Hello. I have been dabbling in crypto on and off for the past few years. But something unexpected happened today. So, I have about $88.00 in Dogecoin in my Coinbase Wallet (this is the wallet for Android not the website) and I have been trying to transfer all of it to Coinbase. I have done this many times before. I transfer it, sell it, and put it in my bank account. But for some reason, it keeps saying that Dogecoin is on the BNB Smart Chain Network and it refuses to transfer it to Coinbase.
I thought Dogecoin had its own network? In the wallet, it doesn't have that Binance symbol under it but it is still considered BNB. This is very strange indeed. I tried to convert it to Ethereum but it won't let me do that. Coinbase supports Ethereum, so that could've worked. I can't think of anything else, except maybe sending all of it to Binance.US, converting Doge to Ethereum, and sending it to Coinbase. But the problem is, I'm dirt broke. I can't afford the fees (which is usually pennies) to send it to Binance.US. I need BNB to do that. But let me ask you, is it possible to change the network Dogecoin is using (BNB) back to the Dogecoin network?
