Well, hiring a lawyer to sue a company registered in Curaçao is probably going to cost him a lot more than that $500. Although I don't know if it was a class action and they shared the costs, it would be cheaper for them.
Any lawsuit will be expensive even a class action case. I remember we plan to do this on one of the scam companies we invested during the ICO season last 2017. Some users invested around 10k and above but we failed to pursue since the cost is too much to file a case on a company located which most of us is far away.
We try to find a pro bono lawyer but no one wants to accept our case since a scam case against not global well known companies is a waste of time.
@Thequin last online was May 5 which means he already saw the issue here. They are confirmed ignoring the issue posted here.
There is no doubt things are going worst for this site in last few months with @TheQuin is also ignoring due to having break from here but still if he is looking he needs to give proper reply about this all which can bring things under well control, but we are having nothing from him.
But I am positive as he sorted our few cases few weeks back he will be done this as well in near future, but they also need to have some proper check which will help to increase confidence of community, and also we will be able to have things well organized @wetsuit is also not active here with last appearance on November 2023 and last post back 2018.
