cheater of some sort(besides the merits), then it might be worth exposing. Most of these people are just trying to rank up accounts fast so they can join a sig campaign.
I agree completely. Merit distribution is very subjective; we've had members send huge chunks of merits for a joke the found funny or a witty comment;that's subjective to them, and is their definition of quality, warranting the huge merit drop. Others may not agree with them, cause perspectives differ.
When you dig deeper and notice merit cycling about, it obviously raises more suspicion, but isn't still enough to warrant an investigation. Merits are meant to be spent, better being spent any way, than with the tons of accoj ts that never send any of their smerits.
