I just wan open my facebook, I see say e don automatically log me out, my body just weak self because it has been long I created the account, and since I login for my phone, I never log out again, I can’t even remember the password to the account, and like say I don even lost sim wey I use open the facebook account, so if the technical problem have been resolved, then I will start trying out random password, but the chances of me getting the facebook account back is low.

Plenty people dey make that mistake, I no go lie u me self don make that mistake before, but as I come see say na rubbish, I come delete am for the gmail wey I save am. Anybody who has been in this forum for a while now at least should have known that this is a very risky approach of dealing with your holdings. Of a truth, I'm even against storing your see phase plainly without some level of encryption, word extension or customization even when stored offline, talkless of going online for backup.

Funny as it may sound, I do the encryption myself with a local server and print it out in booklets and store the encryption of my seed phrases and the secret key at different places in a manner that the person that intercepts them will treat it as clearly unimportant.

Online isn't to be trusted with your seeds, third party interference and  loss of backup data is very high, you only need to trust yourself alone in securing your seeds and private keys , offline is the best approach.

This is the internet, and it's very wild, so whatever your doing, people that can be criminally minded, that would want to access or find ways to access information's that are very private to you are always at alert.
Saving your seed phrase on the mail or within the internet space is too dangerous. Important documents or details of an individual should be printed in hard copy and kept in a very private and secure area, not on the internet. At first when I noticed that I couldn't log into my Facebook account, I felt my Facebook account was hacked because what is rampant nowadays, it was later I found out they had network glitch.

I am not an active user of Facebook but I saw on X some few hours ago where users of that app were finding it difficult to access their accounts and were unable due to technical issues.

Some of the comments pointed to a more excalating presumptions that make them say that the accounts where already hacked, any ways storing important informations online is a bad approach regardless of how secured the sp called cyber claims to be and for such it risky to keep anything related to wallet security on third-party cyber like face or even Google and other online storage.

One of the best ways na to write them down for book, no be sheet of paper oo but full note book or joker. Whether the note book or joker, the person go make sure say him put only him password or seed phrase there so that him go know say na only things about crypto dey there and no confusion from anything written on the book. if I'm not wrong I still remember that most wallet apps don't allow you to even make screenshots of your seed phrase which is basically because they understand how valuable it is and that it shouldn't be left in your gadgets and you're talking about saving it in your mails or Facebook account? I know I sometimes save my logins details and some useful links I'm a separate WhatsApp group that I'm the only person inside and I do this basically to get access to those site whenever I want to buy that's not to say that should be the only place I drop those passwords and it's definitely not my seed phrase. You see the funny thing is that some of us have been contributing in threads about effectively securing our seed phrase to ensure it doesn't get into the wrong hands but in reality we're not doing half of what we are telling others to do. You are absolutely right brother, and a funny thing is that, they hav so much faith in all these social media that they forget to ask themselves questions like what if...? Aside normal cases like this, the social could face a downtime due to the attack of hacker(s) and that could lead to permanent  loss of your files you think are safe. The best thing we could do for ourselves is to stop over hyping  the security of platform when we can make other secure decisions in saving files, img..... Normally I store most of my files/ documents in a flashdrive and hard disc drive. Reason being that if any one get compromised the other one would be use to recover and transfer to a new one making it 2 storage system again. While for some little img I use Google drive while a still have a copy at my HDD, reason for using Google drive is for easy accessibility. I recommend you don't put in any sensitive information in your Google drive as it can also get compromised.

For social media I think the only document which can be kept is photos and videos, to me that is not a document. Document should be a more precise and articulated file with important features which might be implicating, which does not require keeping or saving it in a social media.
Although email might be a place to keep files which might not be safest as well despite it is more preferable to social media.
The best way to keep document is to keep it offline. even if you have it online, there should be need to write, keep or store in a more safer file as a backup. due to this singular reason of online backup, I have lost access to most of my file but I was able to restore it from a written document.

The truth is that you can't pack all your eggs 🥚 in one basket 🧺 because of rhe unknown that might happened right now it is not acceptable for you to pack all your valuables documents, pictures, videos then save then only in one platform no I can't and it is not advisable but they can be a crash on the online platform or even if you happen to save them in a hard drive It can also crash down then you will end up losing all your valuables documents 📄 and pictures and  video...........   

I think most of this valuables documents are safe when you print them out also keep it in a very safe place in your house that no matters what nothing can tamper it again some other valuables like photos.. those important and momentum photos gallery are meant to enlarge in a smaller shape then use a water resistant guide to print them all out keep them also in a safe place somewhere in your house to keep it safe forever.........

During the olden days our granny's usually have a place to keep things safe and warm when ever they needs it they go and pick it not  now that we have social media everywhere which can crash any moment and you will find only your self responsible of your lost...

I am not saying that it is wrong to save online but make sure you always have an alternative in case of necessities....

Is nice idea and I have also taken note of it, it is very important having multiple places where we can save our important documents for more security measures and safety net am really happy I found myself in Bitcointalk forum indeed lots of knowledge and useful ideas are shared here and alot will take advantage of it and i will not be an exception to it thanks once  again @(op)

People dey do a lot of crazy things, so I no go dey surprise if person go dey that stupid to store their seed phrase on Facebook. Aside the technical glitch wey happen yesterday wey caused people to lose access to their accounts on FB, many times we don dey hear how hackers dey take over people accounts on FB, X, Instagram etc. So na dumb idea to store your sensitive information on social media. Couldn't blame them for storing their keys in the emails but it seems to be the easiest for someone who wants to access them easily when they travel even if they lose their phones or laptops, they could still find a copy of their keys in the email.

It's dumb but it's also kind of logical for some. However, not a good thing to do when it involves that should have been in a secure place. We always will learn when something is already lost.

Facebook's downtime is so coincident with the Super Tuesday that's why people are very conscious as to what really happened.

Honestly I have never liked the idea of storing important things online. The moment you store sensitive things online there is every possibility that you are not the only person who has gotten access to it. With the high rate of hacks going on you might wake up one morning and hear that your account has been compromised. Anyone storing sensitive information like wallet phrase online is not serious with his life and his funds. There are several best options that one has to store his phrase, like writing it down on a diary that you alone have access to and saving it to a personal flash drive and keep it safe. Always remember that not your key alone, then it's not your funds.
