Getting a good night of sleep and not being tired when handling important tasks is underrated. I learned early on in life how important sleep could be just playing video games. Sometimes late at night as a kid I would struggle with a certain part of a game for hours, only to fall asleep and beat it first thing in the morning. That was enough to convince me to take sleep seriously in life.

Getting a good night of sleep and not being tired when handling important tasks is underrated. I learned early on in life how important sleep could be just playing video games. Sometimes late at night as a kid I would struggle with a certain part of a game for hours, only to fall asleep and beat it first thing in the morning. That was enough to convince me to take sleep seriously in life.

Totally, Many forget about investing on sleep and usually cut their sleep time just to increase their time to whatever they are doing while in reality you can be more productive id you sleep properly because your brain can function properly in speedy manner.

I have a terrible experience on gambling while lack of sleep due to my flu that time. I almots loss all of my life savings because I easily become tilted to chase my losses due to lack of rest from my flu. I’m just lucky that I’m able to win that time but the experience of almost losing evejust because I can’t think properly is terrible.

I think it's more dangerous to be demoralized rather than tired. For example, I've had this happen several times: I come home from a work shift and start betting. They are small, but when I see that they are not winning, I bet more. And then another and another, forgetting to eat and to sleep. And then an uncontrolled state begins - having already lost half of the deposit, tired and angry, I bet everything I have on an absolutely stupid match. And that time I was lucky - I was able to win back. But uncontrolled play in a tired state does not lead to good.

Not only gambling but everything is risky if done half asleep. Many people have met with accidents while driving half asleep.
Gambling is just the same. Whether tired or in sleep, if you are gambling in such conditions you are bound to lose your money.

I can personally attest to this as I had experience this before.

Back when I used to frequently gamble my savings, there will come a time where I am both physically and mentally tired to continue. I had this mindset of you miss 100% of the jackpots you don't take that lead me to continuously gamble despite running out of cash. More importantly, it really went downhill from that pint due to the fact that I was not in the position to think straight and rationally- all I wanted to experience was to win big.

Moral of the story: if you gamble without setting limits, you may experience fatigue that can cloud your judgement and reasoning. This is very much dangerous because you may not be able to stop with an irrational mood. You will self-destruct slowly and you would experience inevitable overexpenditure.

It is for everything that he does and not just in gambling. In school, in work and in any other activities that he'll be engaged with.

Sleep deprivation causes a lot of problems for someone that have been into active activities that he'll do. I have felt that for so many times and that's why even if I am tired and can't go to sleep, I'm trying to take as much sleep as I can.

Even some powernaps will do if you have things to do but at least get some real rest for your body isn't invulnerable, even machines breakdown when they reach their peak.
I am trying to practice those powernaps and catnaps but I cannot get it at all. Whenever I close my eyes, it's like someone is calling me to open it again and so I will. Then I will just go back to work and try to finish it as early as possible so I can try to take a nap but still no good. Cheesy
This is why I don't mess with casino games anymore.
You can keep on practicing that but don't do it when you're at work because instead of a powernap you'll get, a good night nap you'll have.

I play Plinko but I automate the bet with just small amounts so that I won't make a mistake on doubling or triple my bet from click errors. Because that happened to me before and I don't want to repeat that mistake. Lack of sleep is the cause of that mistake because I was forcing myself to play the game when I didn't know my eyes were closing for a bit until I woke up and my balance was down by a huge number. I am just lucky I got it back afterwards but the scary moment was there.
That's why when someone automates their bets, you shouldn't go asleep. You will not notice it and instead of having a good run with that automated bet that you've done.

Just as your experience, as expected, you'll just be left with nothing because you've been careless with that and another reminder not to gamble when tired.

That's a great advice to follow if you want to make sure your balance doesn't vanish in one go. It happened to me multiple times to start betting late at night while being tired and lose my entire balance because I simply was too tired to take rational decisions. Sleepiness and tiredness slows down your thought process, therefore it will be harder for you to take good and responsible decisions while gambling and it's easier than ever to lose control.
A silly decision when you feel tired and then still want to do gambling, of course your brain will respond to bad things and think more about resting and doing nothing else when tired, so when oprang who has a fever but forces yourself to bet or gamble. But if he is a gambling addict then I don't think it's strange about him, because he can't escape from gambling.

In my opinion, this problem depends more on their level of interest in gambling itself, because clearly if they are responsible gamblers who have a correct understanding of all the positive and negative aspects that can be caused by gambling then I am sure they will not dare to act excessively, such as not placing any limits, especially in terms of time, which in the end, as you said, there is a big possibility that they will prioritize their time for gambling rather than resting.

Society has made any individual that doesn't have money to be looked down on, if you don't have money you'll not be considered as a human being as you'll be disrespected always and it'll worry you therefore hustling always without sleeping until you have made money is what every individual is now doing. Many individuals don't care about their health anymore, what's important to them is how they can make money and after making the money they'll still you the money to treat their health.

But if we pay attention to our health and have good sleep when it's necessary, we can still make the money and not put our health in danger. When you feel tired, rest and don't still work or do things that'll need your brain to be active as it's not good or you'll be stressing your brain. Resting is very important and we need to do that for the least 8 hours by sleeping or we'll be stressing our brain and other body organs.

