Those who are looking for money from gambling certainly hope to get more money. When I place a bet I also hope that my money will come back. But I already understand, some time I made bets for fun.

Yeah, making money is the main driver for most things in society really.

When we see that the rewards in gambling are money, such as winnings, then yes maybe I would also agree with your idea that maybe most people gamble with the intention of making money, because in fact none of us don't need money.

You make sound gambling as an illness and a terrible activity to partake in with that post of yours. But in reality, gambling is not as black-and-white as you picture it. It is true that sick people, driven by their addiction to gambling can commit heinous crimes in order to continue to roll dices and spin slots for a while longer, but that does not mean all about gambling is negative and would only lead to bad consequences. Well, you are not wrong there. Gambling can never be good, especially for those trying to use it as a source of income. That way, it becomes a serious habit and it's never a good thing especially if you are risking your money for it.

I think I can relate to what you said; A notorious gambler strolled in once and wagered correct scores - amongst them was a 5-0, 6-0 score for the opposing teams and, surprisingly, he won!...98k was enough for him to cashout and leave with that, but he started bragging to everyone around - that he's got a special power or, say an ability to make accurate predictions...

Hello pals , this might Sound Crazy And funny But there are some meanings To It when looked At critically ,I Was having some chats with My colleaques in the Office And I told them that I am waiting for the right Time to stake my bets online and one of them opted that he hates gambling and that he has never achieved anything from the money he makes while gambling , and that he either Drinks with The money or goes to club with his girl Friend and many more unfortunate reasons .

Still on the matter another colleaque of mine backed him up saying that since he started gambling that he has never achieved anything tangible from gambling and that he feels that something mysterious is associated with the money he makes from gambling.

Concerning that you colleague that haven't achieved anything from the money he won in gambling, that's a personal decision, he is the one that failed to do the right thing and be discipline enough to use the money rightly, because I knew of someone that won a huge amount of money in football betting, and to be frank, if you look at that guy today, you wouldn't know him again if you knew him before, because he was very wretched and unkept, but the money he won change his condition and his financial status entirely, because he used them wisely, by investing into an ice blocks business, which is currently making a very good amount of money for him, so it all depends on the individual.

I think you've made wrong perception about gambling and trust me that isn't true at all. A gambler won't commit any crime or do kidnapping but someone who's highly addicted to gambling can do such level of things and we at this forum always suggest everyone to be safe from gambling addiction by learning about gambling responsibility.

By the way, crime isn't done because of gambling but because of someone's nature. Even psychology proves that criminals are born either genetically by birth or get in crime due to their childhood environment.
