A lot of us would be dead by 2140 so I wouldn’t even bother saying what is my current age. Instead let’s talk about the oldest living person right now which is Branyas Morera and she’s 116 years old . Let us say you somehow end up being one of a kind person and you live a lot longer than most people… how will you approach bitcoin by then? I know for a fact that bitcoin is here to stay but will it stay as the number one cryptocurrency for the next century? I don’t think so but if ever it is and you already bought your coins now and hold them until 2140… I am sure your kids and their kids even will be comfortable already no matter what

1.By 2140 I will be 150 years old and I won't be alive for sure. I don't believe that the humans will successfully turn into cyborgs in the upcoming several decades.
2.That's a weird question. Why would anyone in a Bitcoin forum have an excuse to NOT invest or own Bitcoins? You should ask this question in a forum or group of Bitcoin/crypto haters, who will have plenty of excuses to not invest in BTC.
Why should we even care about the long term future of Bitcoin(after 100 years or more). Nobody can predict what will happen after 100+ years. Maybe quantum computers will destroy the blockchain. Maybe digital money(both fiat and crypto) will become obsolete.

I’d be dead by 2140 and it would take a miracle for me to be still
alive by that time. I am already holding bitcoin but for others
who do not have bitcoin: it’s either they just don’t believe in it or
it’s too expensive and they can’t afford it. The latter is a justified
reason to be honest, it’s unfortunate but you can’t just throw everything just
to buy bitcoin. So I would understand if not all people can buy bitcoin.

But bitcoin will be here for the next 100 years so I say work hard right now
until you can finally afford to buy some bitcoin.

BTC will be fully in existence and all mining activities will have to cease at the time.

I though this was basic knowledge for all Bitcoin supporters, that mining doesn't stop even after the entire Bitcoin supply has been mined.

But I don't understand this, can you explain more clearly? When all 21 million bitcoins have been mined, what does it mean to maintain mining machines? And who will operate those miners if they are no longer profitable for miners? I believe that if the price of bitcoin does not continue to increase and is no longer profitable for miners, then miners will soon give up mining and we do not need to wait until all the bitcoins are mined.

Also, we have no certainty that bitcoin will exist until then, discussion of what will happen in the next 100 years is quite vague.

The year 2120 may come to earth but in that year 2140 I may not be alive on earth especially at the current average life expectancy of human being I have spent 40% of my life time so I may not be alive till 2100. Now my current age is 27 years so in 2140 my age will be 146 years which is not possible for a human being to live that long. Or in some other way there is no guarantee that one will live to be 146 unless a miracle occurs.

Halving experience in Bitcoin makes me to respect it's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, he really programed it to outlive everybody that's alive during the this period of it's adoption. So there's no need wondering if this valuable asset will outlive all of us, so we didn't have to worry about whether Bitcoin will vanish before our eyes, because it has been programmed from it's creation to outlive us. I don't see why at this stage of Bitcoin awareness, why people can still be skeptical about it's value in the future, I believe that in the far future, Bitcoin will take over most fiats, if not all of them.

No man on this forum will be alive by 2140 and it doesnt bother me for any reason, I plan to stay for many years if God willing but seeing the future is not in my power to deliver, I just want to have a great life and leave a good example behind, money is a must as this will make your life more easier, there is nothing that money can do for you than this.

I have no reason to be out of Bitcoin, and as a matter of fact, Bitcoin turned my life around, the shame, the guilt, all the lookdown on me turned around when I came across bitcoin and today I am a multi millionaire in my currency, I plan to teach my offspring about embracing technologies, not even Bitcoin only, because the future will be more into tech than it is right now.

Tell me, would this earth still be in existence in 2140? Or would we humans probably destroyed it by then? I mean, look at the way the world is going. Well, it doesn’t even matter because there’s only going to be a super little amount of us who could be alive by then. Some of us have already lived half our lives and would be about maybe 140 - 170 years by then. Even for those birthed right now, they’ll be 115 years at that time, and that’s a lot.

Even if we can live till 2140, but my question is can we keep our bitcoins till then? People are planning to sell bitcoin when bitcoin reaches $100k or $1 million in the future to escape from miserable life and enjoy life. And holding bitcoin for 4 years or 10 years is an extremely difficult challenge and not too many people can do it, so never think about holding bitcoin for 50 years or 100 years. That sounds funny.

Also, there is no guarantee that bitcoin can exist or still be used until then, look at the development of technology and I believe that in the future something better than bitcoin will be created go out.

I think that, realistically, none of us, who are currently on this forum, will even be close to surviving to the day when all BTC is mined. That being said, the most of Bitcoin has already been mined, and we'll likely live to the time when Bitcoin mining becomes insignificant because such small amounts are being mined. So the transition from mining to getting rewards mainly from transaction fees will happen gradually, and I don't think there will be any problems with Bitcoin once it's all mined. Unless, of course, other major events make Bitcoin no longer relevant at that distant point in time.

1. I'm more than 100 years old already at that time, but before I will die (*knock, knock), I will make sure that I will teach my children how to invest, and of course Bitcoin itself. I will make sure as well that they will teach it to their children through telling them the importance of investing in our lives, and how it can change our lives forever.
2. Hmmm, I don't need to excuse myself because I've been investing Bitcoin ever since 2018. It was a small amount though, but at least I'm investing.

TBH, I'm kind of thinking that this forum will be gone by 2140 already. Maybe people who are alive at that time will use a different forum or a different website to share their opinion there. The technology at that time has evolved that much already that we might see huge developments around Bitcoin and other coins as well or worse, Bitcoin might be non-existent at that time anymore because there's a new coin that has been created that obviously better than Bitcoin. I hope it will not happen, but I'm dead at that time so... I don't want to think too much about it.

Judging from the average life expectancy of people living around the world, I don't think there will still be anyone currently alive to witness 2140, which is approximately 116yrs from today, but only if in the future there wont be super humans with the power to live as long as they like through the use of technology. Lolz. But however, I have just been able to make a brief research about the average lifespan of people living all around the world, and as such, I was able to realize that the average life expectancy for people differs from one continent to another, of which  European & Oceanians happens to be the only continent with the longest average life expectancy in the world of 81yrs for woman and 75/76yrs for male, as shown below.

In the part of the world where I'm from, especially in my locality, it's hard to see someone who is aged between 100 and 150 years; they're barely seen. 
 
And if the last block is never going to be mined on the speculated date, then there is enough time for everyone to enjoy their life, both with bitcoin and what they do outside of that.

I think most of the people will not be alive in the year of 2140 and nobody knows that what will be the situations in 2140 so enjoy the current life instead of thinking about 2140.
If we invest for taking benefit in 2140 then I think that we will not be able to enjoy our wealth currently and we also don't know that what will be the benefit of such investment for us.

We are unable to know about our life after an hour so how we can imagine a profit from bitcoin after 115 years. Such thing is just waste of time nothing else and saving and investment is necessary but I think that if we plan for such for longer period of time where there is no guarantee of our life is not a good idea.
