It's said a bird at hand is worth more than a million in the forest; meaning I would rather take one bitcoin and walk away than spending them in the gambling site which I am not sure of my winning so why would I do that after knowing the rules and regulations of gambling. Even as they said gambling is a game of luck and chances and you expect me to go miss my chances of having one bitcoin to go gamble for the sake of winning of 5 bitcoin, is this normal if I may asked?

My choice from the one you gave is that I will not use the 1 BTC I have just to gamble whatever the reward offer is as big as whatever the reward is, I will not use it to gamble. if for spot trading is ok.

It's easy to make right decisions when you have such offer. Yes, I'm a gambler and I enjoy spending time on betting but I'm not an addict, I only enjoy it for some fun and I put lowest amount of my earning into it because I believe if we can enjoy with less then why go for more? If I get such offer I'll most probably take 1 BTC and go away with it without any question.

Do you mean that I can either get 1 btc or 2 btc if I chose the 5 btc after gambling it? if so, wouldn't the 5 btc be the best option since there was no mention of the possibility of not getting anything if you chose the 5 btc?

For me taking 1 btc right away would be the best option. I dont see reason to your analysis. I don't even know what you meant by 5 btc by playing 2 to 1 chance, but whatever the option may be I chose 1 Instead of that 5 because I believe the five come with high potential risk which may not end weel.

I wouldn't hesitate to go with the 1 BTC and call it a day because i'm only a casual gambler. I'd rather play it safe with the lesser reward than go with the possibility of walking away with nothing.

If I were a high roller and 1 BTC was something I could afford then maybe the chance to win 5 BTC wouldn't be a bad option.

If I was offered to use 1 BTC to win 5 BTC I would think first because what is in front of my eyes is not necessarily that we will get it easily because I personally do not fall into the category of gamblers who dare to take things too high. stake. Many will go with the one bitcoin offer. I will also do the same. Whether you lose or win, if you choose 1 Bitcoins, then you will ultimately get it. On the other hand, if you greed and go for 5 Bitcoins, then no doubt you have to take the risk and with the risk, you might lose the Bitcoins also. No doubt that if you take the risk, the reward will also be high, but it completely depends from person to person I must say.

If I do not bet, I will take 1 BTC but if I bet, I will take 5 BTC. I will ask what if I lose the bet, will I take the 5 BTC. If they say no unless I win, then I will just take the 1 BTC and not bet. If I bet, that means I am greedy and I will likely lose the money and regret because 1 BTC is not a small amount of money but huge and enough to make me richer.

Nope, if I have this one-time opportunity wherein I can have the chance of getting 5 BTC, which is a very huge amount of money in my country's currency conversion, then I will take the risk. Yes, it may sound a little too greedy, but the thing is, if I have the chance, I want to take any risk that could be worthy. If the 5 BTC is for me, then I will likely accept it openly, but if not, then it means it's not for me. I will regret not getting or securing the 1 BTC, but it's fine. If that's the case, I would take the 1 BTC.

Pretty much all the time I would choose the 1 BTC unless the 5 BTC were at something like 99% chances or something like that.

But I guess to make it interesting the odds would be something like you get the 1 BTC at 100% and the 5 BTC at 20% chances of getting it.

I would of course take the 1 BTC as well in that case.

Well for me, I don’t really see any reason why I would risk  my one BTC because I want to get five BTC for something I am not really sure about all that I have done before even if I have done it before and I got it right then it’s just because of lock, I want to conclude that that it is how the process is because looking at the process of risking one BTC to get five BTC, the ricks is so high, I will never agree to such thing I can’t even risk 0.5 BTC not to talk of 1 BTC just because I just want to get money. Two things are involved here 1btc and walk away, or gamble and get 5btc. Walking away with 1btc is the best of it all, because you got it without doing anything, that is what everyone will appreciate, rather than passing through some emotional drama when gambling to win additional 4btc.

On the other hand, if the condition of me gambling with the 1btc to get 5btc is sure that I will win the 5btc, then it is cool with me. It means that I will prefer to gamble and increase my 1btc to 5btc. If the condition of gambling is 50-50, I wouldn't think twice but to happily take the 1btc and walk away gently.

Just like the rest been choosing on here then i would really be walking away with 1BTC and call it a day and never intend to make myself greedy on having that 5BTC but i would really be needing to play it on gambling.
Any results could neither be profitable or you have nothing left on your hand.Also 1BTC=1BTC and you could really be able to have different methods on making yourself that diversify specially on investment.
If you are some sort of addicted gambler then you would really be definitely going for that 5BTC and would be gambling it all out.

The risk to reward between 1 BTC and 5 BTC is too far, 1 BTC is already big, so most people won't need to gamble for 5 BTC. If it was $100 and 5 BTC, then it would be interesting to know how many people will choose $100 or 5 BTC.

I'll take 1 btc without playing since I will eliminate any risks from the bet! Personally I love "sure wins" and I don't want waste or take any un-required risk. This is a great chance... because it's a sure win. Gamblers must be focused on sure win and not on "lucky" matches.
