Football matches has always been a source of joy and also a source of dispute between friends, relation, parents and colleagues, expecially when it comes to arguments about each individual team. Matches are supposed to be watched peacefully and happily without a second thought of any dispute or disagreement, but people puts their mind so much that they won't even understand that what they are doing is just fun and nothing more. Due to this singular act many people have lost their life during arguments, which Leeds to serious fight and some people got injured. Some people will ague to an extent they will promise themselves that if their club don't win, that people should take a property they cherished, and when the club they supported fails, people will take the property that has been used for setting competition. All because of having passion for football or gambling.

It is not football that creates tension and disagreement between fans (people), but themselves. Fans begin to identify themselves as part of a certain team, which forces them to believe that everyone who doesn't share their values and doesn't belong to their circle are strangers (opponents). Based on this, hostility arises. Either you are with this team and you are our friend, or with someone else’s and you are our enemy. This happens in all team sports, but is most noticeable among notorious football fans.

Actually this is an issue about personality because there would really be no argumentation if all inside the family or circle of friends is something like that but we do know that not all would really be having on the same mindset or behavior on which there are ones who do have that kind of ego or having that kind of principle that they would really be making out that kind of argumentation on the things that they have chosen in compared to others.
This is where troubles or these kind of conflicts on the time that someone would really be trying out to fight on what they are really that trying to prove out not until they would be losing up their bet.

In case on something like this do happen then it would really be better that you should avoid on making some bets or having those kind of bonding with those kind of people on whose getting angry
or trying to prove out something that his bet is much more better than yours or simply wont really be making out some argument in between because this is where conflicts do really start

The important is we can takes care of ourselves, especially when we playing gambling. We don't have to bother with other people that doesn't wants to have the same mindset or behavior because we have different reason why we playing gambling. I think the problem is not that stressful like that. Between family members or friends, there is always opposition in supporting their favorite team, but it is only limited to the match, and when the match ends, everything returns to normal.  At least according to my personal observations usually be like that, there may be more tense things that I have not witnessed between family members or friends fighting each other because they do not have the same opinion when supporting the team that they love. I think it's excessive and unnecessary enthusiasm. I suppose that maybe they had other conflicts in life before, and football was just an excuse for them to argue with each other.

Because they've been a fan of that team for a really long time and to be honest, I think they're all dumb or they lack the capacity to critically think even at the most obvious, when you look at it, it's almost always that the logical thing that you can do is to be a fan but at the same time be happy for other's choice of team to support but this people don't have that especially those that hurt other people just because it's the heat of the moment and they find offence that the other person is cheering on another team, that's why I arrived in the assumption that most sports fans are dumb, I've seen it first hand with people being mad of that one analyst that said that Mayweather is going to win in the fight with Pacquiao, I think he got bashed online for saying that because most Filipinos at that time don't like the idea of their favorite boxer losing.

this is exactly like in my city, where in my city there are 2 teams competing in the same league. every time they meet, there will definitely be two communities fighting each other, and they all don't care that they come from the same city. this shows that football can unite people, but it can also divide people, because they are too fanatical about their favorite team, so they abandon the reason that they are from the same place.

I often see people who quarrel or fight with their friends or family or peers during live viewing of any football match as childish. They lack maturity and should be in a separate room alone viewing the match instead of causing wahala when more matured adults are enjoying a good and interesting match.

I love the fact that I support a different club from my friends or family, because it gives us something to talk about and new information to learn , instead of worrying about the economic situation of the country or gossiping carelessly.

This is one reason why I dont watch football matches with people, relatives or friends, because one person can lose his cool due to inactive of his team and this can affect others and a fight will break out, I have seen a match that ended in blood before, where two guys stabbed each other and they both died later, all because of a football match.
I would rather watch the match in my bed room and react anyway I wanted without having to ruin others feelings, some people just take some stupid things too seriously, I guess it is because they can't control their emotions.

