Ive been locked out of my Kraken account for over 48 hours and have sent multiple trouble tickets with no responses. 

I was logged into the app and went to login on my desktop.   When I attempted I was forced logged out of the app and denied access via desktop.   Now I can not log in anywhere.  I understand that things happen but 48 hours with no response is BS!  No phone number that works ( the one on the site is disconnected).   

So now I am locked out with no way to access the account.  Funny how I just sold all my bitcoin and was heavy on cash when this happened.  Almost like they anticipated me withdrawing the funds, which I wasnt going to do I just wanted to buy some other coins.

Are you in the UK?

This problem exists with coinbase and binance too, I think its just a waiting game.

Next time you get access, you should move your crypto to a non-custodian wallet, you should have already done this. You let Kraken hold the keys to your crypto, bad Idea.

You need to remember the saying for future - Not your keys, not your crypto.

You only need the exchange when cashing out, when holding, exchanging for other crypto, this can be done without the exchanges.

Use a wallet like Electrum(BTC) - Free, open source, non-custodian.

Create a scene on social media. Make a tweet on X/Twitter and tag @krakenfx, then create a Reddit thread on the r/kraken subreddit. Companies in general hate negative publicity(understandably so); and giving them negative publicity gives you a better chance of getting things done.

Is your account verified? Have you committed any violation? Or did this happen by chance? Didn't they tell you the reason for the ban?

When you logged in to the application, why didn't you take advantage of the opportunity and withdraw your money? Why did you log out and back into the desktop application?

Also, do you receive any message when you try to log in, or is there no message? You did not provide sufficient details about the incident.

In any case, it is best to contact support through the main exchange page even if you are not logged in.

You need to clarify us with the information's some members had already asked you about your location if you're in UK or not, secondly have you contacted some other people you probably know using the same platform and see whether they are having same issue as you do or not, then lastly, sometimes the network may be bad and you lack access into a platform and all that is needed is to wait, but not when its taking longer like 48hrs, you can as well check your if they already message their users for undergoing any form of maintenance in case that is the cause.

So I think it is better to patiently wait for their response as they may be too busy these days.

I'm not in any way justifying Kraken's lack of immediate response but it seems 48 hours isn't a big deal as far as Kraken's track record is concerned. 2 days isn't a long wait. With these centralized platforms, you need to have a little more patience. Some issues were resolved only after weeks. Sending multiple tickets in a matter of 2 days might only make them annoyed and intentionally delay their response further.

Anyway, Kraken's support is responsive on Reddit. You might want to raise your concern there as well.

If it requires manual handling, you just need to be a little more patient.
I recently resolved an issue with my main trading exchange account (not kraken, unfortunately) and do you know how long it took for my ticket to get a support response? about 5 days later but I wasn't too anxious. And the sixth day they solved my problem with video verification.

Ive been locked out of my Kraken account for over 48 hours and have sent multiple trouble tickets with no responses. 
They do that cause they can. Do not give exchanges control over your finances.
As much as is possible, move your funds out of there after you are done trading.

So now I am locked out with no way to access the account.  Funny how I just sold all my bitcoin and was heavy on cash when this happened.  Almost like they anticipated me withdrawing the funds, which I wasnt going to do I just wanted to buy some other coins.
You have only two options, one is to wait for the support to give you a response and the other is to try and force a response by creating some noise about your case on social media, targeting spaces where they have their customer base; twitter, reddit, YouTube etc.

If I were you better bring your concern to their official thread and maybe you can get a quicker response to one of their representative here on the forum.

There is no harm in trying but I doubt this would help speed up resolving the issue. The similar case you mentioned is more than six years old and their official representative is not as active as he used to be. Many negative feedbacks have been posted recently on their announcement thread and some users even called them scammers but there is no response from them.

I understand that two days in not a long period and OP should be more patient as their support service might be busy but the least they could do is to reply back even with an auto reply and not ignore him completely.
