We are all aware that some issue being going on concerning binance platform and our country, now binance is planning to discontinue all services related to the Nigerian naira from their platform, soon around march 8 though they didn't stop us from using the platform services e.g  like using the platform to  trade other coins .

So I stumbled upon this, The lawmakers noted that the actions of the government recently put the country “in bad light (to make something look bad)  with regards to observance of global statutes on fundamental human rights and rule of law and portrays the country as being dishonest and incompetent.”

My brother, to me this actions taken by our government is sad and regrettable, because we all know say no be binance dy cause our naira to lose value, na our bad economy and too much importation of goods into the country.

So if any of our lawmakers don see the light small, to me na good news, because at least, some of them brain dy function, because as e be so, I no know wetin Dem wan use hold binance again, since Dem don Pull out of the Nigerian market, because indirectly, na wetin this  their action mean.
So now way the naira still dy lose value, I wonder who Dem wan put the blame on, since the work wey our government dy do now, na to look for who to blame for anything wey no dy in other, make we just watch and see where this high level of incompetence go carry Dem go.

This is not just about Binance. It is about house of representatives stepping in. Also talking about resolution. This is more than just discussing about Binance, but discussing about the fate of crypto regulations in Nigeria and looking into knowing if cryptocurrencies exchanges should be banned not. But the news talks more about regulations, that if these exchanges are regulated, naira manipulation will not occur.

Mr Charles you and I know that post duplication/spamming is against the forum rules so why do we still support it t. Even if the current situation of our economy and crypto network is troubling, we still have to keep to standard and make things much easier for our selves. Assuming a single thread was created to discuss the issue of binance and Nigeria government actions, it would have made the local board look more organized. But now everyone is creating their own topic to discuss same issues with just new updates.

I was about to make comments in your thread when I found out that your thread has been locked, I don't know why but that will just bring about others creating thread for this same update. It pains me to see the local board like this, now the local board is more of a press forum than a Bitcoin as it main purpose of the forum.

May I ask why you locked your thread?

Like which thread? Do not let me repeat what I have posted. This is not just about Binance, although OP did not give it in details as it is on my thread. It is worth new thread.

Example of what do not worth new thread is if the Binance executives has been released from detention. That is not worth new thread. Know that this news is not just about Binance like I said before, it is about future of crypto legalization in Nigeria.

The reason that I locked my thread was the second post of the thread. That this thread we are posting currently was created before mine but I noticed it after I have created that thread. So we should further the discussion here so we would avoid repetitive posts.

Or do you think I should unlock it? If you people want that I can unlock it.

A wish every other person who made Spam post about binance and government issues was smart enough to lock their thread when they found out another thread with same information exit, it would have been better for the Local boards reputation. Anyway thanks for taking that smart move even after you know fully well that your thread is more informative you still locked it. I wouldn't ask that you reopen the thread, let's just leave it that way and keep the board from spam posting.

I guess that is among the main reason we need a local moderator here with the child boards

I guess OP would be in a better position to answer this since in the end one of this thread as to be locked to avoid spamming, Though yours is more detail and does not necessarily needs anyone to click the link and read about this, to actually get the entire context while OP is quite the opposite but in the end it's stating same news.

@I_Anime your attention is needed on your thread, I advise you either make it more detailed or locked it in order for Charles-Tim to open his

So I stumbled upon this, The lawmakers noted that the actions of the government recently put the country “in bad light (to make something look bad)  with regards to observance of global statutes on fundamental human rights and rule of law and portrays the country as being dishonest and incompetent.”
Our lawmakers should respectfully just stfu.

What do they know about the country being in a bad light in front if the international community?

With respect to fundamental human rights, they are aware that this government came in through the abuse of the fundamental human rights of her citizens. We are already in a bad light. The judiciary literally imposed on us a druglord and criminals with several corruption charges/cases still at the EFFC as our leaders, did they not know that it was putting the country in a bad light?

I am freakin sick of these people. Talk about Cryptocurrency exchange and all like they give two fucks.

The lawmakers can't do shit because they are not independent of the Executive arm of the government. All of them are just ass lickers hoping to maintain their sit come 2027.

Sir @Charles-Tim I think you can open yours let's continue the discussion there .
