Has anyone used Mullvad to access gambling websites nowadays? I feel like my speed has gone down significantly in the last few days or so even though I've changed servers many times. Not sure if this is exclusive to gambling websites or not since I can't reproduce it consistently, which is a bit weird considering nothing changed on my end. My ISP also shows no signs of problems, although I'm not confident with their stats at all.
I understand that some casinos may set the connection speed to slow down in cases where the client is accessing via a VPN. But to slow down the VPN, of course, the sites responding to you can use other methods, for example, slowing down or completely denying access to both your communication service provider and the input filters of the site itself where you want to enter. So the reason can be varied. By the way, I would like to read in this topic about real cases of users of gambling sites and online casinos when they had difficulties using a VPN. Especially, of course, if this somehow significantly influenced the most important issue for any player about withdrawing the money they have won to their wallet.

Would it be possible to try it without VPN so you can compare the speeds? or with another VPN if not possible-- for instance, I've gotten decent speeds even with windscribe free servers in the past. i used to play on stake.com with vpn it worked
Keep in mind that playing with a VPN in stake.com is against their terms of service. In general, VPNs can be a hit or miss and there are def cases of players getting away with it despite being prohibited in a particular platform though personally, I'd rather not risk it as it's likely there are repercussion/s once caught unless you can bear such risk.

Well, you've already added the first question I would have asked you which is about the ISP you are using, it could be problematic at times with no definitive suspicion to the issue, still, I urge you to observe it for more days to be able to conclude on it. The second question is whether you've tested the same internet connection and VPN on similar platforms like the casino. Because, at times, some programs behave differently on our gadgets in relation to some platforms, especially when we just upgraded them. Lastly, you might want to contact your VPN provider and/or casino if the issue persists after several efforts to resolve it. I am sure they will have one or two to say. In my view though, I don't think casinos will deliberately slow down your VPN, they will rather warn you or block the account if they do not allow it.

Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about starting a website that talks about crypto casinos, and I need your help to pick the best ones. I want to focus on casinos that are safe and reliable, so my site doesn't end up recommending bad ones. I plan to write honest reviews and also share what other people say online, kind of like how old blogs used to do where it mattered what people thought about a site instead of taking dirty money from scam projects.
Can you suggest some crypto casinos that are okay with using VPNs?
It's a plus if they're cool with KYC stuff or even better if they are NO KYC.
Also, if you've ever taken money out from these places, please tell me how long it took. It's annoying when sites say INSTANT WITHDRAWAL, but then the casino's support says it might take up to 12 hours.
Creating a website dedicated to crypto casinos is a great idea, and it's important that you want to focus on safe and reliable platforms. When it comes to choosing these casinos, it's best to do your own research and thoroughly test different options.

But in the recent times, it isn't noticeable as far as day to day browsing is concerned provided you're with a good provider. At least, that's what my experience is from using a VPN. Sometimes, ISPs throttle our connection as well --boo!!-- hence I typically use a VPN to get a speed boost whenever I have to download big files as I wouldn't wanna wait till the sun sets lol.

Am getting to know recently that use of VPN is not completely I tended for commiting evil, only the few ones who have always been taking decisions on their self to use it for their own personal and selfish interests will guide against their selves and use it the proper way and for the right thing to do, we should know this as the use of VPN shouldn't be on a bad motive to harm others.

Seems like it's back to normal for now. I didn't ask them yet but it's probably a temporary problem with their servers or DNS resolver. They do have options to block gambling websites but I don't think it slow down access for websites even if we don't activate it. My ISP do block gambling websites so that's that. I believe Mullvad will be transparent if they changed anything so I'll try to see if anything changes in the near future.

Sites have to have the right resources to accept VPN traffic and somehow understand this is more expensive and has to make business sense. Well, of course, such IP anonymity requires significantly more network resources to implement it compared to direct access to a certain site from your real IP. Sometimes this slowdown has a completely insignificant effect on the process of packet transmission and the player may not even notice the slowdown in a real game. This, as I understand it, makes it possible to use a VPN even in games that require fairly quick player reactions. But as I understand it, we are talking about a significant slowdown that affects the game, and maybe even prevents it from being played normally. This is of course a problem. And most likely, many free, or even sometimes paid VPNs, are often simply not able to speed up the exchange with their technical means to a level acceptable to the given player.

