[banned mixer] yomix Scam Attention, everyone, stay away immediately!!

what happened:

I need to mix bitcoins, so I tried to use yomix (https://[banned mixer]/).

because I trust yomix, I did not check step by step the amount of bitcoins sent to me after each mixing, nor did I check one by one through the blockchain explorer whether I received it Mix Bitcoin (because the yomix website prompts that the sending was successful).

Finally I was surprised to find that the order showed that it was sent successfully, but no Bitcoin was sent to my wallet address (the success deceived my eyes, because at first I thought yomix would not lie to me, but the fact is, after the transaction was completed, the order told me The mix succeeds, the send succeeds, but I don't receive any bitcoins at all).

So, please stay away from this scam site (at least so far my order bitcoins have not been sent to my wallet).

I also hope that yomix can send the funds that originally belong to me after seeing my message, because this is very important to me.

We are not supposed to posts about mixers anymore on this forum, so this will not make me give you what you can do on this forum, but it would be good if you can go to Altcoinstalks to complain about it but I have not seen Yo!Mix on Altcoinstalks before. It will be good if you also complain about the mixer there. Also you can ask about what to do on the mixers thread on the forum to know if they can give you good information about how you may be able to recover your coins back. Unfortunately the said mixer has an issue, there is an ongoing discussion of them regarding their exit scam on this thread^[1], also it was labeled a possible problem on the altcoinstalks thread mentioned above.

A good scam accusation requires clear evidence to make it believable instead of writing a story. You should have the Letter of Guarantee, please post it.

Weird situation. Consider this is a fake accusation [I am not saying it is fake] the mixer representative has no way to defend their service. Anyway, an scam accusation is not a promotion but a warning. Theymos also did not give a clear explanation about scam accusations I think, did he?

My point is, a mixer can not defend an accusation anymore in this forum. Someone who does not like a mixer or a little unhappy with their service can easily spread fud. Unfortunately the altcoinstalk is the place to have such discussions but in that forum, it is hard to find a constructive discussion like we can have here.

Icopress was the first member who warned everyone about this Yo scam, and I always suspected they could end up like

We can still post and talk about them, especially in cases when scam mixer activity is detected.
Only thing that is not allowed is advertising them in here and posting any link recommendations, everything else should be fine and not against forum rules.

I am surprised to see that you have lost too large a amount but you have not provided any evidence against the so-called site. This type of service is not a good service and that's why the forum admin banned their promotion. For next time better not to use any service like this.

Usually, if a person wants to make a transaction on a site that he has never trusted before, he should use a small amount at first as an experiment and not send this large amount all at once. This is a big mistake.

There is also a Redditor who was crying foul play about a month ago ([banned mixer] is a pure scam! Beware, but then 17 days back he claimed they had paid him back his money.

The claims there were not serious. @Russtie Beerkan had a bad first impression of the blender and perhaps this is due to Yomix signature campaign and I think the service was working until last two months ago.

In general, the allegations made by icopress are strong and enough to judge the mixer as a scam, and if @OP provides additional data, then the total amount of scammed Bitcoin will increase.

A letter of guarantee would reveal sensitive information that they might not be comfortable sharing publicly. If that is the case then I would advise to share it through anonymous communication with a trusted member, like icopress, who can then confirm if they were scammed. The OP has not returned to the forum since making this accusation so it might remain unsolved.

That user claims they received a reply from YoMix on Telegram, but I can’t find any link to their official Telegram on YoMix’s website or announcement threads. I wonder if this user is trying to scam people by pretending to be their support.

I did find this other accusation on Reddit, translated from Russian: "There's nothing good about this mixer, it left me, it's been 16 days, and nothing came. Technical support is silent. Avoid this YoMix scammer. If someone is interested in screenshots and the like, Telegram also has scammers for this support."

I think if the topic has some relevance and is worth discussing but not a promotion for the use of mixer, then it's alright to talk about mixers. If I recall, it's not allowed to recommend or give out a recommendation for mixers to use so I think Scam Accusations of mixers that are doing something is probably not on the alley of being a bad topic to talk about, regards to clear explanation, we can probably just infer.

Maybe OP's got some kind of experience with using it that they've been too trusting that there's no scammer mixer out there and that money isn't that much for OP or something like that, I'm just throwing out potential reasons here, that don't that these are all true, maybe OP is just unlucky and YoMix is really a bad mixer service, feels bad that they can't defend themselves here.

I also thought about malware, clipboard malware and even using a phishing URL as possibilities behind this allegation because of the amount mentioned ($30,000-$40,000) is huge but there is an update on this situation.

OP, @YoMixScam, it would be very useful if you could confirm what you stated here. icopress has already suggested that you somehow publish a letter of guarantee to be sure that your claims are correct.
If you don't want it to be public, you can do it through private correspondence with one of the verified members here, whose words we don't doubt.

The thread containing the mentioned post has been viewed 1540 times since its opening. icopress's post was seen much fewer times. So the news went almost unnoticed by a large number of members.
The information was transferred to the altcoinstalks forum in a thread that has been viewed 3300 times so far. Also, a very small number of different people saw such info.
Even with research, it is quite possible that he would not have come across this discussion.

I see this problem of lack of information partly in theymos' decision to ban mixers and open discussions about them. Without the mixer ban on Bitcointalk, I'm sure everyone would have been warned much earlier in a much more transparent way.

Until just a few months ago, Yomix was very present here and considered a stable service. I have used it myself a couple of times.