Some people always take football too damn seriously, if they are this serious with their lives they would have become billionaires, but football? It won't take you anywhere, it's just fun and entertaining, thats all,  why must you overreact as if that football is your life?

Expect that a lot of tension will happen between two camps or even the fans of same clubs since not everyone have the same level of understanding and they might not agree just to watch since they mostly got carried away by their emotion especially if they see their team is winning or either losing so expect that there's sudden burst of emotion will happen in that situation.

What important thing in that case is you didn't join on any commotion and you know how to avoid any conflicts between with other fans so you can enjoy the game without hurting anyone since this is more fulfilling and more better for us. Engaging on unnecessary fight or disputes just show how small minded people they are so don't go the same with them and maintain peace in your mind.

It depends on the perspective that people take football because everyone has the choice to support a club they admire even if other family members or friends does not support the same team with them, so fans quarrelling and saying hate speeches to each other is not actually a good one. Football brings unity among people and of such every one should be happy with one another despite the club they choose to support

Everything is all about mindset, the attitude towards something defines your rules of engagement. In my family, I support a different club alongside my sisters,  while my father, younger brother and cousin support a different club. My mun its neutral and sides any winning club.

When we  watch matches together, we engage into arguments about the performance level, team fitness and overall coordination of the teams involved. We find ways to talk down the opposing teams creating a temporal division and trying to make mockery of other team so it pains the others, most especially when they're losing. They on the other side defend themselves by finding the weak points in your own team and point it out in a bid to save face.

The only  impact I remember is that it delays the dinner time as we have a lot of fun from it. It doesn't in any way affect our relationship with each other. Same thing  applies to to my friends. I think those violent ones during football arguments are those that have staked carelessly in the losing team's favor and can't bear the slightest statements that validates their loss, also some addicts too who's disappointments have now turn into bitterness and frustration.

There's no serious division, there's only factions that throw  vocal jabs at each other to have some real fun watching soccer. Anything rather than that is irrational.

For almost everything that has got and advantage, has aswell got a disadvantage equally so it very normal to see that football can actually unit total strangers and at the same time still cause some temporary disunity amongst some individuals even family members but then it will have to be that these people are are not taking the disunity beyond the football game so they can still come back together on the bases of their family ties and all that.

Some football fans can actually be really aggressive with they way they show support to their teams and this can actually be seen as unhealthy but nevertheless they shouldn't be allowed to use such fanatic attitude to mess things up around their environs and aswell affect others negatively, it's important to always keep a watch on these types of fans so they don't become a menace to the society at Large.

Exactly! not just football but every sports there is, there are no problems in football or anything its the fan or the people who is being too emersed in the match that they will let their anger or inappropriate personality take over, its okay for a family or friend to have a division when it comes to sports betting or watching sports matches, the bad part is that people are tend to be more involved in the match that's the reason why, especially if there's an money involved, it is famous in our country, even they are not using betting app, among a certain group they are placing their bets on a sports match especially in NBA, and because of the tension sometimes they let their strong emotion take over which is their fault, not the betting or the sports itself, so it is not good to blame the football as it is also happening in every sports.

Our country is not a football country, we are a basketball-crazy country and we are the first country with a professional league in our region.
Since we are a basketball-crazy country, people here have been loyal fans of teams for generations but the community is more disciplined knowing that every team in the organization will be banded together to represent the team in international events like the World Cup and Olympic.
It's okay to be loyal to a team but blind loyalty is not good if you have to quarrel with your relatives and friends.

That's because of fanaticism which makes people divided even though they come from the same root. Because fanaticism for a team is a very strong thing and it can turn toxic when the person feels that other people who are not in the same community are trying to beat their favorite team. I'm not trying to blame those who are too fanatical about their team, but their fanaticism can be toxic for other people and if it gets to that stage it can no longer be tolerated - especially if it leads to acts of vandalism, crime, etc.
