Is Solana still Worth buying??

Depends on about what timing you are asking. If you are asking in general if SOL is still a decent project to invest into? Then yeah I would say it is still a decent one to invest into and you are going to make some good profit out of it.

But if you are asking about just right now? Then I would say it is not going to end up being great because we are talking about a period where we might end up lower, not just SOL but all coins, including bitcoin. That is why, I would say stay away right now, buy when it drops, and wait until it goes back above ATH price again.

Agreed, that’s considerably cheap, especially considering Solana still has the potential to reach $1k in the next few years. There’s nothing to fear even if you buy now and the price plummets, just DCA. Solana is still one of the altcoins I can confidently say is good for long term holding. The community is still active, hasn’t gone into hiatus, and continues to show strong support. Solana and its community are big enough not to be abandoned midway.

I just hope "memes" move away from Solana for the project to be taken more seriously. There are too many "meme" tokens flooding the network like crazy. Of course, market prices increased due to the hype. But to remain valuable, it needs to be far more "than meets the eye". Ethereum, on the other hand, has more serious projects built on top of it. That's why it's the biggest "De-Fi" chain in TVL.

At least, Solana solved the "network outages" problem. It's taking a step in the right direction. $1k is a possibility considering that BNB went close to such valuation. And BNB is based off the same tech as ETH. Solana has its own tech and framework for smart contracts. In some way, SOL is much more innovative than BSC (the blockchain powering BNB). At the time of this writing, Bitcoin is experiencing a surge in market prices. There are no signs that altcoin season will happen soon. Better take advantage of this opportunity before it's too late.

Of course not. That's how the decentralized and open source nature of crypto works. It's "permission-less" (as in not requiring permission for you to use it or do whatever you want with it). Solana is among the favourable altcoins that allow altcoin investors to accumulate income during the bullish season, we saw what happened when COVID was spreading all over the world to affect human beings, decentralized investment and economy, but Solana and other altcoins still allowed their investors to earn income to convince other investors to try Solana investment, I know majority of altcoin investors prefer to invest their funds in etherium because they feel etherium is the king among other altcoins in the market but looking at the gas fees, it makes other investors to choose solana over etherium to achieve what they want from altcoin market.

We are doing it more and more though. I think if we look at how much investment and funding and trading memecoins got in 2020-2021-2022-2023-2024 and lastly 2025 then you will see a trajectory that is getting lower and lower. This year was the lowest year, while they were created, people knew that they are bad and not investing into it and that makes the most sense and we can definitely see it happen.

This is why I get that the best thing to do right now would be let it die slowly without putting any notice on it.

Solana is the only cryptocurrency that people I know actually use in their lives.  Tokenized investment opportunities, p2p payments, staking, memes...  It is the only currency I hear about from people who actually use crypto.  As a result, I think Solana has a brighter future than most cryptos and may even eventually reach the #2 spot behind Bitcoin someday.

However, the selloff it is seeing is pretty brutal right now with no signs of slowing down.  I think it could fall into the 40s or maybe even the 20s before this is all over.  If that happens, it could be a good opportunity to grab a chunk and stake it for a few years.

After end of bull run, Solana had started lossing its price and it waas worth $12 in November, 2022. And till August, 2023 solana was below $20. Many were talking about this is end of solana, it'll never pump and then something interesting happened to it and solana pumped 3/4 times from its position. And still its more than $185+ .many people still thinks solana would pump more. So they keep buying solana with such believe.

real talk Solana already ran hard so chasing it purely on hype is a bit risky. Could it pump more? Sure why not crypto can run wild. but buying just because it already flew is how people end up holding alot of money. smart move is asking if the risk still makes sense for you not just following the crowd. I don't know in real use, but thanks for the information, what I know why Solana is increasing is because of the many meme hunters who enter the Solana network and that is what makes Solana increase its value to print new highs in this cycle, from the ecosystem and also the real community in utilizing the network and protocol I don't think it's that big, let alone being the first choice for currency, I just want to say why this cycle Solana can print new ATH because of meme coins.

Solana might go back to $30 if the "meme" coins craze comes to an end. It's the #1 platform for "meme" coins, after all. This is a far stretch, considering that many VCs and retail investors are heavily-invested in it. Solana is considered one of the biggest smart contract blockchains after ETH. So market prices will go down. But not to a point where the coin ends up being "dirt-cheap".

You can still make money by buying SOL during every dip. It's worth around $87 at the time of this writing. With improvements such as Firedancer and Alpenglow, what can go wrong? I envision a faster, cheaper, and safer Solana in the long run. Just my two sats.
