Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets

Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?

Funny thing is I do have several sports of this nature I bet on but never get to watch these sports ...but because I have some knowledge on how they are played I think I can get away with it as I check head to heads and past performance which gives me the edge on them and the math does add up, but I wouldn't advise someone else to do this as this could be betting blindly.

Although my case is different, maybe this will count: Betting on a different league that I don't follow but is still under my favorite sports.

To make it clear, for example, I always bet on basketball as my preferred sport, usually in the NBA and our local basketball league, PBA. But sometimes, when I'm feeling it, extending my betting to other basketball leagues which is not familiar to me, and my knowledge is lacking, like CBA, NCAA, NBL any other basketball league from different countries that was covered by the sportsbook.

My winning rate placing bets from unfamiliar leagues? Not good.

This NCAA league is one of my favorites btw, eye balling the rate at which baskets are made boom you have an average and can predict average totals being over or under... among those I don't watch but enjoy.

Most of the time I place bets on football but never watch the games. To be more specific, I place bets on the Premier League because of the promotions. I never watch football games because for me it's kind of boring and football isn't popular in my country. Most of the casinos have great promotions when it comes to that tournament (the Premier League); even if you look at BitcoinTalk's game and round section most of the contests are about the Premier League. Also, most of the popular gambling websites are sponsored by some of the teams in the Premier League. Thats encourage me to place bet but never watch the game.

90 percent of people who gamble always football and I don't think any other sport has the kind of attention that football comes with, me personally I bet in all leagues depending on who is playing when I see some clubs playing I have full assurance of there winning, I only bet once on basketball and I did not enjoy it so I continued with the football being used to, and since my gambling is always based on who is playing, I don't gamble a lot because am trying to avoid the bad habit of turning into an addict, it is only when you watch football that you can enjoy making bet on a particular club because assumption won't help you alone, you need to also know what a particular club is up to. football is not boring I think basketball is boring still finding it difficult to understand that shit. when it comes to sports betting premier league and Champions League draw a lot of attention.  people bet a lot on does leagues. and you will see some casinos even do a kind of collaborate with like Premier League and others.

Aside football as a sport which I love watching and love betting on another sport I like is the Olympics. I watch quit a lot but I've never thought of checking any sports book to know if they have bets for them. If we consider the WWE as a sports the that is another sports betting I'll like to do someday. I discovered that I am knowledgeable about the players. I should give it a try sometime.

yes, most of the time I also bet on tennis without watching the match...the only sport that I really can't bet in this way... are horse races! I must say that compared to classic bookmakers, crypto-bookmakers offer different options for following live matches.

Actually I’m looking forward on comment about betting on sports that you literally don’t know the full details of the game/specification. It’s more on betting blindly like betting on dice which you didn’t know how they will get the result but this time do it on sports.

I rarely bet blindly and I could even remember the last time I did or the sport I picked. Maybe I'll do it again with cricket since I don't fully understand the rules in that sport.

As far as watching every game I bet on live then that's not possible for me since I have other things to do. Sometimes it's also played at a time when I have to rest so I just check the results later. If I'm to pick which one I watch the least then I would have to say maybe F1.

i don't really know how possible this is... How else I'm i supposed to make some speculations assuming i wanna wager on them ??  Let's say this is about soccer and their divisions, i can as well wager on any other type of division based off of their recorded performances, i don't really have to watch them play. Aside that, wagering on sports you've got no idea about is just as good as being scammed of those funds.

I don't think I've ever done that, because the purpose of the bets I make is just to increase my enthusiasm and excitement in watching a sporting match, and the sport I like the most is football.

I don't like watching all games live on TV or live streaming. There are some games that I try to watch when I have free time and most of the time I use websites that provide scores for those games. But I don't see any live streaming site for table tennis games. But when there is a good football or cricket match, I try to watch the live match whenever I get time. Watching the live games while betting gives me some excitement that I don't get at other times. I try to watch live streaming of those games especially when I have big bets. But I don't have the opportunity to watch live games in most of my bets. I place bets before analyzing various data related to the players' condition in that game prior to their wins and losses and then try to know the betting conditions of the game by looking at the score.

