Now the france are chief commander in the operation to Walk in russia.
France could get russian oil and gas i see a lot motivation of Marcon to run this operation.
Anyways the problem is only Putin as they said...possible that Putin will be made as ghadarffi was ,the ghardaffi had all the money and power and life what he could dream about and still he did not doing as france told Him to do it.
Putin. Also had a nice castle in Southern france, but let's see If he change the mind and take some offer, probably can be changed by USA UK france powers new leader the new leader who cooperate more then Putin.
But lybia had also a lot resources...those countries hot always where is oil and gas.

I don't think Gadaffi's Libya and Putin's Russia are comparable. And Putin now has idea how the west works do destroy a nation.
It's not as easy to buy off Russian nationals and they have a much better counter espionage network.  And more of all, they would not want to destabilize a nuclear power.

I personally don't think those comparisons are valid, because the geopolitical context of Lybia and Russia and very different.
It is true that both Lybia and Russia have very valuable natural resources and they had/have leaders which are quite antagonistic against the interest of the Western democracy, but one of the biggest differences between Ghdsrfi's Lybka and Putin's Russia is the nuclear Arsenal the Kremlin has.
If you pay attention to the history of United States interference around the world and on countries which were considered to be undemocratic or anti-american, the USA has never taken their chances against any of those countries which happen to have nuclear weapons.

Take North Korea, for example, they are a relatively small anti-american country with little chance in a frontal confrontation, and still they are untouchable because the arsenal they have managed to accumulate in the lastest decades.
I am afraid, it is a pretty similar situation with Russia, Putin will stay in the same position of power, probably until his death.

The similarities between Russia and Libia, is that they both have rich natural resources that is sought after in the world today and Ghadafi was anti American, same with Putin, other than this, as far as warfares goes, you can not compare Libia with Russia. The fact is clear, Russia, is not a walkover in terms of warfare, you cannot attack them and go to sleep, they have deadly weapons in their arsenal, like the nuclear weapon, so that's where the big difference between these two countries lies. I think that it's dialogue and reaching a compromise that can end the Russian, Ukraine war, not not planning to attack Russia, because the aftermath will be disastrous.

Invalid comparison expect the natural resources the ground situation in these two countries are very different and Putin is much smarter than Gaddafi and he knows how west has been using the dictators for their purpose and once they go against their interest they are eliminated through coup or by assassination. We have Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi are prime example of how west can use and throw the leaders but Putin is different and also Russia have nuclear arsenal hence west cant do much and can't even put pressure on Russia.

OP, I see not for the first that you're posting complete nonsense in Politics board.  What correlation you can draw between Putin and Ghadafi? Probably only relation is that both are dictators and their countries have a lot of natural resources. But rest, you can't compare what weight and influence in international politics they have/had, size of army or finally, one didn't had nuclear weapon behind himself, other one is head of biigest nuclear state in the world.
I don't know from where did you got that France have plans to invade Russia or Macron wants to kill Putin.

Interesting topic right here but the two examples you gave is out of place as you can't compare the two countries as the circumstances that led to the NATO forces entering lybia
The the only reason that made NATO lead by french forces to invade lybia was because it was an African country and the country's leaders Gaddafi was not taking instructions from them the ( NATO) superpowers who think that what ever they seems good is good and what ever they seems bad is bad
Gaddafi was helpless and not even his African countries could help him out in the war because they are all puppet in the hands of these superpowers
But Russia is a different ball game all together as Russia is also a superpower with nuclear weapons and with allies like north Korea, china ready to join the war if NATO and their so called french enters Russia
Infact to cut the story short french don't have what it takes to enter Russia and drive away Putin and begin to enjoy Russia oil and gas

Comparison is not permissible between the two countries in their struggle against NATO. In addition to the difference in economic power and global power position, Russia has a long history with wars and military experience capable of responding to deterring all forms of aggression, unlike Libya, which did not emerge as an independent state until after Italy’s defeat in World War II.
The most notable difference between Putin and Gaddafi is that the former leads a strong state, while the latter leads a state that is unable to protect itself due to his failed policies internally and externally.

This is a meaningless comparison, and I do not think that France will dare to confront Russia, even with the support of NATO. The Ukrainian example is proof of this.
