Hi there,

I would like to know what the people of Bitcointalk recommend as the best DEX to sell bitcoin for fiat? I want to avoid all CEXes.
I know about Bisq but dont want it cause it requires the traders to be online most of the time during the exchange.
Some friends have suggested Peach Bitcoin. Anyone here using it? What are your thoughts? Is their enough trades and liquidity for big deals?

Can you recommend something else that you have personally tested and where the fees are acceptable?

Thanks in advance.

Peach Bitcoin is legit they have an official thread here on the forum you can check it from this link below

You can try out AgoraDesk, it is easy to use and you should have no problems trading privately there. As for the fees, AgoraDesk charges 0% fees for takers and 1% for makers, so if you are not going to make any order or offers, you would not pay any fees. However, withdrawing BTC from the exchange to your own wallet is via an on chain tx and the fee is dependent on the congestion of the network at that time.

Only Bisq is trully decentralized exchange., but you can use other p2p and centralized exchanges just fine, for example Robosats (with lightning), Peach Bitcoin (mobile in EU), Agoradesk, HodlHodl.
If you want to save on fees Robosats is probably best option available right now with LN:

Robosats sounds extremely interesting.  Have you ever used it?  I thought this was a Crypto to Crypto instant Exchange but it looks like it offers Fiat Exchanges?  Interesting.

Can you recommend something else that you have personally tested and where the fees are acceptable?

All bank accounts and financial applications are centralized and KYC-intensive. If your bank account blocks Bitcoin, receiving international transfers or in a large amounts from accounts that are not linked to place will raise suspicions. Therefore, there is no difference between using CEXes or DEX, and perhaps if your bank is CryptoFriendly, then using CEX is better.

I personally prefer to search for the second party in any of the P2P services (binance, twitter, facebook, etc.) and tell him to use Bisq, carry out periodic transactions with him, which is much better than making those transactions with new people every time.

Thank you BitMaxz for your suggestions! Isn't Robosats only for bitcoin on the lightning network and not normal bitcoin?
Thank you everyone else for trying to help.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I have one more question. What are your recommendations for DEXs for crypto to crypto exchanges and swaps between different stablecoins? There should be no KYC or chance of fund freezing.

This link that was shared earlier contains all you need about p2p exchanges, and you just have to pick from one of the exchanges there: https://kycnot.me/?t=exchange

For swap exchanges, eXch.cx is a recommended option, and they have the usdt, usdc and dai option for stablecoins, however if you want to swap from BTC to Monero, Unstoppable Swap is also a recommended option.

Bestchange[1] provides you with a service to search for crypto exchanges that exchange BTC ---> altcoin, comparing them in terms of prices, reliability, and no KYC identity. Use it to find exchanges for small transfers and only use exchanges with a lot of reviews for large amounts.

For swap exchanges, eXch.cx is a recommended option, and they have the usdt, usdc and dai option for stablecoins, however if you want to swap from BTC to Monero, Unstoppable Swap is also a recommended option.

eXch.cx is still a centralized option, but it is good for those who want to exchange Bitcoin to stablecoins, Ethereum, and Monero.

eXch.cx is still a centralized option, but it is good for those who want to exchange Bitcoin to stablecoins, Ethereum, and Monero.
It is only centralized in that the exchange controls the key to the one-time input address during the swap, other than that, there is zero kyc, no registration and you can also connect to the exchange through Tor, using their onion address. So i think if op wants to use an automated crypto swap exchange, eXch.cx is very recommended.
