Let me make it big for it to be obviously seen: Dangote further reduces diesel price to ₦1000/litre

Dangote has reduced the price of AGO which we popularly known as diesel from ₦1200 to ₦1000. We can remember that this was sold at ₦1900 some months ago,but which fell to ₦1600.

I think this govt isn't just folding their hands while things are falling apart. This govt are working with critical stakeholders in our country to cushion and reduce the price of goods in the market. Dangote reducing the price of diesel is a welcome development and this show that FG are working

I read last month that it is possible for PMS (petrol) price to reduce this month if the refinery in Port Harcourt is fully functional. This month has just started and we are looking forward for good news about this.

Today, I have just read that Dangote refinery is now selling AGO (diesel) as diesel price plummeted. Diesel sold at ₦1900 in few weeks back but mostly selling between ₦1600 and 1700 per liter. But as Dangote refinery begin diesel sales, it started selling it at N1225.per litre.

If the price of PMS and AGO starts to decrease, it is possible for default to occur as the price of goods and services may start decreasing. But other areas like increase in minimum wage and others also still need to be considered which can make me not to be accurately correct but I think that the price if goods and services may reduce.
Honestly, I don't think this reduction would have much effect in the price of gods and services in this wrecked country. The tax they impose on these goods at boundaries and toll gates are the main causes of inflation of prices. When people complain about the transportation costs,  petrol is the least of their worries. You'll have to keep settling touts and force men handsomely before you're allowed to peacefully supply your good to the intended destination.

Take for example, the exchange rate want down in Naira's favor up to nearly #1k to $1, but the prices of things didn't  really follow suit because the taxes imposed on these goods were amplified, so the effect was not really felt.

The government will remain the government. Although they are trying this time around just to make things better for Nigerians. Diesel price keep reducing while petrol price keep increasing while the government announced it will be sold below #500. I think the government should do something about petrol as well.

P/Harcourt refinery: Marketers eye N500/litre petrol, set to load

Oil marketers said that the refinery will soon begin PMS (petrol) production and the price will be ₦500 per liter. Likely the PMS production will begin in this month. Also it was said that Dangote refinery will begin PMS production in May and the price will be ₦500 per liter also.
