I guess you would have to basically start here, but the number in total probably is not correct, since some makers have no known coin addresses etc.

Edit - sounds like a daunting task - GL! Wink

Looking at the list, there are definitely a few more makers missing.
A good resource that may take a little time is to just start at the earliest Collectibles threads and go page by page....
There have been quite a few notable and infamous makers over the years who are not on your list.
Will hopefully have time to update this next week.

If you don't have a copy of the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins, it is a good place to start

You can see a list of all the makers I've added to the coin wiki here: https://wiki.coin.community/Category:Maker

It's not a complete list by far, but it will have some you're missing.

You quite possibly will never get the true estimate.  Lots of makers have made prototypes or weren't for public release and unknown as to how many of a certain coin has been made.  I applaud your effort and would be interested in seeing the depth of coins from some makers.  I can try to tally up how many I've made over the years.

You can see a list of all the makers I've added to the coin wiki here: https://wiki.coin.community/Category:Maker

It's not a complete list by far, but it will have some you're missing.

Thank you! It helps Smiley

You quite possibly will never get the true estimate.  Lots of makers have made prototypes or weren't for public release and unknown as to how many of a certain coin has been made.  I applaud your effort and would be interested in seeing the depth of coins from some makers.  I can try to tally up how many I've made over the years.

I agree. I'll attempt to get as true of an estimate as I can here. It will take some time and some doing but It will be a good guide into the future if completed and maintained. I appreciate all your help  Smiley

I have a spreadsheet of all makers, their data, and sales for the past three years. If I count using this data then the answer is approximately 561,670.

However, there are a lot of holes which include: 1. the creators actually do not know how many they made or they do not want to publish the data. 2. Creators that did not set a mintage but just mint on demand. 3. What is actually qualified as a physical bitcoin (for example, do you count Coined Bits, Anonymous Mint, Silver Shields - they may mint unlimited amounts of these rounds forever)?

Beware of scammers. I will never discuss the sale of Collectibles on Telegram or any other messaging client outside the forum.

For the NastyFans Minted Seats you should probably use the source data instead of linking to a 3rd party website.  Here's the actual source data link if you wanted it: https://nastyfans.org/mint.json

they were poker chips actually. 100 sets of 5 chips and then 100 sets of 2 chips (error colors from the set of 5)
and then I made the pepe flyer coins as a commission for minerjones

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284106.0 - for the set of 5

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5403370.0 - for the set of 2

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5472634.0 - for the pepe flyer coins

I do need to do some more and do something creative. The fiat job consumes too much of my time - need that 1 million USD BTC then I can walk away lol

Thats awesome! I'm a big fan of the poker chip style myself Smiley
You need to grab a high power laser like Mojo and start engraving some coins, that would be a fun endeavor.
Hopefully we reach that 1 million mark in the next couple of cycles-
I'm currently working two engineering jobs and would love to focus on some passion projects.

I have 3 lasers atm but none are strong enough to engrave metal - mark em, sure - cut em, nah.
