In some cases there may be individuals who impersonate priests to find a way out of economic difficulties, but the falsehood will sooner or later reveal the truth. A pastor must know the contents of the Bible and must have the ability to interpret it well, he also needs to apply Bible teachings personally and convey Bible truths effectively to his congregation.
To become a priest is not as easy as one might imagine. For example, like a surgeon, he must have knowledge and surgical techniques. A pilot must undergo years of education and pass exams before being allowed to fly a passenger plane. A builder must work under the direction of a senior officer for many years before he is allowed to work alone.
In pursuing any profession, you are always faced with risks, life, security/safety and freedom. A pastor handles things that are much more important than some of the professions mentioned above, the pastor needs to convey the words that have been written in the Bible in depth.
You should not say this is Business, because this disgraceful act was carried out by individuals disguised as priests. I don't know in which country something like this happened, but I've never heard of something like this before.
It's messed up. Like, seriously messed up. This is someone violating one of the most sacred positions in society. Priests aren't just guys in fancy robes. they counsel people, guide them through life's biggest moments, hold the weight of a community's faith. Imagine faking that for money. It's disgusting. This whole thing exposes a problem way bigger than one con artist. It shows that we don't value true spiritual leadership. A doctor, a lawyer, we get that. But what a priest provides? That's intangible, yet it's the glue that holds people together. This guy's actions aren't just fraud, they're spitting on that trust.
Now, I'm not saying being a priest is some impossible task. It's not about that. It's about respecting the weight of that responsibility. This dude is trying to shortcut his way to a sacred role, exploit people's deepest beliefs for cash. That's a low point, like, a real low point. So yeah, it's a betrayal. Betrayal of faith, betrayal of honesty, betrayal of what should matter most. This isn't about religious rules, it's about basic human decency. This kind of crap reveals a sickness in society: where nothing's sacred anymore, where we chase money no matter who gets hurt. We need to call this out, loud and clear; because this is not okay.
