Hi ,

There are some bad daily habits that always enter our daily routine, as we do them with full awareness, aware of the dire consequences that follow them over time, and that we have no benefit or interest in them , the only thing that we gain is harmful to ourselves and a waste of time and money, and perhaps the consequences reach others, such as smoking or speeding while driving... There are many examples .

Is there a bad habit that you do daily with complete awareness?

Unfortunately we really do have bad habits that despite knowing it’s bad
we still continue to do it because of the satisfaction it gives us.

For me… it would be eating unhealthy food particularly
junk food. I usually enjoy a healthy, hearty, home-made meal
but sometimes you just want to eat something tasty despite its nutritional content

It might not be that big of a deal to others but when you keep doing this
everyday, there comes a point where you feel so bad about yourself
and you can feel your health declining but food is so good
that you just keep eating it anyway

Hopefully I get to stop this and go back to healthy eating habits soon

The only thing I know I do daily that am aware of is that I drink alcohol most times even when I don need it I will just stop by the road side when am going out. If am at home I never think of it but if I just left home and go close to anywhere close to a shop I will definitely buy some alcoholic drink. Am not always happy at myself but I see myself doing it.

Mine is making fun of others , specially in work that I kept saying funny things to my co workers ,I don't know why I am doing this knowing that it is not good for workplace and for the people as well.

I hope that I can take this because sometimes I offending some people and that is not that good for others .

The only bad habits am aware of is that i don't sleep early this days due to too much pressing of mobile phone. Sometimes i will be pressing my phone till I dose off. At times I will be writing something and lose my mind to the extent I don't even know what am typing due too much concentration and not given myself a break.

Daily?

I am not sure with this if this is a bad habit but every time I lie on the bed, it's not going to take more than 5-10 minutes until I get to sleep. Maybe this isn't a bad habit, right?

Or when I do check my phones and try to browse while being in the bed and that's like part of my bed rest routine and that's why my eyes gets tired quickly.

I think my bad habit is being late at work.  It really costs me money because portion of my salary will be deducted.  Moreover, my performance evaluation will suffer because I have lots of tardiness which will reflect on my evaluation.  I am trying now to solve this habit but it is really difficult to break.  I need to sleep early in order to wake up early.

It is funny tho , for me I make fun of passers-by when I’m at work and then my colleagues will laugh to it not just that and my best friend too, I say mean words a lot to her but she never finds it offensive because she know’s that I don’t really mean them that way 😅

Be aware of the problems in life and know that many of the things we are doing are actually harmful to ourselves and those around us.

I am also a smoker and really wanted to stop using it many times, but I also suddenly realized that life should follow nature and there is no need to fight against it. Even if someone thinks it's redundant, these are things that are attached to your life, or that you need to change, but if not, you also need to realize that everything is not bad/good.

I don't have a daily bad habit to announce because for me having it DAILY is not that a
good in attitude so I rather not to have and be proud of it, but if there is one that I sometimes
do? that is to spend my precious time in chitchating in which for me must not be appropriate
since we are talking nonsense and sometimes even talking about the life of others.
and also if we have something bad habit that we knew then isn't better to take action
than just admitting this to be our daily habit?

There is 1 bad habit that I have and I know this is such a bad habit. I want to stop doing it but for me it is not easy to stop.

Biting my nails on my hands. I think it is not clean and can give me more infections by doing that. But it does also help with my anxiety and when I do get nervous I do it the most.

for myself, i feel that a bad habit that i still often have is procrastinating on doing a job, for example when i want to wash the dishes, even though i know that it can't be postponed any longer because it has already piled up, but for some reason there must be something that it distracts me from doing that, so i procrastinate washing the dishes.

i understand that it is a bad habit of mine, but for some reason i seem to be doing it without realizing it. even though i've looked for several ways to overcome this, it still bothers me.

The fact is there too much to talk about in this topic my dear friend, ill just talk about myself, and I'll talk about just one drop in the hole ocean of all the bad habits that consume a lot of my time, energy, and especially money, i smoke a lot, like a lot, i can't stop myself from thinking of lighting a cigarette just after i finished one, i smoke at work, on the streets, in my room, like everywhere, the fact is, nowadays i think that I'm in a stage where the cigarette is consuming me and not the opposite, I've tried to stop it many times but i never succeeded.

Until about two weeks ago my junk food issue did not include much sugar and candy, mostly too much salt. I've restarted daily sugar-filled foods again (Yummy!) and need to stop pretty soon.

What? this is a child behavior mate as I have a friend when we were young that he loves biting his
nail to the point that sometimes its getting into his skin and bleeding , but at your age now? this is not
even a Hygienic  action that can bring you sickness so better to stop this mate.

Bad habits that have been done for 21 days make it a habbit and we believe that it is like a natural activity and becomes a necessity even though it is not good, wastes time and makes important routines delayed. Sometimes the expectation to be productive from the moment you go to bed is already scheduled, but the fact is. I realise that busy people do not mean productive and vice versa. I personally sometimes find it difficult to divide my time between offline and online, here's how...

Offline sometimes there is an impromptu time when I take freelance daily jobs, such as being a public transport driver until late at night, or freelance daily labourers (it's rare but it's a shame if you miss it) and I'm exhausted until I fall asleep. then.

Online, I'm sometimes so engrossed in airdrops that I don't eat on time and I don't get enough fluids and I forget about my contributions elsewhere.

One by one I have overcome my bad habits, including quitting cigarettes, caffeine, gadang and taking care of other people's problem Cheesy.
