Character reformation and attitudinal change? Your Opinion please!

I can't forget how beautiful this words sounded when I first heard them from a presenter's mouth over the radio. He was speaking on how the current state of the country and its citizens need character reformation and attitudinal change.
 I guess the word just got stuck somehow and I just want to hear your humble opinion.

* How well can an individual be reformed both in character and attitude, that people will notice and become influenced by the change?

To me character reformation and attitudinal change is just as the name implies, it's a total change of character, either positive or negatively, but it mostly refered in a positive light, but as a Nigerian, the change we really need in the country, that can impact the country and our environment positively is our attitudinal change toward elections, that pattern of collecting money to vote for someone even when we know that, that person is no fit enough for that position, if we  have changed initially to that extent, we wouldn't be going through what we are experiencing presently now in the country.

You are absolutely right, on my opinion I guess character reformation and attitudinal change is the act or behaviour that encourages us to develop an idea, process of changing a political, religious, societies for a better change of improvement to the country, this behaviour can make a good change in Nigeria better than yesterday.

Question 1. Character reformation and attitude change is a personal goal if you ask me people their are many people with bad characters who knows how to cover it up on the public or in private, so if you can be honest with yourself and assess your attitude and it needs some reformation then you can work on it. So to me it means changing your negative character into something positive.

Question 2. This is also personal so we have different life's and change to one person may not be same with the other, but so long as you are doing something positive then you are on the right path.

Dem say, na good ting to dey get self awareness, compassion, and growth mindset for character and attitude change. If you get these things, e fit make you dey do better for your life and the life of the people wey dey around you.
Na no be easy task to do self awareness and compassion, but if you work hard on am, you go make progress for inside. You fit start to use small small meditation or na mindfulness exercise to help you come get more self-awareness. This one fit help you dey notice your thoughts, feelings, and actions more better. And the more you do am, the better you go understand yourself and the way you react to different things wey dey happen around you.
For compassion, you fit learn to dey show love and understanding for other people even if they no do am for you first. Na true say, dis one dey difficult, but if you try am, e go make you feel better, and you go fit help people wey dey around you feel better too. You fit start with small small things, like dey tell yourself say, "I no dey perfect, and that no mean say I no dey try". You fit also make small small talk for the people wey dey around you, so dem go know say you care about them and you no dey judge them. Na step by step work. No rush am, take your time.

Unless this country were to resort to the style of the North Korean government, wherebeit the citizens have in many cases been restricted from outside influence such as TV shows, online social apps, dress code and other things just to make them conform to the standard of rule and control by the government, then I don't see how character reformation is a one man job or  just an individual problem to begin with.

Yes, it boils down to the individual who wants to be reformed to accept the new changes and learn to live accordingly.
 It may also require the effort of the government agencies or other more concerned parties to be of good examples and  with great attitude inorder for the character reformation in an individual to take hold and bear a positive result which is clearly visible with a new approach to life and other activities.
