These days i wouldn't see twitter trending as important signal. It's really thing from the past and unusable for me. It's just crypto bro circle jerk with paid shouts, full of hate and bot invasion unlike we have ever seen. Elon said it would end bots but it's more horrible then ever. I remember when it was fun 10 years ago...I am thinking i am trying binance square or something else next. I was mainly using it for checking crypto stuff, but there are so much better places for that now.

Experience is the best teach as they said, I just experienced one of the altcoins and the way they cut my fund through the transaction fee is not encouraging at all. Because of what I have faced today I will not be interested in them again unless the transaction fee of the coin is very low. But indeed memecoin solana is hype a lot of new projects that unexpectedly get market attention for example like BOME that can be listed on binance, it is an unexpected thing for me, as well as other new memecoins that have enough liquidity for minimal trading.

I have been holding BOME. The hype for memecoin on Solana is high. Most of the meme coins are just pump and dump that are limited to trading in Solana dex and live  for a week but there are few that makes to CEX. If you are able to enter on an meme coin that eventually goes into a CEX, you'd have a good profit.
I'm not good at getting lucky so I just waited and watched BOME to rise. It did and got listed to Tier A CEX and as expected, had a 50%+ loss or correction. This is where I get in. I have been holding BOME. The hype for memecoin on Solana is high. Most of the meme coins are just pump and dump that are limited to trading in Solana dex and live  for a week but there are few that makes to CEX. If you are able to enter on an meme coin that eventually goes into a CEX, you'd have a good profit.
I'm not good at getting lucky so I just waited and watched BOME to rise. It did and got listed to Tier A CEX and as expected, had a 50%+ loss or correction. This is where I get in. True. If we just see the charts of trending coins on dex, 90% of them run out of transaction volume in the first week. They are just one pump thing. It's easier to create a token and a website. The more novice looking the website the better it's considered in meme world. Have a 100% fair ICO, Put some liquidity in dex and get profit from selling dev coins. Only a few among the rest 10% actually survives for longer and it would require an exceptional luck to find gems like WIF and BOME.

But I previously heard that the Founder of Solan warned not to buy solana memcoins because it would choke the solana network if too many projects became carcasses and bad activity on memecoins, although this increased interest in Solana coins but he appealed to the entire community.
Yes, the point is not to overdo it and don't get your hopes up on memecoins, because of the several hundred memcoins that are created every day, there are only two or none that become a big profit, and don't hold it for long, unless you will think you are betting and think it is lost money that you will meet one day.

The market goes in the HUGE projects everyone trusts. But early bitcoin and eth were not like that. So those who got a 100000x on Bitcoin and Ethereum they trusted EARLY projects not huge projects. I haven't held any of these coins that have been popularized on the Solana blockchain and listed on the TOP exchange platforms. I have been aware of some of them for a long time, including the Dogwif Hat coin, because I do not seek quick and unguaranteed gains that contain unbearable risk.

What matters to me primarily is the safety of my capital and preserving or increasing it through investments with lower risk and solid projects. Because it is not possible to determine with certainty which of the Solana memcoins will create a boom or achieve 100X returns, or gain popularity and large communities like the coins you mentioned have created, and  Indeed, the market capitalization of some successful meme coins, this year has been impressive, surpassing many other altcoins.
