Karate Combat competition is full-contact karate league that exist since 2018 but they are getting more popular recently with release of their app and $Karate crypto token.
You can pick your favorite fighters and win better ranking position and Karate tokens each time your fighters win.

Anthony Pettis is another big MMA name that competed in Karate Combat and I think I saw few more there.
Some of you maybe know that Ben Armstrong better known as Bitboy also had one fight in Karate Combat and he won.

Actually this is the first time I’m hearing about this (I might have heard or read it somewhere before though), I’ve downloaded the app so that I can check it out myself and have hands on experience with it.

So far, I’ve downloaded it and was awarded 88$karate tokens (that’s very nice since newcomers will have something to vote with and wouldn’t have to buy before they can start using it).


By the way, will this thread be serving as an Ann for the site? Or you just thought it would be nice to share with the community thus why you created the thread.

I can't access his website, but I looked at his apps in the Play Store, and he seems to be okay, I think. Then his token price is not bad considering the market cap he also has,
which is around 14 million dollars more. It seems that I also want to try to buy it; I'll see short-term results.

The Karate token is promising and I don't think it will become a dormant project, tendering for the public such solid projects to make good investments. Afterall this space is just about the basic timely information, because information is pieces of either encrypted or decrypt message.There's always a project for us to anticipate in the space, we should be extremely careful because our next step can either puts a smile on our face or make us frown. We should always be in the position where we can easily hold on the good entries and become prominent in the system.

So this is supposed to be an application fully dedicated to betting on fighters of an specific league of karate?
I mean, I am not that surprised their token is surging, we are going through a bull market and it is normal people start to look for potential in these kinds of projects which have an apparent use case.
The only thing which would concern me is the fact this project only rewards winners with tokens whose value could decrease rapidly in value.

Also, if these fighters/this league managed to get markets in big casinos where people have more volume and liquidity to bet on, then this application would lose its reason to exist. Regardless of all of it, I am still willing to give a look at it, unfortunately, I am not that into karate or wrestling in general; otherwise I would feel more enthusiasm.

Why do they have have other categories like Kickback and Pit submission?

I also remember Lyoto Machida as one of the famous MMA fighter who introduced Karate to UFC but he is too old to be part of this now.

It's quite fun if we can choose who fights who according to fan demand, this is very interesting but how can the calculation of the fight be said to be fair and we can bet according to expectations and rules to get a win, because it is quite complicated rarely people who understand martial arts fighting, so the average person who bets on it must at least have the ability to read martial arts joint science and also know the track record of the opponent and the choice chosen to compete.
If you think about it, it's like we have a chicken and we're going to fight with the chicken that we want, it's a little bit strange, maybe we can explain it a little bit more to make it seem logical.

Yes he said it and I think the tokens can be used to bet, so it's pretty clear that the tokens can be used to bet in it, but I have never registered to join them and get free tokens, maybe it's time to join them and get free tokens and also be able to bet using it to multiply it. But I still have a little bit of a problem with the system because we can choose who and who to fight as you said, does that mean we also prepare who will fight, what if we choose a little strong and also a little weak in the duel.
Maybe it will be a lot clearer if I go deeper.

I can see this becoming popular and then the massive sale of tokens, it always ends that way. But this time the production behind the project is huge... And is hard to bet in this kind of event because the fighters are unknown, i have never seen those names on any MMA event. It even feels like the fights could be easily rigged.

Raiden wins! Man, MK was and is still one of my all time fav games.  I knew a few of the Fatality type finishing moves and loved deploying those in a "flawless victory".

Karate might have been more fun and popular today if guys like Van Damme and Bullshito master Steven Seagal actually fought against each other rather than just pretended to be tough in movies. I think the best example is Bruce Lee.  Fake tough guy.  Now the real bad ass who deserves all the memes and saying is Walker Texas Ranger , the one and only Chuck Norris.  I don't know if there's many martial artists who could have taken him on.  Bolo and Michael Jai White are another pair of martial artists I love and were real life bad asses.  

Anyways this has kinda got me excited so looking forward to checking out this project , make placing some bets!

I know this project, and the early buyuers already make good profits off the project, I don't know if it will survive on the long run unless the team keeps bringing new updates.

