Recently I have noticed that the pyzzle page https://privatekeys.pw/puzzles/bitcoin-puzzle-tx have changed a bit.
It now has the solved PrivateKeys removed and also now missing solved key's percentage range where they were found.

For the solved puzzles they only now have Public Keys instead of private keys in column: Private Key / Public Key (HEX)

Not sure if there is areason to remove them?  Huh any ideas?

Puzzles are fun, the difficult it is, the more interesting the puzzle, but there are already four threads on this topic. I don’t think there is any reason to start another. You could continue this discussion in the most recent thread.

I did try and search the word puzzle from forum's Home Page. I got 2 hits, One post was completely irrelevant to this puzzle and one random puzzle post from year 2014. Hence I decided to post it in a new one!

I agree that Puzzles are fun, the difficult it is, the more interesting the puzzle Smiley

If mods think this post need to move please feel free to do so!
thanks

I haven't visited that page since a long time, because it's really hard for me to solve such puzzles, however a few people are really good at solving those puzzles.

It's sometimes a fun activity to solve those puzzles but I believe that only those who have very high IQ may be able to solve such puzzles. And the rewards are also good for those people who solve such puzzles.

So if they remove the private keys from the puzzle page then there might be something behind the scenes. What I think is that the site wants to make puzzles more tough for the users, however I'm not sure about that.

You can find the keys on this forum page instead,  that site you linked is not run by this forum, so they can do whatever they want.

I don't know why they changed the site to hide the private keys, maybe its because some blockchains let you claim coins with the private keys, an example of this is clam coin.

But you can use the Wayback machine to access those private keys, i will leave the link here:

https://web.archive.org/web/20230608025004/https://privatekeys.pw/puzzles/bitcoin-puzzle-tx

The only problem is that the newfound private keys will no longer be public unless the finder decides to post them on the forum.
