What do you think about the future price of Polkadot?

I guess Polkadot hasn't brought the attention of mainstream investors yet. They're focused on the spot Bitcoin ETFs and the upcoming halving event in 2024. Besides that, investors are putting their money into rival smart contract blockchains such as ETH and SOL, leaving DOT behind in the dust. I've used to wonder why, especially when Polkadot has promising tech behind it. Parachains and Polkadot's modularity should make it one of the most scalable blockchains in the world. It could've challenged SOL and BSC by now.

Maybe the upcoming Polkadot 2.0 upgrade will make things better? If not, don't expect prices to rise anytime soon. I'd invest a small amount of money into DOT just to be safe.

I think this coin has lost its spark. Nowadays people have stopped talking about this. I personally don't know about the technicalities behind this but even in this bull run this coin hasn't performed well nor in the past. Analysts say that its price will be into a flat line even at the end of 2025. The market has been very volatile Nowadays but this project I think doesn't have the power to perform anymore..

Stop Investing into these coins who are flat but I'll advise you to get into the details what it is not able to perform and then keep an eye on them if they make the wrongs good then there might be a chance to get profited by investing in it.

The coin has lost his spark but it can get a big pump during altcoin season. I still hold quite a lot of DOT mainly because of the high staking interest you got but reaching a price of around 50$ (what it reached 2 years ago) will probably not happen.

Yeah, sadly it hasn't moved that much compared to the other altcoins that we have. But compared to the price last year, it has doubled already. You have to wait until it starts moving like the others because not all altcoins are going to move up together but basically now, wait until the halving of BTC is done and most of them are going to follow each other afterwards.

Polkadot indeed is holds potential to on top but it's bit surprising to see we haven't witnessed the rally in Polkadot which we have seen with other coins but we need to remember we are still in pre halving days and there are chances of altcoins including polkadot to make rally post halving when we are expected to see more surge in bitcoin's price. Let's hodl it as of now it does have potential and it won't take longer period of time for it to rally and multiply the profits once it gets going and I would say those who have missed to invest into SOL can utilize Polkadot as the rally is yet to begin.

It's not yet time for them to get the spotlight, but it has always been known as the leading blockchain in the space. I think compared to L1 blockchains, the DOT competition is showing a weak advantage, as most of the options are in spaces where investors can benefit, and speculation also takes time. With the belief that DOT is good, I think it will also be a hotly discussed L1 in the near future. I don't have much speculation about the price yet, but perhaps this period of DOT accumulation is still very good.

In addition to a bullish moment, Bitcoin broke its all-time high and made new highs. Right around this time the top alt coins have rallied but not as expected. However, some coins pumped more than I expected, such as Solana Coin. Polkadot is one of the top coins, these few didn't pump much. Currently we are in early bull season. If we invest in polkadot coins at this time and hold till the bull season starts at the end of the year, we can expect triple to four times next year's polkadot.

Yeah there is and it's not only one reason but probably more.

- Obsolete blockchain
- Non friendly blockchain
- It has lost its FOMO and hype.
- Polkadot users were not as high as when this blockchain became so popular in the past.

What do you think about the future price of Polkadot?

Im not so optimistic forecasting this coin because i don't like this complicated blockchain. My prediction is that DOT coin will get another big pump in the upcoming days. The chart has been showing signs of pump. It will be mooning soon. I will aim $20 probably the target for polkadot to be achieved first.

maybe there are still many improvements to polkadot. I like the coin from a network perspective, their ecosystem is good. but until now there has been no significant sign of polka dots. Having participated in last year's crypto trend, Polkadot had good value, after entering the bear season, Polkadot coins dropped drastically

Where is DOT? It has billion marketcap but it was not even able to be among the blockchain with most of transactions. It means that DOT has no demand and it can still survive due to the speculation only. DOT is not a good blockchain anymore. People are rarely using it now.
The parachain is a total flop, it has proven caused by dot is not also having a lot of TVL too. Its mean people have no interest to use DOT as blockchain to did regular transactions everyday.

I think dot2.0 has certain features that will allow it to scale into the market a little and it could impact its price as well. The feature of block space allocation is something that can make a huge impact because it will ease the process of new projects entrance into the polkadot ecosystem. The polka dot new update will potentially help it to enter web 2.0 and even web 3.0 frameworks.

I think these updates will enable the developer to avoid any kind of design problem that will arise in future. It will ultimately lead to the price hype of polka in the near future. This project has not done well in the past but I think it's better to invest some assets in polka to have a safer site.

Just  keep your DOT mate and lets see what comes , I also have some polkadot in my pocket and will keep them safe for the next halving after effect , I am assuming that DOT will at least double its price now in 2025 .
and I am enough to take my profit then.

