Seems like the narrative is shifting from Solana to BNB chains. Over the past few weeks, I've noticed Solana dominating the meme space with memes like SLERF, BOME, WIF, BONK, BENDOG
gaining significant traction. However, recently, it appears that the momentum has slowed down, and other chains like BASE, BLAST and BNB are gaining prominence.

I came across a meme on BNB called $PUMP, which has a catchy name that caught my attention. With 100k followers on Twitter and trading available top cex markets, I believe this token might perform well and kickstart BNB memeseason Therefore, I'm here to seek the opinions of fellow meme enthusiasts.

I don’t think momentum has slowed down on SOL network. Only the last few days really crazy memecoins have been pumping hard on SOL. I assume these things go in phases, people move from chain to chain, wherever the money is. I think MATIC seems to be creeping into the picture too.

The trend of meme coins is not exclusive to any single block chain, and it didn't originate with Solana. I think the Doge was the earliest meme coin launched on its own chain long time ago. However, it came in lime light in 2021 when Elon Musk promoted it and its price went skyrocketing from few cents to more than 60 cents.

In 2021, large number of meme coins were launched on BNB and eventually they lost their most of value.

The creation of meme coins a way for some developers to make quick money by selling worthless digital assets. Consequently we should not pay much attention to them and continue accumulating Bitcoin and Ethereum those are well recognized digital assets with substantial growth potential.

I am seeing this as a marketing stratgey from the base core team. They saw how crazy the community is about meme coin so they just use this tactics used by solana team to bring more tvl in base ecosystem. First solana then avax and now base. We will probably see more ecosystem joining this hype to bring more liquidity to their ecosystem.

OP, you forgot to add Ton to the mix. After the success of its first memetoken – Ton Fish that did extremely well and considering Ton chain's affiliation to the so much talked about tapping  bot on Telegram, Notcoin, there has been momentum in that part of this industry of recent. Its second meme project TonPet (TPet) that was launched today also received great attention, sweeping quickly past its softcap of 1000 Ton. Solana, BNB now have a strong competition in Ton.

BTW, I think Ton deserves a looking, especially now that it's the darling of telegram wallet. I'm sure not many know yet that there's a telegram wallet with a P2P enabled on it. Just make sure to save your seedphrase if you're using it and then link an email address to it to enable a recovery process in case there's a loss of telegram account or a ban.

The momentum my have slowed down, probably because of so many rug pulls, but at the moment I think Solana is leading the meme coin game in terms of Transactions. The base hype was mostly due to some paid shills over the past couple of weeks, but we will see how long this goes on

Meme coins are having a good time. There are cycles going on in raising the price of meme coins new and old irrespective of the network they are in. Still in the mix, solana based tokens are in the largest number. If you look at the last 24 hours, a meme coin called dingo made 150%+ rise and it's not even a new coin. DINGO is a meme coin in BNB network and is from 2022. So, there's no certainty about which coin could be the next to make a rise as even the older meme coins are being accumulated that could go for another ATH.

Well coins will never have a linear increase or decrease in price especially with memecoins. It is not all the time that solana would be at the top as there are just too many memecoins popping out left and right and people are always going to be looking for the next coin to invest in. But I still think that solana is a worthwhile investment and it not being at the very top currently does not mean that its phase is over. I think investors still have a good chance at making some profits from solana.

If Solana continues to develop its technology and attract more users and developers it could increase demand for the coin and potentially increase its price. It is impossible to predict the exact price of SOL as it will depend on many factors that are difficult to predict. Based on the current trend and potential for growth and adoption the SOL price may reach higher growth by the end.

I do not think that the momentum has slowed down on Solana. It is still growing and every day a new meme coin is coming up on the blockchain. You can check the number of meme coins on Solana by visiting this page of coingecko. I do not think the BNB chain can beat that number and I feel Solana will know more for its meme coins in the future than utility projects. The demand for SOL is more than BNB or ETH in the market you can easily compare their prices. SOL is still pumping when the market is in red and it is going strong whereas BNB and ETH are not doing so well as of now.

Yes, I agree with you. The transaction fees in Solana are very cheap, in addition to the great speed of transactions. Unlike other chains, these advantages made the Solana blockchain more attractive to Memecoins and investors. Moreover, The NFTs markets and the decentralized exchanges on Solana also helped to adopt and create memcoins on this network. Solana's scalability and big capabilities have truly made it the popular network for Memecoins and gained hype after the success of many coins built on it, such as BOME, WIF, and SLERF. It is worth noting that Solana has been operating since 2021 in the meme sector,, making it an old and established competitor in this sector.

I agree with @Mpamaegbu that the Ton network has started gaining momentum and has launched many new meme coins so far. These coins have shown investor interest as they have achieved huge liquidity in public sales through the TonUP Launchpad platform. Regardless of which network the coin is built on, the most important thing is the availability of huge communities for the coin and the attention of influencers and whales to achieve remarkable success.

I just look that the momentum has reflected on other memecoins as well that is why you see increase in BNB projects as well but many others said SOL is leading the memecoin sector probably due to its cheap transaction fee nature compared to other network and this season will last until people fee they faced enough rug pulls related to memecoins.

There's still that much attention with the meme coins on sol network. Don't think of it that there were some slumps that has happened to the market and showed that those memes on the sol network have dropped means that they're all falling down. IMHO, most of the memes are still in and it just depends on where the crowd goes and how the marketing works for the memes that have got that much attention through hype of the communities that they're in.

There might be shifts from Solana, BNB and other blochains in terms of top memecoins, but as it is today Solana, remains at the top with more memecoins in their network, this shows that investors are really buying into memes in this season, to take their chances at getting returns on their investments on the short term. Solana, has an edge over most other chains because of their low transaction fees, I believe that is why it's network is gaining ground with more memecoins on it.

its always random pattern with meme shifting blockchain usually the massive rally of these meme coins happened random too so i'm not really sure there has been history of meme coin becoming popular in solana and blockchain but in base i think mostly just some meme NFT and any similar kind of that, so I don't think the narrative has truly shifted yet.
therefore i will still try to snipes in solana chain for the new meme coin but of course its not advised for anyone to try since it carries huge risk.
also,the thing with BNB is that usually its fully infested with random meme coin that worth nothing not worth putting attention into therefore i'm kinda pessimistic.
I believe the chance of new meme coin emerging that could reach hundred million dollars market cap are still in solana because the ecosystem itself is supportive.

Its just the other devs want to test out if they can get a great market by using BNB and some of them are successful with this before also no doubt if they know how to play with hype so they can make people curious and insert a feeling that there's something great to happen then they have chance to succeed whatever network they used.  But for now I see less meme coin created on BNB network since as you have said many choose solona because a lot of people are keeping there eye on this network since they see that lots of new altcoin which create trend are in this network and they expect to earn since that is what they usually see especially that they can ride with the hype brought by bitcoin halving season.

It is impossible to predict the exact price of SOL as it will depend on many factors that are difficult to predict. Based on the current trend and potential for growth and adoption the SOL price may reach higher growth by the end.

They already have the momentum, so it's now going to be easy for them to do what you are telling there. They need to show to the public that they are a worthy project to pick up and keep for the long term by fixing their past issues and give compensation by releasing more quality updates. It's hard to predict the price of a non-stable crypto and all of us here are only guessing.

The meme narrative right now is still for Solana and it may continue like this for quite some time. BNB is old and its meme narrative is already over, while BASE might be a new thing and it will need to prove its worth first before the narrative transfers to it.
