I have to agree with you that this is a bit weird! Why would they ask you to go through a seven day exclusion when you clearly requested a permanent exclusion and you already confessed that you are a trouble gambler?
You mentioned something about them changing their self-exclusion policies. Sorry if I missed it, but can you share screenshots of their previous and current policies so we can see what they did change? Also, screenshots of your full conversation with customer support would be much appreciated. (Make sure to make the size a little smaller).
Understood. I’ll answer briefly and keep this at a high level.
Bitz required a 7-day self-exclusion even after a clear request for permanent exclusion and disclosure of a gambling addiction. At the same time, Bitz stated that initiating the 7-day exclusion was impossible because the Responsible Gaming section was under maintenance and non-functional. Support further stated that manual self-exclusion was impossible and that no alternative safeguards could be applied. This included no ability to block deposits, set limits, restrict gameplay, close the account, or otherwise intervene at all.
As you can deduce, for a period of roughly nine days Bitz rendered self-exclusion and any responsible gambling protections effectively impossible. Only on December 16, after a formal demand letter and escalation, did Bitz reverse course and manually apply account exclusion.
I’m deliberately not posting full screenshots or transcripts in the ANN. The complete record, including historical versions of the self-exclusion policy, broken Responsible Gaming links referenced in the Terms, and full support chats, has already been submitted to AskGamblers and Casino Guru for independent review.
Since this was raised, Bitz has remained silent here, silent on Trustpilot, and initially refused to engage with AskGamblers until the complaint was closed for non-participation and later reopened. Bitz is free to clarify or rebut any of this publicly at any time.
My preference is for this to be resolved through independent mediators. If Bitz continues to stonewall and the record is fully developed at AskGamblers and Casino Guru, I will then post a full scam accusation so players can evaluate Bitz based on documented conduct rather than promotional narratives or signature campaign impressions.
It is not an exaggeration to say Bitz committed the most egregious responsible gambling violations I have seen in my years online. These were breaches at time zero, before a single deposit or bet was made, followed by active inducement to gamble and ultimately a $5,000 cash refund offer. Casinos do not offer four-figure refunds where no wrongdoing exists.
