Used to mine on small scale ~2020 made decent profits, but due to my power company changing my rates based on use I was forced to sell. Honestly never thought I would have the opportunity to get back into it I started to do solar equipment importation and sales as a side gig about 6 months ago. Turns out a large solar option is much cheaper than anticipated. We are considering building a 100KW or a 160KW installment of solar, (this being planned output not PV array). We currently have high power usage and hope to cover all our usage and run 20KW load 24/7.
Was considering setting up some infrastructure for hydro miners or getting some S21's.

Looking for suggestions What would you setup currently if you had 20kw 24/7 of free power?

I would get 4 s19k pros and 3 L7

they would do 21kwatts..

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020240229100429454hjL5rx620697

link to the s19k pro

if you have coupons they are about 1400 each.plus shipping.

if you don’t have coupons  I have 5,000 usd worth that I purchased for 500 usd.

I personally think the savings on the s19ks make them a better choice than the s21s.

they under clock to about 19 watts and the s21 is about 17 or 18 watts.

the L7 units are harder to find but they are also good.

Thanks for the wisdom, I have to also think it leaves much smaller risk of equipment devaluation over time.

I would wait for the halving before buying anything, then given that you can only run 20kw worth of miners I would try to get as much hashrate as I possibly could to make it worthwhile, otherwise it would be not worth the trouble.

I do think Whatsminer has a better value for money, Whatsminer gears have proven over the years that they are a lot more reliable than Antminers despite being slightly less efficient, i would go for M50 M60, but again, all depending on the prices post halving.
