Which altcoin shoud I be carefully looking at now as BTC goes a little down, do yoiu think..=??

Am not really a fan of altcoin, I don’t really trust any altcoin, because I know altcoins really disappoint easily, so I don’t have eye on any altcoins, instead of you monitoring Altcoins when bitcoin is dumping, don’t you think you can just easily invest in bitcoin, since you already see that bitcoin is down, bitcoin is the best investment, and when bull run starts, you are going to make a very good amount of money as your profit, and you won’t be disturbed about anything happening to your investment. If it’s Altcoin investment, you won’t always have peace of mind.

All the coins you have indicated have reached the maximum price and, accordingly, it is very risky to buy them. It will be less risky to make purchases of such altcoins, whose price movement is just beginning.

Solana is a very impressive altcoin to date. Because while most of the top altcoins followed Bitcoin when it dropped yesterday, Solana is actually a little different. In fact, this coin still has an extraordinary positive trend and is experiencing significant and regular increases. It's truly impressive to see how Solana has developed so far.

Not only is their focus on the development of SOL prices, but also the development of the projects they are building and developing. Ah, it's a shame that Solana is so special, because they not only offer a fairly competitive blockchain, but also several other products that can certainly support Solana into a very solid and significant ecosystem.

So, indeed this time. In my opinion, Solana is a no-brainer. Meanwhile for others, top altcoins could be an option, the main ones are still ETH, BNB, Matic, XRP or ADA.

I am really excited with Solana coins success recovering since dropping lower price after their assets hold in FTX exchange until success raise the latest higher price above $200. Raise up to x20 more, become most success for altcoin after dropping drastically but Solana has solid team and the developer keep building or developing their coins until success raising up drastically. I fully trusted keep hold and more accumulate investing with Solana coins and has potential in the future break the new higher price not only stopping around $200 but also will follow BNB price.

I don't think good ideas with investing in XRP or ADA, both coins becoming stable coins and difficult raising to higher price although current bitcoin have reached new all time high price.

Having a focus on just altcoins makes one miss out on the general market movements. If you focus on the BEST altcoin, that means you will make yourself believe that there is just one, and there isn't a single one, there are many. I think the best thing to do in this case would be focusing on how you could probably make a lot more money if you diversified your portfolio, that way you will do a lot better.

I personally hope that the best thing we could do right now would be willingness to be open for possibilities. Go check the top 20, remove xrp, stables, and memes from the list, and invest equally to all of the alts there (and bitcoin should get majority) and you should be fine. I think that's the way I went and doing fine.

It very much depends on how exactly you define "best altcoin". The technically best altcoin? The altcoin with the most capital behind it and therefore with the best prospects of surviving a coming bear market? The altcoin that is used the most? The altcoin with the highest potential to hit x100?

Depending on how you set the bar, the result is completely different. But I would agree with you on point 1) in particular and take a look at the top 20. With AVAX and ADA, 2 technically very strong altcoins are already represented there. However, when it comes to the chance to multiply the price, you shouldn't look in the top 20. The probability of a coin achieving such high price increases there is very low. These coins have usually already had their altcoin run.

I would say if you're there for long term holding, then put your money on the established Alt Coins already and stay away from memecoins. Most of the time those were listed within the top 100 here on https://coinmarketcap.com/
But if you're there short term and you have strategy to time the market, memecoins and coins under solana ecosystem is what's hot right now. For me, you should also look for coins that are performing great even most markets are down.

It's quite difficult for me right now to predict which altcoin will be successful in the future. Most of these altcoins appear to be imitating the market behaviour of Bitcoin. These altcoins quickly follow Bitcoin whenever its market price declines, frequently making the decline worse. On the other hand, these cryptocurrency usually experience a recovery when Bitcoin starts to rise again.

investing in Bitcoin directly could produce more consistent profits, I wonder why people are searching for altcoins that might flourish. I believe that the likelihood of discovering an altcoin has significant promise is dim. While it's true that some cryptocurrencies may occasionally show signs of promising growth, identifying these possibilities is still difficult. Purchasing altcoins seems to depend more on chance than on careful planning. It is also very possible that the altcoin that an investor decides to invest in won't end up being a profitable endeavour in the long run.

without experience, it is better not to put your money in meme coins. it could be the biggest mistake in your life if you choose the wrong coin. it's better to put your money into buying better altcoins like SOL which you have discussed. BNB and ETH may also be options to buy.
memecoin is too risky, it will be very easy to rise but also very easy to fall. Avoid it as much as possible or focus on trading and investing in Bitcoin in the long term.

