I am currently sitting on 5k (50% BTC and 50% ETH) and now want to invest another 5k in Altcoins.

I am thinking about splitting it in 5x 1000, what would be your choice? Which 5 altcoins would you choose?

The only one that does not look in this list is Link, it has been in the market for some time but has not performed well. In the last bull runs which was in 2021 it did do well and pumped beyond $49 but this time it is not doing like it did in 2021. For me out of the 5 coins FET is a good project and in the current situation where every day there is a new AI released this crypto has a long way to go. I think if the developers keep adding new features to it then it is good for long term hold.

to me $1k is a huge amount of value and I would not use that money to invest in altcoins that are less promising or have no future potential. If I had to choose 5 altcoins for investment, I would definitely choose large altcoins such as BNB SOL TON MATIC and AVAX. you offer memecoins and you don't know how the project works like you are playing gambling on coins, we have to know how the project works, who are the investors who are the developers and what is the vision going forward and tokenomic and also the system that is run in the development of the project needs to be considered so that when you invest in it you have a reason why you are investing in that coin.

I think we need to see the L2 bitcoin project is quite interesting in its development and can be an option to monitor in my opinion, however we need to see where the market direction will move and attract many investors to invest in a project.

I don’t know any coin by that name and when doing an investment, it is best to know the coin and the team behind those projects so that you don’t invest your money into something that will not give you profit in the long run. The coins I have believe in are those that have been in the market for a long time and are still doing well despite the market volatility and you’ve already invested in one of them which is Ethereum. You can also look into others like SOLANA and BNB, while you gamble with the rest to invest in. Those are the ones I have strong hope on to do well this bull run without any doubt.

I think you are holding the leading cryptocurrencies in your portfolio ,those are well established and recognized, however to quench your thirst to have some position in altcoins as well, GLMR, Solana, Link AVAX ,and Polkadot (DOT) could be a wise choice as these coins can perform well in the bullish market, and  currently available at attractive price. Additionally, Real world Assets (RWA) can also excel in future.