Definitely yes!! Same here, because here in our country, there is a season where the bet is strong in what we call gambling "ending" That is a lengthwise card with a numbers written on it. It is related to the game of basketball and you can bet on any numbers that do you think it will be the last game result of the two teams that will play. Actually I don't like to watch basketball, the only reason I bet is because my friends and relatives at home like to watch basketball games and most of them bet on the ending. It's also fun to do especially since I have no idea about the possible final score of the two teams, you can bet on any number and any person who is offered ending cards as long as you can manage the money you put in there, there are as many prizes there, it can be a cash and can also be gadgets.

I don't derive the level of enjoyment or get that feeling of satisfaction in terms of being entertained while watching any other sports game except for football, any other sports I watch could just be for formalities or kill time and for that my interest in betting on them doesn't really trigger that much as I can't particularly remember the last time I did so in my bets history.

However, I do place bets on many football leagues that I don't even watch their league matches but only that I have hints on how those leagues have been progressing and the team's that are in good form, through listening of football news and analysis of previous matches in the different lmajor and minor leagues.

If I don't have an idea about a particular sport I don't bother betting on it, it's not about trying luck for me it's about putting luck and idea together in test believing I have a better chance of winning when the two goes together than when it's just luck alone by me betting on a sport game I am ignorant about their events or specifies.

I like to watch racing like horserace or dog race, so sometimes I could just bet on it without actually knowing so much about them but just because of the speed that I enjoy to watch I could just ask a friend to bet on them. Apart from games I'm not really use to, it is not necessary to bet on football matches that you can predict the outcome. I have played such Game countless times, but I play such games when I copy a random prediction code online. I have several prediction site on my telegram, where I pick a code which has been booked and I will place the bet. Most of them are tennis, boxing,  NBA and football. In most of those matches I don't really study them but I just go ahead and place the bet, most at times I win and also loose sometimes. The fact remains that gambling is just gambling. Isnt it called reckless gambling, when you are not familiar with the sport, and you blindly follow and bet like others do? Especially when you dont watch the game. For example I am not familiar with cricket at all. I just know that one guys must hit the ball little wooden logs, and the other guy must protect it. I would never place a bet on the game and dont watch it. What if on the last second my winning bet turns into draw and I would miss chance to cashout and at least try to save a bit of money?

Many times I placed a bet but I didn't see the match. Some reasons are due to broadcast time and health condition. Often EPL and UCL matches are broadcast at 1 or 2 pm here. It's really beyond my ability to watch it because sometimes I have things to do in the morning.

Usually I reduce the bet amount for these matches that I don't see.

Although I understand your point that its purely done for the thrill and for fun, but personally I do not engage in what I do not understand. If I must bet on another sport, then I would have to be a fan of it, or at least understand its modulus operandi, so it will at least look sane to me.

I love being able to analyze my games well before placing the bets and weighing my options properly, in as much as I play tennis seldomly, and I always enjoyed it right from time, It has never crossed my mind to even bet on it, like in my mind, it doesn't even exist in the bookies. I think the common scenario for many players is the same. At first, a new player is too careful about every bet, watches the game, analyzes carefully and thinks through the strategy. I don't actually bet on sports that I don't watch since its like it decreasing my chances to win and a waste of money spend on bets that I'm not familiar with. Usually I go only on sports I know since by knowing the team it give me more confidence to get a win and earn some decent rewards also enjoyment for watching how the game end up.

Maybe we have different likes and opinion regarding on this since there are people just want to test out their luck and bet on sports that they are not familiar then see how it works for them. This applicable only for people which have a lot of balance since they can easily recover. But for people have low budget they better choose only the sport they know so can make sure to enjoy whatever result will show to us.