My first question is that are you holding for a long term or you are holding for the short term? There is a lot of speculations surrounding the trend of the market regarding the all time high that was broken before the halving day and that's has beg the question whether if this is the place where we are going to have the final Bitcoin bullrun and the the market will correct or there is more to go for Bitcoin and you know, if Bitcoin remain at the top, that's when altcoins can run, any crash of Bitcoin will kills many altcoins potential bull run.

If looking for some gems, you should just take your eyes to Coingecko, from trending you will know which coin is good for buy for short term. As for the long terms, only Bitcoin I can comfortably tell you to buy, some altcoins has been pumped and entering them right now can make you buy at the top. Maybe you should wait after the market make some corrections before another leg, that's when you can buy some top altcoins.

Yes, this is probably the rule of the crypto currency market because sometimes we see the price of Bitcoin high and other times we see the price of Bitcoin low which is always the case. A few days ago we also noticed that the price of Bitcoin went above $70k and then fell back to touch $63k. Over the past few days the price of Bitcoin has started to rise again and has almost returned to its previous level as well as the price of various alt coins. A small example of that is when the price of Bitcoin peaked this year when we saw the price of the Ethereum coin around $4k. Again when the price of Bitcoin was low, the price of Ethereum coin was around 3300 dollars that is the price of this coin was also reduced due to the decrease in the price of Bitcoin. The rise and fall of various altcoins largely depends on the rise in the price of Bitcoin.

These two coins you mentioned are good for investment but lately Solana Coin has been very bullish in the market. In fact now the market is bullish due to which all coins are bullish in price. As you said looking for new and unknown coins and investing in them seems totally stupid to me as these will bankrupt some people very soon.So even if you invest in alt coins, you should invest in potential coins.

It always follows when bitcoin is either moving up or down, but of course, be careful with trading or investing in altcoins as they are subject to dips as the investors are only thinking about selling their stocks as they see the price of their altcoins increase. I will aswell join to recommend Solana, it's actually a good project that can make you some good money if you invest in it but what I can't really say for now if is now is the best time to really go into it because it's price keeps going up by the day as compared to its previous which I would have considered fair for an entry and Prices of coins are quiet unstable at the moment as they go up and down almost too often in recent times so it's very possible you could buy now and suffer losses days after but then if you would still want to invest in it then it will be better if you just wait till you see some stability with price then you can get a very good entry and after which you can wait for a new highs at which you can sell of and make some profit.

Investing in ETH is Also a good one but the challenge with that has always been in the fact that it's usually comes with high gas fee and that may not be such that you will be ready to bear as at the time of purchase but if you are willing to take bear the cost then you could proceed to getting it.

I also read elsewhere how many people are talking about Solana and predicting that this will be one that has potential, I don't really understand because I don't follow it, but for trading at times like this it is quite suitable because the market will move quickly both up and down because Bitcoin is currently bullish, especially after the halving, but for investment, meaning long-term, it doesn't seem appropriate because after Bitcoin enters a bearish period, altcoins, including Solana, will experience even worse things.
Meanwhile, memecoin will be very profitable for early investors and you have to play it safe by always taking profits quickly because you don't know what will happen to memecoin in the next few months.

Interesting advice, Thank You! I have to admit that my BTC is not at all to trade, I'm just holding them. Recently I sold all of my ANT coins. Today I put a new buy order for some few thousands USD in another alt coin, waiting for the small little drop to effectuate it, and that will be 4 shorts and 3 longs, one short in the middle, two shorts combined and then one short at the very end.

Maybe a little cryptic, but I'm very able to explain it all when the purchase is made.

Investing in altcoins could somehow offer us significant profits as long as we invested in the right coins. However, the problem is it’s hard to find good altcoins when all these coins are claiming they’re all good and have high potentials to succeed. So DYOR is the key, and might as well diversify your portfolio so you won’t just focus on one altcoin.

While bitcoin should gain the highest allocation of our funds, I think we should also consider investing in altcoins but only the amount we can afford to lose. And as much as possible, invest in them while they’re low priced so we can make bigger amount of profits once we decide to sell them when bull run comes.

If you check the market now, most of the time these days, the active movers are meme-coins categories.

But for me to be safe, I'll go with alternative networks of Ethereum, which is other new layer-1 networks, and new layer-2 networks.
It's not guarantee, but these days if you observe, if Bitcoin pump, altcoins will pump too, so if you want to be safe, go for high market cap altcoins.
