Do you think they’ll manage to hold their ground, or will we see a shift towards exclusively digital platforms?

Young generation boys and girls are generally not showing much interest in land based gambling or casino because online gambling is more convenient than online gambling.
But still those who are middle age or old people are usually interested in land based gambling or casino because they are not very interested in online gambling.
Anyone can participate in online gambling or casino at any time from any part of the world in any currency but to participate in land based gambling one must be physically present.

There is no way that land based casinos every go out of business.  I mean eventually they will get "hurt" a bit more than they are right now, as younger generations turn to online sources for basically anything and everything, but there's always going to be a need/want for in person gambling as its a social thing.  They really are two different things entirely as playing online you don't get that human interaction and the thrill that comes with it.

Here we have 3 big casinos and it was like 10 minutes drive from my place that's why in the early years I was really hooked up on gambling and become addicted. And with my experienced, I think traditional base casinos are already good and doesn't need changes. They offer free drinks, and full entertainment already and they have hotels if you want for full accomodation.

It's different in Macau or Las Vegas though, specially Macau, that is the only nation in the world that I know off that totally depends it's economics to casinos and gambling profits. And it's not that bad though, their population have jobs in casino or at least connected to it. So this is one exception we have known so far.

As long as cinemas still exist even though you can conveniently watch movies on Netflix on your phones and people still go to stadium to watch matches when they can watch on TV and phones, physical casinos will still exist. It's just a matter of preference whether you want to gamble online or physically, people will always like to hangout and entertain themselves with friends in physical casinos. It's fun to play games physically so it won't go extinct. You can get bored sitting all by yourself gambling on your device and you can decide to visit a physical casino or sports bet shop where you'll mingle with other gamblers and have fun. I think that they'll coexist but online gambling will grow faster because of the ease of gambling.

I share your view that land-based casinos will not go out of business but I disagree with you that they will get hurt over time, in fact, they will be better. The current earning statistics show that they are earning more than the online casinos combined. This can only mean that they are doing well in the business with a brighter future, and with the current reality, they are upgrading in technology as well, so I don't see how they will be knocked out of the business or get hurt. After all, they are offering almost the same thing that the online casinos are offering and even some that the online casinos are not offering, the difference is just the mode of operation. People will always have that moment when they need to feel that physical presence.

Having an eating place in a physical casino can be another value added to the casino and attract more gamblers. 

And even if you don't believe it, this was one of the biggest Attractions that when I met the casino was what motivated me the most even when I was in college, as is normal, when we are in college and we do many activities apart from learning, well I took full advantage of it, practicing sports , going to parties, going to drink beer in many places, when I went to the Casino I could see that I was entering an environment that felt much more elegant, where not just Anyone could enter, so one of the things I liked the most was eating chicken lollipops with beer, wow and playing that is the best , if you are in the full roulette, and you bet while eating and winning, that is a phenomenal sensation.

That's true. But, online gambling is slowly growing. Boomers and Millenials are shifting to it. The revenue chart shows that online gambling is rising. It means more people know that online gambling is fun. It needs time to attract older generations to it.



Land-based gambling still leads in revenue. But, I think online gambling is slowly taking a bigger share. We may be seeing onlin-based gambling to be as popular as land based gambling in the next decade.

Experience could really be never be the same if we do speak about user on how to do the games and basing up on the ambiance on which this is something will really be different. There would really be people

be your main preference on going into these places. Its true that you would really be having that kind of feeling or impressions on the moment or time that you will really be tending to go into these physical places on which its true that you would be having thoughts that all of people would be going into this place are really that rich ones and you as an average gambler then you would really be having that kind of odd feeling.

Everyone has its own customer. But telling that digital casinos will last longer than land based is wrong imo. If it was about being afraid or preferring everything online to offline, then we wont have cinemas, shops and restaurants. Who needs offline service if we can order everything online and watch everything online. However, new stores, malls and etc opens all the time.