Is it worth calling this gambling or playing to earn games? Because there are many others like this one in crypto space today, for example Kompete, its a battle royal style shooter game and you can challenge your friends too, its already on epic games.

Somehow I feel like play to earn games can steal the spotlight from gambling sooner because all you need with these games is skills, you lose because you aren't good enough and you can fix it by becoming very good at the game.

It's pretty standard from what I've watched, almost the same striking rules with MMA so there's probably not a lot of things that would be out of place when you watch this as an MMA fan. It's not a new venture, 2018 is a long time so I think that they've probably got some changes on the inside that made it so they're focusing on growing the sports on the international stage, I feel like the reason why karate as a sport isn't as popular because there's some people in the upper echelon of the organizations are gatekeeping it as a sport that everyone can watch.

Karate is martial art that is actually quite popular in some areas, not everyone globally really likes it because there are very few official karate championships that really interest everyone.
Moreover, the ones that are really popular with karate are Japan and China, these two countries are countries that have lot of fighters with the martial art of karate in almost every region.
However, the spread of karate has really reached several countries, although it is not as popular as several other martial arts which have been successfully developed and fighters have become champions in major championships such as MMA and UFC.

In connection with this context, I think that this application could develop very rapidly if there were other collaborations that could create kind of hype and attract the interest of many people to use it.
Moreover, if this is really what the OP said about getting crypto tokens when using this application then it could attract more people.
But for betting, I hesitate to bet here because karate is not martial art that I like.

I'm wondering how much someone will earn if they win? according to their FAQ, it's a risk free gambling which mean you can earn and never loss (*in terms of coins). Since it looks too good to be true, I won't be surprised if the price will keep declining over and over since the supply keeps increase.

This could be the next big thing in combat sports I love combat sports, we have a lot of karate black belter in UFC and other MMA organizations and karate was one big organization before Tae Kwon Do became very popular karate was first recognized.

I'm also very bullish on their Karate token because it passes everything that investors want to see in a project, a fully developed platform, and worldwide coverage.

They don't have an official announcement here in Bitcointalk, but I'm sure the developers behind this project are fully aware of Bitcointalk I hope they can launch an official announcement to gain more followers, this is better than PVE games let's see what the future holds for this new concept.

I checked the website and saw some fighters that might be worth watching in the ring. But I am also concerned about the body or organization that regulates these fights to avoid match-fixing and other irregularities. The Karate token is not also doing badly seeing that it has made some gains and is becoming popular. I have not seen or downloaded any Karate Combat app but I think I would have to get one. Since it will cost nothing, I didn't mind predicting these fights to enable me get some of the token.

In my country, Karate as an art was made popular by Chinese films that showcased some uncommon actors with outstanding skills. It is well-viewed as a skill that is important for self-defense. As a sport, it has not received much attention from the government and the people but I am always open to learning new things. From some of the fights I have watched, I suspect that the rules will not be too complicated which might make learning simple. Having it as a part of sports bets offered in casinos is not a bad idea, maybe I might give it a try in my spare time.

Early this year it was $0.006. I have no idea how they distribute these tokens actually but yup 110B tokens is a lot. It's just amazing they are listed in big exchanges.

They are mostly not in the MMA promotions so they are unknown, one would have to follow Karate Combat fighters to know them. I don't know them either it's just fun to see a martial arts promotion tokenizing their company. If Bellator decided to do this rather than selling their company, I think they wouldn't have to sell, their fighters are more known.

The idea of introducing Karate sport to the gambling board is very interesting and allow gamblers to have access to a wider range of sports to bet on, going beyond the traditional options we usually have at betting platforms. However, do we really need a specific token in order to bet on Karate fights? Couldn't these fights be just introduced at sports books where we can place bets with Bitcoin? That would be the most reasonable alternative in my opinion.

The way it's done, especially on the peak of a new ATH, it looks just another project aiming to raise funds through their native token to take advantage of a temporary hype, while the sport itself stays in second plan.

Lol, the chubby boy who lead lots of investors into scammy lending platforms during the previous bull run of 2021 is back... I'm not surprised he defeated his adversary at Karate fight, though, since he has already a long history of defeating his fans in the past, who lost money to the scams he promoted.
