I've seen folks earn with the testnet and I think that they're still hot on this current season of the market. But once this bull run ends by next year or so, you won't see that often for these projects that  asks for test net airdrops.

I think the best way you can get risk free trading is to quit trading because there is no such way in trading where you're not having risks.

If you want to reduce the risk then there could be some options. If you want to invest into meme coins I'll advise you to only invest a small amount in them because they're very volatile.

I agree with you. OP asked how to make money from cryptocurrency. That means you can earn money with big risks or small risks. Trading on an exchange or testnet carries a small risk of loss because on the exchange you can cut losses or take other loss prevention steps. Testnet does not require a lot of capital and you can get big profits by becoming a tester. But meme coins have big risks. I do not recommend that you, especially if you are a beginner, invest in meme coins.

In all coins, you could suffer from loss especially if you won't have any investment plan. It just happened that the market value of memecoins are more volatile than with others. Memecoins are still profitable as an investment if you would be able to manage the risk within its market price volatility. With P2E, actually only a few are sustainable in the long run so I guess token investment will still be a better option in the long run but it does depend on the token you would invest into.

Ways to earn at this point is with signature campaigns, airdrops, event participation and the likes. Good thing is that many airdrops at the present are paying than with before wherein 80% are scam and just a waste of time. Investment is simply an option to those who have the capability to do so but for those who cannot, try offering services by means of employement or partnership that pays cryptocurrency.

Everyone is looking for airdrops, trading, and many other methods to make money, most of them looking for "easy" ways too. Like being part of funding a new project before release, so that they would get a lot, or just "clicking" on some game to make a lot of some token that doesn't even have a value yet because one of them made some money to people.

Having some passive income maybe a few bucks out of your holdings would be good. This is popular on exchanges but as with the risk, you have no custody of your asset and that's why until now for me remains as an idea and plan.