IMO i think sleeping is important so that when you are awake you will have more productive time doing what you are awake to do. The reason why am saying this is because i wished i could fall asleep easily, i rarely sleep at night so it doesn't concern people who have Insomnia. This disease was not naturally in me i got it during the time i forced myself not to sleep at night for 1 year plus and gradually it got inside of me and up till now i found it so hard fall asleep no matter how hard i try. Ever since then i had always advise people around me to give some time to sleep. 4 hours in the night and 2 hours in the afternoon is enough to carry you for a day. That is total of 6 hours a day.

But unfortunately, people with gambling addiction sometimes ignore or don't care about this condition.

at least the photo shows that drunk gambler still has a lot of chips in his position meaning he
kept winning ? but the reality is that when you are drunk you cannot decide completely and only
very few that wins ,  my uncle use to be a gambler first and indeed that he is winning but when
he also become a drunker and a gambler? yeah that starts changing their life and to the
negative effect.

Being a family person who doesn't get to have enough sleep a lot of times, I can agree with you on that. Most often, we underestimate a good night's sleep and don't get it even though we can, and then we realize how important it is when we don't get to have enough sleep for some reason, that is when we feel that we shouldn't have ruined our rest time when we had enough time for it and now that we want to rest, we can't do it because of work or anything.

I have learned this lesson in my life, and I would never sacrifice my rest or sleep for anything including gambling. I believe anything can be done when you are healthy and fresh and there is no point in spending all your time on something and then deduct that time from your sleep or rest time. It's not a good deal, honestly.

Hi ,

From a personal experience that happened to me not long ago, and I want to share it with you guys.

After a hard day's work, and as usual every night before going to sleep, I make some bets on football matches and then i look for a game to pass some time. That night I wanted to play the crash game, knowing that I used to play it almost every day. I started playing and i was changing the amount of money, the bet from one round to the next, and the amount was very small, from 20 dollars to 40. After the start, a few minutes later, I did not understand what happened. I opened my eyes and saw the amount of 500 dollars written on the screen. When I looked closely, I found that I had bet on it and lost the bet for a trivial reason, which is that I made a mistake. When writing a number due to exhaustion and fatigue.
As I was not able to see clearly, to be honest with you, that drowsiness took over and I could not sleep that night as I felt very disappointed because that amount for me was too large to lose it in a game like this.

 In general, I realized my mistake and no longer made my bets while I was tired. Concentration is the most important thing in any effort we make, and we must always be at full mental strength, as there are many factors that may affect your chances of winning or losing.

Getting a good night of sleep and not being tired when handling important tasks is underrated. I learned early on in life how important sleep could be just playing video games. Sometimes late at night as a kid I would struggle with a certain part of a game for hours, only to fall asleep and beat it first thing in the morning. That was enough to convince me to take sleep seriously in life.
Very correct sir, the importance of sleep is greatly overlooked by many but its effectiveness can definitely not be ignored. Sometimes my remedies to curing a bad losing streak is just a good night sleep and the next day my head and thinking is straighten up and the results will definitely turn out differently. This is correct but what I don’t understand on your case is why do you still gamble if your mind is already exhausted and can’t play gambling anymore. Gambling main purpose is to provide entertainment while you are doing the opposite which is using it for exhaustion which will surely give you the worst result.

500$ is too big just to lose on a gambling session that you didn’t even enjoy. It’s like being rob but worse because you are just exhausted yourself on game that took away your money. I think you should start to learn how to use gambling properly.
There's a surprising number of people who think they can gamble when tired, seeing it as a way to 'let the nerves off and unwind' so to speak not knowing that it can't be that way cause when you gamble, you need to always be attentive of what's going on in the screen, lest you risk falling to the same stint as OP.

I've been a victim of this activity in the past as well, back when I don't have the slightest idea for why I gamble, Initially, and back when I still play almost everyday with my friends, I saw it as nothing but a way for us to bond and have fun together, when that died down I saw it as a means to earn quick cash, given the fact that I was good at some of the games too, eventually when that didn't work out I only saw it as a way to relax, massive mistake as this is when I started losing money for no particular reason, and happily I should say, as of now, I only ever see it as a temporary rendezvous that I go to every now and again when I don't feel like doing anything and I haven't been busy.

Getting a good night of sleep and not being tired when handling important tasks is underrated. I learned early on in life how important sleep could be just playing video games. Sometimes late at night as a kid I would struggle with a certain part of a game for hours, only to fall asleep and beat it first thing in the morning. That was enough to convince me to take sleep seriously in life.

Totally, Many forget about investing on sleep and usually cut their sleep time just to increase their time to whatever they are doing while in reality you can be more productive id you sleep properly because your brain can function properly in speedy manner.

I have a terrible experience on gambling while lack of sleep due to my flu that time. I almots loss all of my life savings because I easily become tilted to chase my losses due to lack of rest from my flu. I’m just lucky that I’m able to win that time but the experience of almost losing evejust because I can’t think properly is terrible.
You are indeed lucky if you got it all back from a mistake that could've been the biggest regret of your life if it goes south. Well, this kind of experience will be a good lesson for us too and without it happening we may not realize that we badly need that rest first so that we can think straight.
I also had my own experience in this kind of situation where lack of sleep became an issue but it was not because of the flu or something like a sickness, my only reason was that I stayed up all night chasing my losses and then I wake up way too early just because I want to continue getting back all of it.
It's a wrong thing to do and I learned my lesson the hard way.
