if our government are directly or indirectly benefiting from our non functional refineries, then there is no guarantee that they signing any bill to that effect will make any difference.
I do not know how federal government will benefit from refineries that are not functioning. But I did heard that some politicians and rich men have refineries outside Nigeria. What I read before that is one of the reasons for the high price are the limited storages that the gases can occupy in the country, that it is lower than the demand.
Gas is now very expensive, kerosene isn't cheap, to even buy ordinary charcoal now na war and light no even de when person for think of using Hot plate.
Charcoal is always still better. Although, it is through that it is getting expensive, but everything is getting expensive in Nigeria as usual, but charcoal is very cheap if compared to gas and kerosine.
About electricity, some people are using prepaid and that will discourage them to use electric cooker even if there is constant electricity because it is also expensive. But people do not use postpaid can benefit from it if the electricity is good.
