Yesterday there was much excitement twitter about Portal airdrop with multiple platforms like Binance, Bitget,L bank listing. I wasn't lucky to participate hence I feel the need to ask. Anyone that got the airdop here, was the stress worth it?maybe this could be a motivator to take these airdrop quest serious

I didn't get the PORTAL Airdrop, but I bought it when it was listed on the market. Now the price has decreased by 10% and to be honest I didn't know that PORTAL had an airdrop. I have stopped trying airdrops because in the past many airdrop projects failed and I have spent a lot of my ETH. But right now I'm trying out some airdrops and I noticed the current airdrops aren't really free. Btw how do people get the PORTAL airdrop? Was this notified in groups or social media?

Fortunately, I am also one of the people who receive joy from Portal, perhaps partly because the participation is so small for such a large new reward.

But the truth must be expressed that spending gas to claim tokens actually causes many people to give up if the reward is low. I see most of those who have been with it since day one have earned at least >$1000. Those are really easy jobs with social network interaction tasks, but in a space full of waste, we still have bright projects.

I was never aware about this airdrop and if I was aware I wouldn't have participated because I have been seeing the way many airdrops especially the suspicious ones are trying to scam users of there funds. This may be a good one out of the thousands airdrops that are in the crypto space attracting users to participate with the promise of trying to make them get more funds from it.
It is good we dyor before putting our money in any airdrop or project.

Airdrops sometimes can be very profitable if we are lucky to be the winner.  However, throughout my journey, I have never had luck in every airdrop program that I have join in.  sometimes I only get a small payout and sometimes even just got worthless tokens.  But I think this is worthy because the work is very easy.  Maybe I haven't been lucky enough to be the best, but I will continue to participate in various airdrops and hope that one day I can become a winner.  I think why winning an airdrop is very difficult because there are too many participants so the chance of winning is small.  Has anyone here ever been a winner and could you possibly share the tricks you used to become a winner? Please tell me about it. I will very appreciate it.

I got mine but it's just $11 and I am happy with that already. I have seen people get as much as $100 up to $100k. I think that figure is right when I've seen it and that guy has just been so happy that it was his lottery airdrop and didn't expected it to be like that big.

Those that have taken hundreds to thousands of bucks of it probably done very well and a lot of things for them to have that amount of reward from this project. Once you got it, start selling it and make sure that you're not going to make any mistake with that money you've earned there.

I am happy when people are happy with their rewards and this is a clear sign that we're in the bull run because not every time these airdrops are going to be like this rewarding. Because when we're back to the bear market, it's like 1 out of 20 airdrops are gonna be successful.

Well my friends or co crypto friends got them and they didnt expect its worth especially when they saw the Binancr announcement and they just did some task continously on twitter. I think thats gotta be a good result for some but other project sometimes become a nuissance.

Most times these airdrops has to do with random luck. I actually participated but for some reasons had challenges receiving my deposit on Binance. I don't know if it was only me facing the issue but was fortunate to deposit the remaining 580 PORTAL to Bitget. I wish I had access to my hanging deposit and some cash to buy and make more deposit to Bitget and take in the ongoing PORTAL airdrop campaign via their Candybomb product.

It's about luck and doing the right thing. Moving forward, I hope I'm lucky with future drops because I'm already farming others potential airdrops ..Regarding the deposit issue on Binance for portal, some of my buddies had the same issue. Well, it's good that other platforms are available, like the one you speak of. I'm also curious about this Candybomb opportunity you mentioned. Is the campaign still ongoing?

I have just noticed their airdrop and whole project, so I didn't join or get anything from the airdrop. However, I see much potential for this project to be successful, maybe a chance for many people who missed the airdrop to join the bullish trend regardless the price falling from 4$ just after launching to around 2$ trading on binance now and this is because of many people sold their tokens given on airdrop or presale.

Airdrops like this one are very profitable when the project is something very interesting, new to the market and collaborate with famous other project or services, which leads to a very big popularity, higher marketcap and automatically bigger price for the coin.

 Yes even one of my friend participated and he got about 100$ from the airdrop and he asked me to join to share the link but I did not be because I don't trust those things. And he said he moved the airdrop to Trustwallet and he need some funds to pay for the transaction fee and I told him that he should count me out from anything concerning airdrop because most of the airdrop are from scammers and they look like Ponzi Scheme for me . But I don't know if the one I am talking about is the same one with your own.

Well some people make enough money from Airdrop but you must participate in a good project and you fall for the wrong one then you will not be paid. Be careful with airdrops.

I am not aware of this airdrop that you are talking about but I can say one thing that there are many airdrops that lead people to make good money but there are many sites that cheat people but binance, bitgate, LBank's twitter account can be seen when going tMany airdrops.I joined them many times but my luck was so bad that I didn't get randomly selected and failed to earn some amount of money but these are really good.

Those who make good amounts of money probably risk more money as well and then do lots of effort but it's nice to know that all of it are not wasted and are worth it. If your capacity is not like them, you shouldn't be jealous but if you want to, you can also try to be like them and who knows?

You might get lucky as well and hit the lottery. Airdrops are so popular now in which a lot of people are participating on it. This is one of the factors that lessens our chances to win on them. If you want something surer, try bounty campaigns here in the forum because there are managers that accepts us and record our work. You will surely get paid as long as the project is legit and you have done your work correctly.

Most of the airdrops I've participated in haven't been lucky for me. I don't know why, but my Metamask wallet always seems to be ineligible. Airdrops are often hit or miss experience for numerous participants , however I believe success is not often solely based on luck, but largely depends on the activity of wallet. If your wallet is not actively used for participating in various decentralized applications (dApps) to interact for swapping, providing liquidity or staking tokens, your chances of being selected for airdrops may decrease. Some airdrops may have geographical restrictions based on regulatory compliance, therefor make sure your are eligible based on your location.

There are other factors those are crucial for being eligible, such as holding tokens, KYC verification and timing of the snapshot.

In summary, in order to increase chances of receiving airdrops, engage with bloc chain communities, explore dApps, and stay informed about upcoming projects.

     I've never experienced that, but it's a shame I didn't know that right away. But there may still be opportunities on the aforementioned exchange platforms. Even though I have never experienced airdrops, I have received rewards.

     Well, somehow, I hope I can experience that. All I know is that I saw an airdrops platform where I might experience rewards from those listed on that platform. I'm just looking for a legitimate one; that's all I'm doing right now.

Congratulations to people that get the airdrop rewards, this is what airdrops and bounties bring sometimes, but I think this is just once in a while because so many projects are not using bounties and airdrops to do their advert because of how scammers are used to them, and that is why bounties and airdrops are not getting too much attention like it used to have. Nevertheless, I see some good airdrops this days that is given good reward because the projects have potential and will likely do well during this bull run.

hmm no but i saw lots of people get various amounts of airdrops which some of them amounting to a hundred dollars people are happy about this yes good for them that they have received lots of airdrops but the real question is whether the value of this project will increase or not?

airdrops is only the first step and there are still a lot for others to do in order to say that they have become successful they would still need to wait if the project was worth it and then do what is proper once the value increases

Don't be sad because you are not alone, I am also not eligible for the airdrop portal. No need to think too much about it because there are still many other potential airdrops. Indeed not everyone who participates in the airdrop can be eligible because currently there are a lot of people participating in the airdrop. so maybe the team applies a random system to determine who is eligible for the airdrop. So keep trying to maintain your chances of getting "eligible".
