BTC will be fully in existence and all mining activities will have to cease at the time.

I though this was basic knowledge for all Bitcoin supporters, that mining doesn't stop even after the entire Bitcoin supply has been mined.

But I don't understand this, can you explain more clearly? When all 21 million bitcoins have been mined, what does it mean to maintain mining machines? And who will operate those miners if they are no longer profitable for miners? I believe that if the price of bitcoin does not continue to increase and is no longer profitable for miners, then miners will soon give up mining and we do not need to wait until all the bitcoins are mined.

Also, we have no certainty that bitcoin will exist until then, discussion of what will happen in the next 100 years is quite vague.

It's a bit of a surprise that somebody who is a hero member and has been on the forum for more than 8 years thinks that mining stops as soon as all coins are mined.

Anyway, the role of miners is not merely to mine or extract coins as if they're miners of gold or whatever precious stone and metal, such that when the supply is depleted there's nothing else to mine and the operations stop. The role of miners in the Bitcoin system is to process transactions and add them to the blockchain. So, they continue to have an essential role even after the last Satoshi is mined. Transactions won't be confirmed without them.

If it isn't anymore profitable to mine, then many will stop. As a result, the difficulty in mining will fall. It may reach to a point when even a personal computer at home could be able to perform it. In which case, profit would be realized once again.

Whether we want to or not, we cannot wait until all coins are mined. We'd all be dead by then.

Of course the role of miners may have to only become restricted to fewer tasks of which involves adding blocks of transactions to the Blockchain. The fees they earn by then may have to be lower than it is now and am sure only fewer miners will stick to just that task and this may lead some into other areas.

Who's to say whether the roles of miners will be lesser, if not more?
 We know that innovations can be developed to involve the help of miners and developers and just like the idea of cryptocurrencies, such innovations can help reshape the human race of technology and the fact that Blockchain technology doesn't only serve the cryptocurrency or mining industry makes whatever happens before 2140 very unpredictable for me except for Bitcoin idea of halving already in motion and would be complete by 2140.

AI, web3, Hedera Hashgraph, virtual reality is already being integrated into several sectors and soon don't we think AI will take over the jobs of miners before 2140, even if we don't get to be alive by then?

2140 is very far friends, even the average human age is below 90 years per person, maybe we predict the lives of our grandchildren someday . Indeed, this is like a prediction that will happen, but look at the new bitcoin, if the assumption is 2008 to date, it means that bitcoin is only 16 years old. We're already growing old and there's absolutely nothing achieved to them, we're just rooming and looking for opportunities that will change my life for good. I know the role of miners is not only to mine bitcoins but they also play the role of processing transactions on the bitcoin blockchain. But as I emphasized, people continue to mine bitcoin because they still enjoy large profits from mining. But once all the bitcoins are mined, profits will certainly decrease significantly, and maintaining mining machines just to process transactions will not be feasible. Because the cost of mining machines is very expensive, not to mention other additional costs, but if it is as you say then we can use personal computers to process transactions at that time. The cost of a mining machine is expensive because it gives you a huge profit!
When the reward goes to zero, then miners live on from fees and if the income is 100$ a day , there will be 100 miners splitting those into 1$ revenue per day and mine with a cheap miner with 4 chips and 4th/s. Bitcoin mining is not a traditional industry, the amount spent of bitcoin minign can go to zero, this doesn't mean suddenly there won't be any miners left, it takes one guy one asic and the chain goes on!

It's expensive now to run gear that will mine you the share of 1 btc because one BTC is worth 70k!
The daily reward is $59,171,021, if the daily reward will be just $59,171 there will simply be 1000x less mining machines!

I don't imagine any of us will be able to witness the last block being mined due to age - but mining will continue if miners are still making a profit from the activity. The lower the rewards they get, the fewer miners will be able to survive - meaning there will be fewer miners over time because they are unable to cover expensive operational costs.

Try to focus on the short term, for example the next 50 years – imagine how many mining industries are still surviving because the rewards are getting lower. I'm sure there are a lot of miners who quit because the rewards decrease - that will happen, but I think miners are still around.

I have laid the foundation and my children who would take after me will continue the steps i have taken. Well, as someone still relatively young, I don't anticipate being alive by then, considering I'm currently 24. When you add 24 to 115, it equals 139 or 140. I doubt I'll still be alive by then, and even if I am, I may not understand or see value in investing in anything at that point. Just for the record, I'd probably be the oldest by then if I'm still around. So Bitcoin may not hold much significance for me at that time. it may be more relevant to my children, grandchildren, or even great-grandchildren.

However, one advantage I'll have by then is the knowledge of Bitcoin. That's why I'm grateful for the exposure I have to Bitcoin now. Whether I live to that period isn't my main concern. If bitcoin really becomes popular and used globally, then we don't need to worry too much about educating our children about bitcoin. Because then the government and educational institutions will do it and do it even better than us. Additionally, educating children about bitcoin too early is not necessarily a good thing because it is not something that should be a top priority at their age.

Without a doubt, you are correct. The age is huge, who could hit his or her chest and say that they pray to be alive and see 2140? By then, none of the people in this forum will be alive. Even a newborn will only be about 115 or 116 at that point, talk more about people who are already above 30.
