Hello guys, I am doing this post because I want to protect other people from being scammed.

solanamix.com is a scam. Be very careful.
Must be a pretty new site as their are no reviews yet.

Site looks pretty legit and they even tricked me. Someone who is pretty experienced with Crypto.

The first two little transfers of 1 SOL they send back in no time mixed as promised.
As I send a bigger transaction of 10 SOL - yeah right- nothing happened.

Sent about 5 email already and since then it been 48 hrs.

Do not use this service. You will get scammed.

Just because it looks legit doesn't mean it's legit. You should have consulted around first before using it.

I assume using google, i tried searching "solana mixer" and there's 2 mixer shows at the top including the site OP mentioned.

Seriously though, why you use an unknown mixer for solana, there are dex for solana which can provide more in privacy.

I am since long time in crypto and I know you need to be very careful. So this are scammers of the pro sort.
I was researching first as well, are their any negative comments, scam reviews etc. There wasn't.

You could have used some decentralized exchanges and exchanged them with two pairs, you could have achieved your goal as well. To be honest, I have also never seen someone use mixers for altcoins. If you use exchanges, just convert it to a privacy coin like XMR and then exchange it again to Solana and you should be done. Using such a random mixer website from a Google search is not safe at all. If you get a link trusted source, you may use it after doing some research.

It would also be helpful if you could tell us where did you hear about this website.
Never blindly trust search engines when you are looking for something., this is the biggest reasons of people getting on phishing websites.

I've used some keywords and surprisingly they are shown at the top either first or second result. I know that this website may not be as reliable as the others but scamadviser tells some good factors about this website for being risky;

• Several, mainly negative reviews were found for this site
• We could not analyze the content of the site

I do not use the Solana network much, but I have not come across any well-known and reliable Sona mixer in the search engine yet, and perhaps the idea of a mixer does not work with Solana. They sent you back 1 SOL to gain your trust and prompt you to make a larger deposit, which is typically what greedy scammers do with their victims. I have been in campaign management from long time and managed many campaigns for mixers but all of them were Bitcoin mixers. I am not aware of any SOL mixers or I could recommend you some. This is one of the reasons mixers needs to focus on advertising so that clients can see them active in advertising for long time and build the customer confidence. If it was a mixer advertising on forums then you would not need to search online and fall victim of a scam. Unfortunate.

they are selective scammers as it is allowed to mix currencies that have a relatively low balance and scam transactions that have a higher balance. Overall, you will have a mixer with a lot of positive reviews and few scam cases but with large amounts.
Whether they are scammers or selective scammers, in the end the site will be closed and everyone will lose their coins, so do not use any service that has clear scam cases.
