Can someone please tell me what is happening in SportBet.one topic?
Is it a spam or something else?

There are many newbie members talking to each other starting from February 26 and this post:

All members are with generic names, and it appears they are paid to write short one line sentences:

Definitely a hired bumping service. Very lame. Could even be this one, which has been known for engaging in the exact same tactics for years. I will take some time to look at the accounts in a bit, wouldn't be surprised if they're connected to other accounts that are engaged in coordinated shilling.

All of them are woke up from a long period of inactivity, three of them e.g. MercerAlex, Krypt0nite, and littlEOwl are Russians and their last posts were in 2019, then woke up in 2024 and post in sportbet.one thread.

I agree with nutildah, it's nothing less than bumping service/shills agency. I've reported the post, hope the moderators will take an action.

That was my thought exactly when I saw the thread, that its most likely Vitor Services behind it.

Indeed they are. Few of them (littlEOwl, MercerAlex, Krypt0nite)  were doing the exactly same thing in Биpжa iExchange [Oфициaльный тoпик] ANN thread few years ago and I woulnd't be surprised if they wake up more accounts that used to be active in that thread.


@OP best course of action when you see something like this is to report their posts and eventually tag them for shilling (even though in that case they usually just ditch those accounts and start using new ones).

Good suggestion but I don't think that moderators will care much about deleting such posts especially when those are in gambling board. Tagging such users will also not be much fruitful because they aren't here to enroll in signature campaigns, their main role is just shilling the threads and they can do that even if they get 20 negative feedbacks. If I'm not wrong then such scammers who get paid for shilling may already have 100's of newbie rank accounts which they can use to shill the threads.

Of course they will, if you prove that they are all part of the same bumping group (which is pretty obvious in this case).

I (and many others) reported thousands of such posts and in 99.99% of the cases they got deleted so I have no idea on what you base your opinion.

What makes you think that? Reporting spammy or irrelevant posts, even in the gambling board, is the right thing to do. While moderators might have some flexibility depending on the specific gambling topics, they generally delete this kind of useless crap all the time.

All accounts have been destroyed. I think that SamReomo has not made a single attempt to report such shilling accounts, so it simply assumes and does not claim.
Although sending a report to moderators is a matter of minutes, users must allocate time. Those who are tormented by the question of bringing value to the forum can do this from time to time.
Yes, most likely this farm has a lot of other accounts, but there are more good users on the forum, so together we can prevent such behavior.

Companies should pay attention and do some research before engaging in shilling with newbies. Nobody really pays attention to newbie accounts when they bump a services thread with useless spam comments such as great company, excellent service, I deposited blah blah and wd no problem. If you don't have the funds to start a signature campaign, it's ok, there are still ways for you to get some traffic in your thread or a thread about your service. You can host a giveaway or review on a small budget and people will gladly participate. Hiring a shilling service that uses newbie accounts or controlling them yourself makes people want to avoid the service IMO.

Ah well, there is another group of names that will get tagged for being so obvious in their for-hire-bump-service. If any entity employs bumping services it will eventually become apparent therefore it should never have been considered in the first place. I will follow suit when I have time and will tag the accounts because they have zero legitimacy.

I have reported those posts myself and I hope that they may get deleted soon by the moderators. In my report I referred those posts as part of a bumping group, but the main point is that as long as such accounts aren't banned they'll continue shilling threads like this because they are being paid for shilling.

There are so many posts of similar nature in gambling board, and many people consider most posts in those boards as spamming. That's why it would be a really tough job for moderators to handle huge volume of reports that they get from gambling board. That's the main reason why I said those words in my post.

But, I have reported those bumping/shilling posts myself and hope that soon they might get deleted. I think it would be much better if of us should report such posts together, that way moderators can easily find that if a post is getting reported by many members then such post should be deleted for the betterment of the forum.

They will. Unless you have proof that said otherwise. Like said by several other members above, we've reported several in the past, and they got their post removed.


I happened to have a post or two on their thread in the past and thus their thread appeared on my "show new replies" page. I took a glance yesterday when only two of those shillers made their posts on the thread and decided to leave the thread unopened for a while until an organic discussion re-appear. It seems the marketing team made a poor decision and it back-fired, putting them in a spotlight in a negative way and discouraging other, more serious, people from engaging into the discussion.

Even if they get banned they will just get the new ones and will continue with their business as usual but, but reporting is not in vain as more than once those who hired such services cancelled them when they realize that their posts are constantly being deleted. Those who hire them probably no nothing about how this forum works and "marketing agencies" like Vitor Services are exploiting their ignorance. In the end it feels like scammers scamming other shady businesses so there's some sort of justice in all this.

I agree with whatever you said, but those people can get smarter when get paid for the task, I'm sure they might use Human Psychology to convince their clients that even if most of their posts get deleted, they will still shill the thread from new accounts.

"Those shilling services" have their own farm, mostly low ranked, either newbie or Jr., as it became difficult to get to higher rank with the merit system being introduced. They're quite unlikely to buy a high ranked account. There are members who paid attention to changes in posting habit. A high ranked account who suddenly post shills are very likely get caught and rendered useless with tag [some even probably got banned], I am quite sure that is not a risk those shilling services are willing to take; paying so high for a high profile only for several post before it rendered useless.

the casino didn't get much attention despite their age. marketing a sports betting platform is very challenging but hiring a bumping service is making their reputation bad instead.

Sportsbet.one has been around this forum for a while, they should have known already that services like this don't work in the forum.

I had reported around 150 shilling posts of Bets.io casino and Betzus casino ANN thread, all those posts had been deleted by moderators.

Than you everyone for support and all your help, fighting spam is not always easy task.
I see most of the spam posts got reported to moderators, than thy got deleted, and I think some of the members I mentioned are now banned.
Issue is now resolved but I will continue observing what is happening in gambling board.

That's a great contribution mate - if I had been there more often, it would have been possible for me to report more.
There are a lot of shillers who post one-line reviews about certain casinos – but I'm not sure if they get paid or not. It is always recommended to report their posts to moderators although sometimes you have to set aside special time to do so.
