Why I can only afford to invest in the highily volatile AltCoins and the MemeCoins is that the tokens are cheaper to purchase in a lot of quantities unlike bitcoin that's very expensive. Although it's agreed that one can invest on bitcoin with any amount of money but comparing the fractions or quantity, bitcoin is more quality and expensive.

You say Bitcoin is expensive, I know what you mean but you don’t have to buy a full Bitcoin to make good profits. Let’s say for example you can only invest $500 every 2 or 3 months, you are still building an investment strategy that way. You are far more likely to make guaranteed profits investing in the established coins like Bitcoin & Ethereum than playing shitcoin roulette, trying to pick 1 of the many memecoins to succeed. Most of them fail & you’re more likely to lose than make money buying low ranked altcoins & memecoins.

There's a thing called DCA where you can buy small amounts of bitcoin in a consistent manner, as @DeathAngel has said, you don't have to buy bitcoin all in one. Your plan to buy altcoins and meme coins is a good one too, if you really don't want to buy bitcoin that is, anything to help curb your funds for gambling, probably the only way that you will be able to help yourself too and I do hope that if you ever profit in your risky endeavor of investing in alts and memecoins, youd don't put those profit to fund your gambling habit even more.

Too much gambling can be bad so you cutting it short and instead investing it on something much more profitable such as crypto is good. I hear the sentiment of bitcoin being super expensive however its returns can still be very high

If every 2 months 500$ is really a good dca method if done with bitcoin, but if the trader can't afford that amount because he doesn't earn at least 300$ a month, it will be really difficult.

That kind of amount is easy if the monthly salary is also big; let's say it's $1,000. It's still affordable, and you can do what you're saying. Of course,
there are expenses that will be calculated every day and paid every month as well.

I just hope that you know what you are getting into, investing in an altcoin that is not part of the group with the highest market cap will bring you a lot of risks and you may fail to realize the benefits you are looking for, so while cutting on your gambling costs so you can use that money to invest is a good idea, your sacrifices could be in vain if you happen to select the wrong coins and they do not grow at all during the next bull market.

Being a cheaper price your sole reason to invest in Altcoins is something I wouldn't say I like because they have that kind of valuation due to the total supply quantity compared to Bitcoin, which only has a 21M supply. Buying a token with 0.0000000xx$ price is useless and considered as not cheap if the total supply of that token is a trillion or more. You should invest based on the token fundamentals and not on the price.

I do this but instead of Altcoins, I'm holding Bitcoin. I hold back all my gambling funds on Bitcoin since its price becomes 40K because I feel that it will hit the ATH that time which is what happened. This strategy is perfect when the market is moving uptrend.

I can understandthat Bitcoin seems crazy expensive.  Like when you're first starting out with crypto, a whole Bitcoin is just not happening and  that's why altcoins or memecoins can suck you in - your dollar goes further.  But here's the strategy I'd recommend: throw a little money at the riskier altcoins and memecoins, knowing its a total gamble.  But keep most of your investment focused on big guns like Bitcoin that are more likely to be around long-term.  It balances things out - you get the chance of hitting it big with an riskier coin but your money's mainly safe with old reliables.

I'm no expert though.  This is just what worked for me while I was learning the ropes.  Bitcoins still the heavyweight champ in my book!

it's not a guaranteed win but because it seem the bull market is yet not over and we have yet to surge further because of the halving so yes gamble yourself to memecoins, it's worth it if you could invest a percentage of you gambling funds, consider it the lost amounts you won't be expecting much return in case the memecoin gamble will not work. so choose your memecoin like elon would. at least the top memecoin would make sure it will still have a value even if all won't work out.

I too wanted not to risk my coins and invest on coins which may give profit for me in long term but I always end up trading with memecoins that too on a leverage. I just joined bought Shiba Inu long and it has been decreasing since. Trading for me has been not much different from gambling where in many occasion whole of my investment is liquidated. I try to play safe and invest with my coin only but it gets boring as the profit in making are lower than staking USDT. Leverage trading with Shorts and Longs are indeed more gambling than trading.

Meme coins are nothing but gambling but I hope you know that before you gamble, you that before you gamble, you must understand how gambling works, you must have the skills to gamble and you must be smart to,understand how to overcome loss from gambling, altcoins and other meme coins are not different from these strategy. Before you buy and altcoin or meme coins, you should do it when they are in bear market, there is no way you are going to lose to altcoins if you bought them when there is not interest from people.

It's during the bear market you will get hint about a project that is dead and the ones that is still alive because the ones that are dead don't get to come back during the bull season. You should also check if the team are active, check for any possible hack if there is tokens concentrated in a particular wallets, this will help you make a good choice on the altcoins you are trying to gamble.

Its the same actually but some memes hit some potentials too when they are being hype but in terms of gambling as long you knew which method you use to earn or gain then its worth it. On gambling you knew the chance or your rate of success. On meme sometimes it give you a mulitplier that literally gives life changing profits. But if youll ask me? You got it all wrong I would suggest you to go back to basics of Bitcoin is $70k and let's say any shit coin which you are referring is priced under $1 and imagine Bitcoin doing 50% pump you will have 150% of your capital but if the so called cheap coin gets devalued by 50% then your capital will be reduced by 50% i don't understand why it's so difficult for people to understand this simple dynamics that it's not the price of coin but rather it's performance which yields profits and all the coins priced under $1 doesn't necessarily do 1000x as a lot of factors has to be considered like total supply and all.

Bitcoin is not expensive however you could rather say that you don't have the patience enough to hold because with the kind of amount you may have you apparently need to be accumulating for long and of course I can see you don't have that patients enough to hold for long because Bitcoin is best performed when seen on a long term perspective, Bitcoin is not a quick and get rich scheme but from your expression I can also see that you needed a quick profits rather than waiting, I wish you good luck in your choice of altcoin.

Bitcoin is the only currency that can lessen your peril so don't think about the coin expensive feature but think about its success rate. Meme coins are lower in price but most if them are scamming project and in case of bitcoin you have to buy some fragment of Bitcoin with the amount you can afford.

I think this is a very good idea, I'm not a memecoin fan but I like to reduce risk of losing everything and take the risk of profiting even with the slightest opportunity. If you're a gambler and you have an amount that is good enough to purchase a quality of altcoins that might profit you in less than few days of trade then I think you should go ahead with that Idea.

Perhaps gambling and trading altcoins are more a like so the same energy you put to wager in gambling sites can be put in the market and profit will be maximised. If you purchase coins that are low in market cap and when they get listed you can make up the the loses that you must have acquired in the process. You are looking at this all wrong.  Bitcoin being expensive is relative because it's fractionally.  I can find you a ton of cheap memecoins right now that are "expensive" because they likely have already peaked and are only going to go down.  If you buy a coin that only costs $.00001 each but goes down or bitcoin that is $70,000 each but only goes to.  Which one is more expensive?  Don't use that as your guideline.
