Many people have lost the chance to become successful because they mismanaged their opportunity, some loss their opportunity because of foolishness while some may loss theirs because of anger and some because of ignorance. Many people have been blessed with so many opportunities but still they  remain where they are while some are looking for the little opportunity to be given to them.

In my work place as at last year I had this friend we both ate from hand to mouth but we managed a little work together and our salary was very small that it won't carry us for two weeks before the month runs out but we still managed it then later I travelled and left him still working after some months he called me that he has been posted to a higher level where he earned higher I was very happy for him. When I came back I saw that his appearance has changed he was living well then I travelled again after three months I was told that my Friend left the work and went back to his village where there was no work at all because he made a mistake and his boss shouted at him.
I came back and started working there he came to plead because his savings has finished but no chance for him, he suffered alot looking for job everywhere so after that year I told him that it is January and there is vacancy he should go and plead again he went and he was employed but he went back and stole two months after he was employed and he was given the highest salary among all new workers as a person who already knew the work operation.

What a waste of opportunity.

I would have said that sometimes it's very important for employers to learn how to speak to there workers. some time ago I have heard of people complaining how they have been treated as slaves to there employers, and I have come to find out that most are truths because I witnessed same event with some people recently, and into employees should also try to accept things politely hence issues of employers harassing employees would reduces.

Back to your story, its unfortunate that some people are just ingrates, they sometimes cause people to have misfortune because pf there stupid acts. with the experience your employer has gotten from your friend psychologically he or she might not be able to employ others based on experience, thereby your friend has become a difficulty to others.

Its said that opportunities comes but once and at this your friend ahs missed another opportunity because of his wrong did. there is no advise that will be give to an adult that will have an impact on them except they have accepted in their hearts to change so you would be able to advise your friend and he will accept it, just do your best for him and let him do his part for his life because every body has his or her own goal to reach.

Sometimes too, we should just learn never to work with people for a lifetime because it's not everybody who always has the patience to tolerate the harsh and unfriendly attitude of other people. Some business owners (managers and directors) can be very annoying and too bossy, and if actually a staff member would have had any good opportunity in that company, the attitude of the manager can make the staff lose patients in the job and just be quiet. People react differently to situations. You might see an opportunity as a favorable one for you, while it is a very stressful and unfavorable situation for another person. 

From the story, you did not mention why your friend stopped the work at first, but from what I understand, it seems the boss was so rude to him. Like I said before, most people cannot endure the harshness of other people. Your friend might have been humiliated in a way you did not like and probably decided to quit. That is quit a sad and interesting story. That is the problem most of the youth faces today, when they have a little opportunity they forget so soon how long they have been suffering, imidiately they get a higher paying job, the next thing that comes there mind is to reap the Fruit of there labour which is not important at that moment. I could also remember where I was working before how my fellow workers will go to spend their money every weekend on clubing, some will spend there salary on women while others will spend on buying of any latest phone without having a second thought. People always feel that opportunity to make money that will make them rich is different from the current one which they are, forgetting that each and every individual has his grace. The grace of Mr A and Mr B might not be thesame. So some people will need to to save small small and accumulate untill they start something, while others might have a bigger opportunity at once . It is really a waste of opportunity, but does opportunity knock on your door only once? I don't believe it does. For every experience and mistake we make today, whether the outcome is good or bad, there's a lesson to be learned for tomorrow. I get, that he stole, he really messed up, and he has to learn his lesson in a severe way, but, that's not the last opportunity in the world. Many other opportunities would come and if he doesn't learn from this one, he would mess up the ones to come.

Learning from opportunities opens more and more opportunities, I hope that we'll be able to perceive one and not let it go to waste, like this young man.

There is a friend of mine he was opportune to have a job at his very youthful age and was earning a better salary at the end of every month indeed this guy was really blessed with such opportunity because there are many wishing to be in his position, but he never made a better use of this opportunity believing that at the end of every month alert will drop on his phone so he was busy chasing after women living extravagant life spending lavishly going to the club almost every week investing in material things but forget to invest in thing that will yield profit at the end of the day hoping that he already have a job even when he was advice to invest on things that will be of benefit to him in time coming or when he is not working again but refuses to adhere to advise but still he keeps on womanizing not until he later got problem at work place and was dismissed by the management that was he realized that he has missed opportunity and up till now such opportunity has never come again.

So in life it's very important we make use of any slit opportunity that comes our way no matter how small it may be so to later not regret at the end of it all, we should also learn from the mistakes of others so that had I know which always come at last won't be your case .