Bad use of VPN in gambling is usually to bypass prohibited areas in a casino or when you want to create multiple accounts to get promos like free spins, but if it's just for privacy I don't think it's a bad thing because basically we want privacy, and also the use of VPN to bypass blocks from ISPs that are often faced by players whose countries are very strict about online gambling, the country is not listed as banned but players cannot access it except with a VPN.

I don't advise VPN usage at all unless the casino permits it and if you have evidence showing that they allowed you to use it. Many sites usually use VPNs as a way to avoid paying out legit gamblers and Stake ain't no exception. Also, the information that they ask for when discussing about VPN usage varies from person to person basically.

Also, the information that they ask for when discussing about VPN usage varies from person to person basically. Ive never used VPN to play on stake, but alot of other gamblers have testified that it's absolutely safe to use VPN on the casino, I haven't really gone into thorough reading of their terms and conditions to fully understand why their stand is on VPN usage, but since people who have used it tend to assure that it's safe, then I want to believe its safe. We should understand that using VPN for any other reason aside from trying to bypass a restriction is actually safe with some online gambling casinos. Normally, what the casino management will do after a good winning and requesting withdrawal, will be to ask the gambler to submit his ID for kyc verification, the the gambler does, and the casino management can confirm that he or she is playing from a country that they have not banned and restricted, then kyc will be verified and the gamblers withdrawal request will be processed, but if it's the other way round, then rest assured that the gambler have gotten him or herself into a serious problem.

Oh, really??? That must have been luck played in your favour. Casinos frown so much on the use of VPNs and even if you are gambling with one account, some VPNs would put you in trouble and your casino might think you are using multiple accounts since the IPs might be matching with other gamblers' IPs elsewhere. This is why VPN is so discouraging to use especially if it is the free or cheap ones. Yours might be the uncommon or new VPN with solid strength and reliability. I still urge you to rethink this before it costs you. Nothing is better than using one's local IP with casinos.

Some people prefer VPN or privacy focused browsers like brave or mullvad which have VPN built in, not because they want to cheat but because they want to protect their privacy. And I don't see anything wrong with them protecting their privacy because as we all know how dangerous the online world is. So I don't think it's fair that casinos don't allow or don't want you to use a VPN. Personally, I like to use VPN all the time not just for gambling and I feel safer doing so. By the way, I just tried accessing stake with VPN and I don't see any problem, I don't think they ban players from using VPN.

Is this true? Because according to some IT experts, using VPN can also significantly increase internet connection speed when the internet is interrupted. I myself have experienced this situation many times whenever the internet in my country has problems. I have used VPN like Express, and Nord and connected to recommended servers and it gives a better browsing experience. I have not tried using VPN for gambling sites but I have found that VPN does not always slow down our connection. Also, I think the VPN service we choose will also affect the internet speed.

It depends, most of the time VPN is just use to hide your identity or simply do an anonymous browsing by using different IP. I’m not how can VPN increase the speed if the internet source itself has a capped speed on your country. The only time I experienced that VPN increased my browsing speed is when it bypassed the speed limit set by the ISP provider but in general the speed is already there, the ISP is just capping it on some internet promo. So I’m not if VPN can bypass an original slow speed internet.

It seems that it cannot help to bypass slow Internet if your gadget, mobile phone or laptop itself shows that you have a slow connection speed to the network. I have never encountered such a situation when using a VPN would significantly increase the connection speed. But slowdown is certainly possible, but it is usually not very large.

Wait, what? How in the heck are VPNs increasing your internet speed and which IT experts said that? VPNs generally slow down your internet speed by a good deal which is a necessary sacrifice to bypass restricted sites. My internet speed is around 300 Mbps while VPNs usually reduce that speed to around 30-50 Mbps based on my observations.