I agree on that because DOT is not like any other coins that can only come and go but it stayed for a reason and that is it can provide a solution to the known problems of cryptos and the blockchain. Besides, the bull run is only getting started and there is more to come from it. The BTC price is still coming back to above 70k which means people still keep buying

We still have plenty of months left before we end the year and I'm sure that the after-effects of the halving that you are talking about there will already be experienced. My prediction on the year of 2025 is it may now be a bear season again but if you are that patient, this may not be a problem to you.

Where were all these coins were hiding. The present price of Polkadot $9.78 and that is a good price in the cryptocurrency market. And for me coming to this altcoins board has educated me a lot of coins and I have learnt a lot from them. Though I don't know when the coin project was created and launched into the cryptocurrency community but from the market cap the future of this coin is very much bright. But I will still make a rigorous investigation before I can invest in it if I wanted and also recommend it to someone.

With a lot of new competitors right now, I am not really hoping with Polkadot now. Before, I supported them especially when Gavid Wood was still on the project.
The technology behind this project is superb, but the adaption seems low compared what we have right now that alternative to Ethereum which is layer-2 networks.

I guess the Polkadot team has done a terrible job promoting the cryptocurrency (DOT). Perhaps, Polkadot is one of the few projects driven by utility instead of hype. It might not have demand compared to other Blockchains, but its approach to scaling is quite promising. I sure hope it stays decentralized forever. The market is flodded with many centralized "shitcoins" overhyped by VCs, and whales alike. Polkadot could prove itself to be a viable ETH alternative to those looking into security, stability, and reliability.

With the upcoming 2.0 upgrade, it's expected things will change for the better. What I don't like about DOT is the huge number of coins in circulation. Maybe that's one of the many reasons why the cryptocurrency struggles to reach a new ATH? At least, Polkadot does the job it's supposed to. Who knows how the project will fare in the long run?

I don't agree that this coin has a very good and bright future. Yes it is a good project to get a small investment and get out of the market after making 1 or 2 percent on your profits. As today the price altered by 4 percent. It was launched back in 2016 with a capital of billions and still 30 percent Is holded by its investors.

If it has a bright future it would have done so far so better. It had a high of 44 something in 2021 but after that it crashed very badly. I think it'll topple here at that price until and unless it can do something good hopefully in 2.0 update.

As today the price altered by 4 percent. It was launched back in 2016 with a capital of billions and still 30 percent Is holded by its investors.

If it has a bright future it would have done so far so better. It had a high of 44 something in 2021 but after that it crashed very badly. I think it'll topple here at that price until and unless it can do something good hopefully in 2.0 update.

The problem is investors are paying attention to overhyped "shitcoins" (cough cough, Solana) instead of those with real utility and promising tech. SOL has been a constant victim of network outages, yet market prices go up because of the hype. "Meme" coins and the sale of so-called "crypto-powered" smartphones contributed to the increase in SOL's market price. Polkadot, on the other hand, isn't that lucky because of a poor marketing/promotion strategy from the team. Developers decided to focus on providing real utility instead of hyping their project.

Without "meme" coins or NFTs launching on DOT, demand for the cryptocurrency will remain low for quite some time. Maybe there's hope with the upcoming 2.0 upgrade? The future can't be predicted, so lets hope for the best.

its indeed so weak with DOT not having that much transactions going on their blockchain its as if people only remember it for investment only and thats it no utilization of the blockchain for real use case its unlike most of emerging blockchain nowadays that always put tps, or anything related to utilization of the platform in the first place.
personally though I don't think that kind of investment is gonna be a good investment we all know that in an investment where it might hit all time high it always requires some kind of event or hypes, if polkadot just stay like this its not overexaggerating to say that eventually its gonna be replaced by other coin.
polkadot blockchain is dying, nobody uses it and thats how exactly all the former top 10 coin back then in few bullruns back are tanking and get replaced easily by new coin like solana and the likes.

its gonna be okay if the major coin is also having big transaction in their blockchain but this one is different case polkadot is simply put under utilized.

Polkadot is one of the projects that was heavily promoted by Binance as something that could be an alternative to Ethereum, and it was even better than some of the alternatives that compete now, such as ADA, but Polkadot was unable to achieve continued popularity, and Binance moved to promote other ideas, which is Shiba Inu, as memecoins was at its peak at those times.

In the recent bear market, Polkadot did not succeed in attracting attention and is considered a non-friendly blockchain despite the low fees it provides, but strong projects in terms of fees have emerged, such as SOL. All of these factors made all of Polkadot’s features available in a different blockchain and thus it did not gain any momentum.

Yes I agree with you to the extent that halving is near and we should seek an eye on different altcoins down but the question is that is dot worth it to invest?

I think other altcoins like ETH, SOL,BNB,Cardano,XRP etc are way better options then dot to invest. These coins have proved in the past that they have some very strong fundamentals and they are more worth it to invest then dot in think. We should look more at them as halving is near rather than a project that has a very weak performance history in the past.
