Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024?

I have been thinking about making money in cryptocurrency, but I'm hesitant to try because I don't want to get scammed i.e. didn't get any rewards for the effort I spent. I'm really curious with the current hype in 2024 and how much you've make from it? I know that scam is inevitable in altcoins, so I might be looking to earn with less risk.

What I know the current hypes in 2024 are:
1. Testnet airdrop
2. Meme coins

What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token.
What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore.

Probably I missed other hypes or if you know the another way of making money, feel free to comment.

     But for p2E games, I have no idea at the moment, and I am not updated on that matter. Because I'm more focused on long-term holdings and I'm becoming a meme coin hunter because I also think that it looks like meme coin season, this is the bull run period from what I'm observing. I hope my assessment of my thoughts on meme coins is true.

But I think you should pay attention to your investment because if you research and start investing from top coins then you will get good amount of money from here when bull season starts.

You're right but i think the reason why most people consider airdrop as the best way of making money is because most people don't have capital to invest, but with the help of airdrop  you can be able to raise a little capital to start up the investment. though is very hard to get a legit airdrop this time most of those airdrop that is trending in the social media this days happens to be scam, However i think you're right by choosing investment as the best way to make money in this Crypto space.

I think it's quite clear that we are going to end up with a better result if we know what we are doing, and considering how it's moving right now I would say that finding a job is easier. The reason it got easier is because there are a lot more places looking for people to hire, and that means if you have a skill then you may find a job.

I don't understand one thing, why nowadays most people follow meme quizzes and airdrops? Thousands and millions of people have lost in it yet I see every other person wants to get rich from airdrops and meme coins. You don't think meme coins and fake airdrops make trading infamous enough?

Losses happen to people due to their own greed and wrong choices and later they blame trading and cryptocurrency. And those who, after putting money in any such coin, sit down thinking that if we are lucky, we will win, I see nothing but foolishness, because there is no action of luck in it if one fake project has been created and it has only been created for taking your money away, so someone tell me, where fate intervened in it, obviously it was created to rob people and it will rob people and go away.

However recently I was quite disappointed with Zksync's retroactivity because I spent more than $300 in capital but was not eligible for the airdrop. If what you mean is mining Bitcoin, I think that method is no longer effective and efficient if you start today. Bitcoin has halved and miner rewards have been halved to only around 3.25 btc. In 2024 the way to earn income from crypto is by participating in airdrops or speculating on meme coins. Mining will require a lot of costs because electricity is very expensive.

The biggest hope I had was p2e games, I really expected those to grow like insane. Making an AAA game is quite tough, and definitely not an easy thing neither, plus online games are even harder than single player games (or co-op) because it requires a constant server connection that can't be hacked, hackers will try their chances to put more tokens in their own hands.

However, it is also not a requirement to make GTA6 levels of graphics, make it like stardew valley level if you want to and you would be fine. Look at Manor Lords, that game was a solo dev too, sure took years, but it has been 3-4 years since first p2e and we still haven't seen a decent one. I guarantee you, if anyone makes any fairly simple but good quality p2e, we are going to see it skyrocket into top 10 rankings easily.

well, if investing is included, then trading is also included, and that makes these two things the best way currently to earn crypto, even increase our assets. But that can only happen if I've got enough capital to do my own mining stuff. Other than that, the cost of starting your own mining journey isn't cheap anymore.

Honestly? Even if it was cheap, I wouldn't really want to be a miner. Why? Because of the things that could go wrong, and I usually do see those things as well. Like halving happened but price didn't rise that much, so while they mine half of what they used to, they still do not sell twice as they used to. Or a machine could broke and you would have to get everything back, even if you are not dealing with bitcoin and don't worry about halving, you still face the issues of damaged goods.

What if suddenly a fire breaks out? Maybe insurance will cover the items costs, which is doubtful to get exact price, but what about missing profits? So all in all, the amount of things that can go wrong is very troublesome and I would rather not do it.

Those airdrops are only for the patient and considering that amount of time, some airdrop hunters might've already forgotten about the project that they joined with.
I was an airdrop seeker before but I stopped due to the fact that it could be frustrating sometimes that many coins that you support either in Telegram or Social media will end up as dust or worse no value at all.
Sometimes I get zero of 20 and there are times I get a valuable one.
Still, I am not recommending this to anyone as a way to make money in cryptocurrencies. There's no assurance to it and sometimes it's all frustrations that you will get instead of a happy ending. It could become a waste of time and effort.
