When do you think the altcoin bull run will begin in 2024?

I'm obviously somebody who believes trading in altcoins is the right way to maximize profits. Now that we're getting close to a new Bitcoin bull cycle, I just wanted to know how soon do you think altcoins will take flight? Are you following the Altcoin Season Index?

We know that all altcoin markets fluctuate in sync with the Bitcoin market. So when the Bitcoin halving ends and Bitcoin bull season begins, it will be Altcoin bull season. We know there are only 87 days 3 hours 40 minutes left for the bitcoin halving so the bitcoin halving will end on April 21, 2024. If the Bitcoin halving ends on April 21, 2014, the bull run will occur just a few months later. So it can be said that the Bitcoin Bull Run will happen in late 2024 and early 2025. From here we can say that when bitcoin bull market starts then altcoin bull market will start.

That is purely speculation and for all the same reasons we have had our bull market and by the halving, the price could be a lot lower. But altcoins mostly follow the trend for bitcoin and when there is a bullmarket, the price for altcoins (especially some memecoins or small cap altcoins) can jump up massively without any real reason also. That is a good time to take profit!

It's starting now. As you can see that majority of altcoins got big pump. The cycle is starting with the meme coin which is pumping gradually then altcoin follows it. There have been many meme coins pumped a lot and it's still even going up till this time. I think that the altcoin has been starting and we will be seeing so many crazy pump to happen soon.

I think that the main pump is just starting right now seeing massive coins in the market were pumping so hard. Altcoin will always be following bitcoin. Altcoins needs to make sure its marketcap will not be eaten by bitcoin. Whales will always be moving from btc to the altcoin after btc gets sideways.

bull season already started in the start of Feb . BTC rose more than 10% which is bullish sign for whole crypto market. Many altcoins shows a great movement. ETH which was stuck below 2500$ finally start journey to break ATH although still almost 1500$ rose required which will not happen in week. If spot ETF approved then maybe happens soon then expectations.

Solona,Avax,Inj and all major coins are now in great position and if anyone took entry in Bear season I believe that their portfolio will be more than 2x now. If btc remains stable for two days more above 60k then we might see a real altcoins bullish cycle.

I think the end of last year was the right time to start investing, where almost all altcoins experienced an increase and this continued until the beginning of 2024, although the increase was not significant, but I am very sure that 2024 is the year of altcoins where is a big possibility for altcoins in the future  will reach its ATH again,

Actually it is the end of 3rd quarter last year is what the perfect timing to buy altcoin because that means readying the investment for this point of time in which we are in bullish market .
the increase is here and there and the profit of each investors are really the one that made us having our major pump now.

Yes, if there is an increase in Bitcoin, it is natural that altcoins will experience an increase too, but this does not have an impact on all altcoins, some are silent, some are experiencing an increase, therefore we have to do research and sort carefully. choosing an altcoin, we must choose the right potential altcoin that will have a big positive impact if there is an increase

honestly this bullrun around im thinking that the altcoin season are just happening alongside bitcoin price increase because lets be honest here the price of altcoin are increasing crazy when bitcoin is reaching the all time high lately.
even meme coin are scoring some massive gains here and then even despite the fact that they are already high enough in terms of market capitalization.

to be fair though altcoin has been recovering slowly from their all time low to their all time high, i think if bitcoin could somehow surpass that all time high which is $68k and having sustained $70k and beyond it will be a really good sign for altcoin since the trend is just altcoin following bitcoin trend.

there might be no altcoin season no more but just cryptocurrency bullish cycle in which all coin are riding the train that bitcoin is having and thats it, though its honestly just my speculation
we don't even know if there gonna be altcoin season since seeing from past chart history maybe its gonna be happening at the peak of bitcoin.

When Bitcoin hits a price level at which further price growth will be impossible, investors will receive a significant profit, which they will fix and buy altcoins, the price of which will be low in relation to BTC. We just can't do without the altcoin season)

Nothing happened to the market, you don't expect the price to keep increasing sequentially, every price pump happens as an outcome in demand of Bitcoin and some times may not be able to continue the price impact or even stabilize. I saw a post where someone said whales sold some of their Bitcoins that is the reason the market had dropped then but we can now clearly see the recovery.

Everyone wants to get an answer to these 2 questions: when to buy and when to sell. But if you don't have a crystal ball, then you'll never know the answer for sure. Therefore, if you hold altcoins, you definitely need to set a stop loss in case of a dump. And if the price goes down, it will allow you to buy the same coins again at a reduced price.

I saw a very high rise of several altcoins especially Solana, after the bad news last year Solana slowly rose and regained investors' trust.
I also agree that altcoins can provide huge profits.

What we just saw in this new bull run that occur early this year show what will happen before the end of this year 2024 because, the price of altcoins is preparing to rise higher more than what people saw in this month of march so that they will continue to add Altcoins to their investment whenever the bear run occur.

This is a very good question. And to answer it, we have to look into some of the  features of Altcoins and the number one to look into is the movement of Altcoins in the market. The movement of Altcoins is very low so to predict it bull market is always difficult. Like bitcoin once the movement starts we all know that the Bull Market will start soon or as started but it is not like that with altcoins. When bitcoin was $35+k Ethereum was $1k or $2 if I am not mistaken yet the movement is very slow.

So as for me as I said before the Bull Market of Altcoins has not started but when Market changed we will know and predict for the bull market to the All Time High of the altcoins. And for now it is not.

That's true, because we have already seen that in recent movement of BTC price, BTC price is very increasing and hit previous all time high, and altcoins also good pumping but not like that Bitcoin price, a few top coins price increased pretty high but a lot of coins  are not such an impacted for BTC pumping. And i think beside BTC, this bull run is also happen for MEME coins.

this time around the trigger will probably be the approval of ETH ETF that currently being delayed, i think it has big chance of trigger the altcoin season, i mean you see after bitcoin got its ETF approved its just pumping like there's no tomorrow even achieving all time high long before the expected date where many analyst are having their speculation about bitcoin that next bullrun probably gonna occur around Q3 of 2024 but we see right now that the price of bitcoin has reached all time high even surpassing it by certain margin its really bullish around here.

therefore if ETH somehow got its ETF approved then we might see ETH and all its ecosystem and all the blockchain that depends a lot on ETH such as those L2 will definitely got some motivation to increase their overall price and gain momentum for the big altcoin season rally, hopefully that gonna be the case I think we can agree that many people are already waiting for it.

Alts are selling off now. Many people are starting to exit from the altcoin market to go to the bitcoin. We are less than a week from the halving time and this gonna be another hyped moment. Im sure that if the bullish trend will comeback later this year. it's caused by bitcoin is still owning altcoin by keep eating its marketcap.
People have trust anymore to play on altcoin for long term after bitcoin being approved by so many big companies. I think that if ETF doesn't even give good impact to the altcoins. Majority of coins are not stable right now.
Many of them are facing the same thing as many of their buyers were selling all of their alts to the market. Shit is once again coming to the altcoins right now.

That's very much true that alts prices are tightly coupled with Bitcoin and they will go up only if Bitcoin goes up. So why not invest in Bitcoin directly rather then investing in alts. See today's instance, Bitcoin 5% in 24 hours and see how top alts like Eth and Solana went down. I am not a big fan of alts but if someone is looking for bull run of alts then it must have happened when Bitcoin touched it's new ATH of 73k$ few week back.
