I installed Proton VPN with the feature NetShield + KillSwitch + SecureCore (I don't use antivirus).

Is this protection enough so that the provider does not see what pages I visit, so that he does not see that I use telegram and desktop Bitcoin wallets? (Electrum and Exodus).
Yes.

And is this protection enough for surfing TOR sites?
No.

For tor sites, you will need the .onion link and use tor browser for it. For wallets like Electrum and Bitcoin Core, use tor instead of VPN.

Tor is better for privacy because it is not centralized like VPN. VPN should be used for sites that do not allow tor.

Did I ask that? It seems obvious that to serve Tor sites you need to use Tor.

I asked whether this protection would protect me from any malicious sites and whether my IP would be revealed or something like that if I use the mentioned protection tools according to my TOP.

And also asked if my provider sees whether I am using Udusekg or Exodus.

Also, take note the only use of a VPN is to hide your IP and encrypt your traffic but it doesn't mean the internet provider won't see what you visited VPN can only help to encrypt the traffic and make it more difficult for the internet provider to decrypt it and know what you visited. However, it enhances your privacy.

For a wallet like Electrum, you can use it through tor to hide if you are using Electrum wallet. Check this guide below

For Exodus I no longer use this wallet all tokens and coins have been moved to exchanges but it seems you can use Exodus via tor.

If you want to be completely anonymous while using wallets then I suggest install tails OS so you can not connect to the internet until you are connected to the TOR network which is way safer than just using a VPN. Tails OS also supports Electrum and I think Exodus also supports it.

You seem so concerned about what your provide sees and what not, just a thought, don't take it personally, as if you want to remain anonymous, and want to hide your IP then usage of a VPN only won't do the work, and talking about the feature (NetShield + KillSwitch + SecureCore) they are good if works as they are presented by the platform. Netshield will keep you safe from malware and ads, killswitch will hide your IP even when VPN will not work for some time, and secure core is an additional layer of security, as it will route you from different servers. So, overall they look great but using a VPN only makes you depend on a centralized platform.

Which is vulnerable, as what if that VPN itself or the company itself got compromised? so to add an extra layer of security you should remain decentralized, by using open-source platforms, like the previous members suggested using the TOR browser, onion links, etc. Using a specific OS also adds an extra layer of security.

Of course, it depends on the purpose. Since you haven't provided any information on this, I'll have to answer in general terms. VPN in combination with TOR is usually very sufficient for good anonymity.

Tor sites are definitely  free from watch dogs but this doesn't dispute the fact thatvyou can still download a malware infact youare more prone to malwares on tor sites but tor still provide more privacy.

There's  no way a provider can see your real ip address because it's already been masked by the VPN but they can see your VPN's ip adresss as they know you are connected to a VPN at the moment.

Once you are using tor privacy is simplified as everything is going  through network nodes but at the same time they can know you're connected to an Onion  network

It won't happen unless OP accessed a malicious sites. I think that what OP wanted is to hide his ip so that the internet provider won't be able to know the ip address. VPN doesn't help much as it only mask the ip address and it would still show an ip address although it is the ip address that the vpn provided. The internet provider would probably detect that you are connected to tor network but that's all there is since they won't be able to tell or will know what you are doing. Using tor, vpn or not using at all is that it's still prone to malwares and more since it depends on what you are doing like downloading stuff snd accessing different sites. I would agree with tyz that using vpn and tor is sufficient enough if op's concern is for anonymity.

I have no reason to worry about anything since I am not breaking the law. But what worries me is that I recently found out that Internet providers are see which pages I visit.

Yes a good VPN should get the job done, although I've not use Proton VPN before but I have heard that it's a good one too, my favourite is whoerVPN and Express VPN.

And is this protection enough for surfing TOR sites?
It should be, there are few VPN that works very well with TOR and there is also a TOR VPN available, I don't know if it still works.

Can I ask why all these insane security to get away from your internet provider? What are you trying to hide from? Because it seems your provider can't be trusted or something, if this is the case why not stop using the internet provider and go for a Viber connection or starlink.

ToR itself is a decentralized network that send all your traffic through anonymous sources to hide you and your activities online, it seems to fit your need very well, more than VPN that is for hiding locations, if you don't want your internet providers to know what you are doing online I think Tor makes more sense.

In some cases, you should also be careful while using vpn because it is often seen that even in vpn your important things get leaked. There is no easy way to know if someone is monitoring you, no matter how you go on the internet someone will know, sometimes they may not be revealed. This means that those who have this information never disclose it.

TOR is the and not the proton VPN is the best to use as someone who carries out any bitcoin activities online. It is stronger and more private than the VPN which can easily be tracked by the government, the police, scammers, hackers and virtually other bad guys including your ISP providers. TOR and not your proton vpn should be used for all your browsing as you are concerned with things kept private and making it difficult for spies track you.

Proton is a good one.

But you know what's the best protection and antivirus? it is yourself. Your way of how you browse in the internet is going to be your security and how you'd deal with it.

As long as you don't download things that aren't familiar to you then I guess that you should be fine with that. You have nothing to worry if you know the applications and files that you download.
